It is with great pleasure to announce that Ivies In China reached a milestone today: 25,000 hits.

The 25,000th hit literally happened the moment that the cauldron was lit on the NBC telecast. As in, the second it happened.

Originally, we did not have a set goal as to how far this site could go because it is a venture that is unique to college sports. By and large it was/is navigating unchartered waters. As the website took shape, the number that we hinged success on was 25,000. If we could attain that number by the end of Games, we'd deem this project a success. But the response has been as swift as it has been overwhelming. And we thank you for being a part of it. You have challenged us to deliver the best possible product and to provide content throughout the course of the Beijing Olympics.

And we accept because we believe in these student-athletes. Just like you.

So stay with us throughout the competition -- and recruit others to join our team -- as we cheer on our friends and family.

And finally, compete well fellow Ivies... enjoy this great experience... and know that 25,000 (and counting!) are cheering you on!

Here is my high score in snowboarding.

oh, lol, I forgot to take the pic but it was 58967.

And they changed the ninja skate boarding thing also.

It used to be 15,000 then changed to 35,000 and now it's 25,000. lol I think they should keep it at 15,000.

So, sometime overnight this little, nothing blog reached 25,000 views.

I do this to keep myself sane, but it seems like it is getting some attention. Thanks for playing. :)
