Article marketing has evolved a lot since the first article appeared on a website. There have been a lot of strategies that made article marketing a success.

However, you must know that article marketing is only a marketing vehicle to bring quality traffic to your site and brand your product. If you mix article marketing with other marketing strategies, you will get loads of traffic and your articles will be an instant hit.

Generally, 99% of the article marketers write a few articles and put it on every article directory on the planet. This is the most common way to market your product/service while giving out quality information to people.

However, putting articles on article directories is not enough since there are only a limited number of people visiting article directories to find the required information. Most of the traffic comes from Google and other search engines. So you leave your articles in the hands of article directories and Search engines. At one time, people will stop accessing your articles and the traffic will fade away.

To stir a new life in your article marketing strategy, you need to change the strategy completely. You should never limit yourself to article directories and search engines. Market your articles with every possible marketing medium on the internet. Following are some of the secret tips and tricks to take your article marketing to a whole new level:

Use Social Bookmarking sites - Once your upload the articles to any article directory like TRCB.com or ezinearticles.com, start the bookmarking frenzy on every major bookmarking site on the internet. Start with Stumbleupon, del.icio.us, fark.com and furl.com.

If you don't have accounts on these sites already, create accounts and start the bookmarking process. The best traffic generator is Yahoo Buzz. Create an account on Yahoo buzz and see the traffic pouring in to read your articles.

Remember to bring traffic from bookmarking sites, you need to create a compelling headline for your article and stuff it full of information.

Remember the equation:
Grab with Headline + exclusive information x reach = Traffic

Facebook / Myspace - social networking sites are the best traffic generator out there. If you don't have an account on facebook and MySpace, you are living in the Stone Age. If you don't have many people as your friends on MySpace and Facebook, you should start friending people now. If you already have over 100 friends on Facebook and MySpace, share the link to your article with all your friends. If they like it, they will share it with their friends and you will get amazing traffic in days rather than months.

In Facebook, use the ‘Share' feature to share the links to your articles with your friends. Also send them a message with links to your articles.

In MySpace, use the bulletin feature to share the articles with your friends. Initiate the buzz with a word of mouth, if your article has exclusive information, it will reach to the farthest corner of the world.

M. Siddique is successfull internet marketer to market variety of his of his own products. Siddique strongly believes in making money online. Siddique is regular contributer to TRCB.com and writes articles on Real Estate Investing mostly in commercial real estatespecially shopping centers, hotels, motels.

A lot of webmasters use articles to provide content for their readers to enjoy, or to promote a prod

A lot of webmasters use articles to provide content for their readers to enjoy, or to promote a product. If your website is a small one you may be able to handle the article writing on your own. However in some cases you will definitely need to consider the services of a ghostwriter to help you.

A ghostwriter is a person who writes anonymously, meaning their name does not appear as the author of the article. The webmaster, who pays for the article to be written, also pays for the rights to the article.

So how does one decide when to use the services of a ghostwriter? Listed below are a few reasons to outsource your content to a ghostwriter, aka a qualified custom article writer.

1 - Your Website is Growing and You Can’t Write Fast Enough.

Your website visitors will only continue coming to a site that provides consistent fresh content. A website that doesn’t provide new content for their visitors is like inviting friends over for dinner and serving them leftovers from last week. I can assure you they will not quickly return to your house for dinner! Nor will your website visitors return to your website if they find the same content over and over. What need is there to return?

A consistent update with custom articles written by a ghostwriter (or yourself if you have the time and talent) will insure your visitors will come back for more. That’s why blogs are so popular. The content is always changing. The visitor knows he will get the latest update. The bottom line is simply this: the more visitors you have coming to your website the better are your chances to make money. The fresher, updating content you put on your site the more traffic you will have. It’s as simple as that.

Now, if your website traffic is increasing fast, you will also need to update fast and that usually means you need help. A ghostwriter can help you keep that traffic coming.

2 - You Sell a Product but You Simply Can’t Write Good Articles

Okay, face it. Not everyone can write; yet we all know that content is necessary for selling products on the Internet. Even if you don’t use articles to drive traffic to your site, you need to be able to write descriptions of your products. You need pre-sell pages. You need Thank You pages. In some cases you need passive, indirect sales pages where an article provides excellent information that subtly guides the visitor to the shopping cart. But if you can’t write your site becomes a dull, boring blight on the Internet landscape and your site soon dies an unprofitable death.

Ghostwriters to the rescue! Thankfully, there are people who can write and who love to write. A ghostwriter can provide you with custom articles, product descriptions, pre-sell pages, thank you pages - even press releases, relieving you from the task of writing so you can focus on selling and customer service.

3 - You Don’t Have Time to Write

Maybe you work at a full time job and your Internet website is a part time endeavor. Maybe you have a dozen plus websites and can’t keep up the pace of writing for so many sites to keep them fresh. Maybe you’re a full-time wife and mother.

Whatever the reason many website owners simply don’t have time to dedicate to writing content. The good news is that even if you are working 40 hours a week on a full time job, or 24 hours a day as a wife and mother you can still earn money on the Internet. Yes, you still need good, quality content. Thankfully it’s not hard to locate a qualified content ghostwriter these days! By using the services of a ghostwriter “you can have your cake and eat it too”, meaning you can keep your current job or role as wife and mother and build up a nice Internet business on the side. What a deal.

4 - You Hate to Write

If a person decides to become a chef but they hate to cook the advice would be, “stay out of the kitchen!” Likewise a person who hates to deal with people on a personal level would be an utter failure as a pastor of a church - a very people-oriented job. A sure path to failure is to choose a career one hates.

Thankfully, that is not the case with websites.

You can hate to write (and websites require lots of writing) and still be a huge success story if you discover how to use ghostwriters. So, if you simply hate to write don’t fret! Chalk it up as one of your reasons to outsource your content to a ghostwriter. Not that you really need a reason. Outsourcing is just good business sense allowing you to double and triple your income without doubling or tripling your work. Now, that is a really good deal!

What do presidents, candidates, political debaters and Internet Marketers have in common? Writers. W

What do presidents, candidates, political debaters and Internet Marketers have in common? Writers. We all need fresh content. The politician employs a speech writer; the Internet Marketer outsources to a freelance content writer. Both entities are ghostwriters who receive no credit for his work. The speaker or webmaster gets all the glory.

Ghost (speech) writers have been employed by our political leaders for 100’s of years. It has been reported that Alexander Hamilton was the speech writer for George Washington. If that is true, then Alexander Hamilton is probably the most famous ghostwriter of all times.

A ghostwriter is a writer who writes for hire and upon completion of the work releases all rights to the work. Almost all public figures use ghostwrites to write their memoirs, correspondence and speeches. Many webmasters use ghostwriters to write their articles because they either don’t have the time or talent to keep their site updated with fresh, custom content. In this article we are going to explore the process of hiring a ghostwriter to write those custom articles for your website.

Be prepared. Do not talk with a ghostwriter without knowing what you need. Do you need technical data? Will the articles require in-depth research? How many words do you need? What message do you want the article to convey? Don’t tell the ghostwriter to “write me an article on weight loss” - a subject that has thousands of subtopics and methods. If you don’t know what you want I can assure you the ghostwriter will not please you, no matter how much they charge or how experienced they are. They are writers, not magicians.

Be professional. If you want to hire a freelance writer but you don’t have a clue as to what they charge or how they work you may end up losing your shirt. Hop over to Google and search for “custom articles”, “freelance writers” and “ghost writers” and see what they are charging. Many will post their rates on the Internet. When you see what the “going rate” for ghostwritten articles is you can prepare your budget for the expense. Or, after the research you may decide you can’t afford a ghostwriter.

Ask for a quote. Many times websites will post their rates so you can easily see what the project will cost. At other times you may need to ask for a quotation. Or, perhaps you are posting on one of the freelance sites such as elance.com or getafreelaner.com. As pointed out in Item #1, Be Prepared. Cover the following points in your query or posting:
a. Article length (words)
b. Topics
c. Deadline
d. How much you can pay
e. How you will pay them

Be Specific. What do you want? Believe it or not there is a difference in “content articles” for your visitors to read and “keyword articles” written to improve your SEO (search engine optimization). Maybe you want both. If so, does the ghostwriter have experience in people-pleasing articles that will also please the search engines and boost your ranking?

Don’t forget your bottom line. Don’t overpay for your articles. Keep good records of income vs. expenditures and keep in mind that the reason you are hiring a ghostwriter to write those custom articles for your website is to increase the traffic, hence the profits, to your website.

When starting a website most people think get bogged down with content creation. Where do you find articles? Should you use free content from article directories? Should you write your own, or hire a ghostwriter? Should you use private label articles? The questions abound.

Following we will explore several options for obtaining content for your website:

1. Do it yourself: If you have the time and simply cannot stand the thoughts of outsourcing your content creation to someone else, then by all means, pull out your research books and get cracking. All it takes is time and talent to churn out an article every hour. If you work at it eight hours a day you could possibly write 8 - 10 articles. In five days that would be 40 or 50 original articles you could post on your network of sites. Pros: you get to express yourself as no one else can do.
Cons: This is time consuming work!

2. Hire a Ghostwriter: The other option might be more up your alley: outsourcing your content to ghostwriters. You can find ghostwriters who will gladly write for you for as little as $5 (or more) per article. The ghostwriter does all the work and you get the benefit - i.e., you purchase the rights to the article. You may change it, add to it, sell it, publish it and claim authorship to the work just as if you were the writer. The ghostwriter relinquishes all rights to the content when it is sold.
Pros: You get all rights to the content and you can treat it just as if you are the author.
Cons: Price is usually an issue

3. Private Label Articles: Private label membership sites are numerous nowadays. The main reason for their popularity is that you can get content for a fraction of what you will pay to outsource your articles. Yet, while you can get articles “cheap” you will need to spend time re-writing the articles before you can submit them to many of the top quality article directories. And, like it or lump it, some of the article directories will not accept an article they deem to be from a PLR site.

There are also a few sites that offer PLR packages without the need to join and pay a monthly membership fee. They offer PLR article packages in the same manner as the PLR membership sites but do not require you to pay a monthly fee. You may or may not pay a higher price for the articles, depending on the site. One key difference in a site offering private label articles without the necessity paying a monthly fee is that the articles sold on these sites are usually limited to 50 to 100 people whereas a membership site will have from 200 to 1000 people downloading the same articles.
Pros: these articles are very cheap to purchase
Cons: The articles will have to be re-written, quality is sometimes poor, article directories will not accept them unless substantially re-written

4. Free Articles from Article Directories: Sites such as eZineArticles, com, GoArticles.com and ArticleDashboard.com (and a host of others) offer the webmaster the use of any article on their site so long as the resource box is published with the article. These articles are free to the publisher.

How can they do this? Well, actually, the axiom “there ain’t no such thing as a free lunch” is true in this case because the articles are not really free. It’s called “advertising”; and the webmaster who publishes the articles is actually paying for the use of that article through advertising. You may use this article you are reading in the same manner. If you post it on your site I don’t charge you a cent - but I get paid by the traffic you send me through the link in my resource box.
Pros: Free to use and can be utilized immediately
Cons: You are advertising for another site and sending traffic to them.

As you can see there are a few options for obtaining content for your website. Only you can decide if the pros outweigh the cons.
