a primeira vez que seus lábios haviam se encontrado e ela sentia um misto de sensação que nunca havia conhecido. fora de fato seu primeiro beijo?

quisera ela nunca ter experimentado outro beijo antes, quisera ela nunca ter encontrado outros lábios, mas antes, nenhum outro beijo lhe fizera sentir tudo aquilo, na verdade, nenhum outro beijo lhe fizera sentir coisa alguma.

ela não sabia o que fazer, almejara aquilo a vida inteira, tanto quanto fugia disso, e agora que de fato conseguira, só imaginava ser sonho, sonho do qual não sabia como sair, nem se queria de fato acordar.

inúmeras perguntas surgiam em sua cabeça, o que vai acontecer agora? o que eu vou fazer? será que de fato sou o que sempre soube e fingia não ser?

com um salto e uma queda direto ao chão, o beijo por fim acabara, ela gaguejava, pigarreava, não sabia o que dizer ou fazer, não sabia o que ser ou onde estar, apenas tremia e tentava encontrar palavras, a outra sorria e dizia 'você deveria estar em casa essa hora', 'err, eu já vou indo' disse ela e saiu quase que cambaleando e sem acreditar no que acabara de acontecer.

caminhar é bom e ela seguiu o caminho mais longo para casa, assim teria mais tempo para pensar; pensar, era o que ela mais fazia, era a única coisa que ela fazia, todo o tempo, por tudo e qualquer coisa, lembrava o que havia acontecido e não entendia de certa forma.

ficava o tempo todo a se perguntar, por que havia sentido tudo aquilo, e principalmente, por que não havia sentido aquilo antes, ela achava ter gostado dos garotos que havia se envolvido antes, por mais que o tratasse com desdém, achava que um dia algum seria importante, mas no fundo sabia que nunca foram,que nunca seriam.

nunca imaginou que beijar uma garota mudaria tanto sua vida, na verdade, nunca imaginou que beijar uma garota a faria de fato ter vida, sair do personagem que havia montado por toda uma existência.

ela agora sentia-se livre para ser de fato ela, sentia-se livre e destemida, não queria mais oprimir seus sentimentos e vontades.

não ela não gostava da garota, fato, sequer sentia-se atraída por ela, e quando foi abordada e se deu conta que já estava envolvida num beijo, percebeu que de fato nunca havia beijado.

nenhum outro beijo havia feito ela queimar por dentro e suar frio, tremer ou arrepiar-se.

por fim havia chegado em casa, descalçou o tênis, tomou um copo de suco, tomou um longo banho e continuou a pensar, lavou os cabelos, escovou os dentes, por fim olhou-se no espelho, deu um sorriso bobo, a final, havia beijado uma garota, vestiu uma samba-canção de seda, vermelha com uns desenhos do 'taz', pôs uma camiseta folgada, deitou-se e ali ficou por um longo tempo, não conseguia dormir. como poderia dormir?

havia beijado uma garota. uma garota, uma garota, uma garota.

estas palavras ecoavam em seu pensamento, em sua cabeça, nas paredes do seu quarto.

uma garota.

Clearly, to girls these days, relationship isn't everything. But in a larger scale, relationship still spins our lives. Whether you are looking for a fling, a serious affair, a friend with benefits etc., our hearts long to be loved. Whether that person is THE ONE or not, we hope to always have SOMEONE there. Regardless your attitutes towards relationship, ultimately, we seek companionship. We all, afraid of loneliness. It could be that spur of the moments, the thought crosses your mind. I was told for my entire life that don't try so hard, it will come around at the right time. I've been desperately holding onto these words, with great anticipation, expecting to see the light at any moment. So far, years have passed, I am still struggling in the darkness and the glimpse of light that flashed before my eyes faded quickly.

I think that could sum up my love life in the past, constant struggle, and glimpse of lights occasionally. Sad, isn't it? Am I alone in this situation? Perhaps not.  You would think that I set my standard too high. No dear, not only have I lowered my standard as years rolled around, I have lowered myself to pursue men. Gradually, I'm entering into self-condemnation, blaming myself on my never-successful love life. My request is rather simple, I want to love and be loved, even just once. My grandma told me once, you will never know what love is until you truly love someone. I believe her, I would never be able to fully comprehend that love without pouring my heart out for another being besides family and friends. Maybe it's too early to say commitment, but loving and adoring someone for the rest of my life is such an amazing concept to me.  Never growing tired, never giving up, never turning away, never looking else, but constantly loving, how wonderful would that be?!

Where are you, my happiness? my joy? and my eternal sunshine?

A long time ago, a girl named Li-Li got married and went to live with her husband and mother-in-law.

In a very short time, Li-Li found that she couldn't get along with her mother-in-law at all.

Their personalities were very different, and Li-Li was angered by many of her mother-in-law's

habits. In addition, she criticized Li-Li constantly.

Days passed days, and weeks passed weeks. Li-Li and her mother-in-law never stopped arguing

and fighting. But what made the situation even worse was that, according to ancient Chinese

tradition, Li-Li had to bow to her mother-in-law and obey her every wish. All the anger and

unhappiness in the house was causing the poor husband great distress. Finally, Li-Li could not

stand her mother-in-law's bad temper and dictatorship any longer, and she decided to do

something about it. Li-Li went to see her father's good friend, Mr. Huang, who sold herbs. She told

him the situation and asked if he would give her some poison so that she could solve the problem

once and for all.

Mr. Huang thought for awhile, and finally said, Li-Li, I will help you solve your problem, but you

must listen to me and obey what I tell you.

Li-Li said, "Yes, Mr. Huang, I will do whatever you tell me to do."

Mr. Huang went into the back room, and returned in a few minutes with a package of herbs. He told

Li-Li, "You can't use a quick-acting poison to get rid of your mother-in-law, because that would

cause people to become suspicious. Therefore, I have given you a number of herbs that will slowly

build up poison in her body. Every other day prepare some pork or chicken and put a little of these

herbs in her serving. Now, in order to make sure that nobody suspects you when she dies, you

must be very careful to act very friendly towards her.

Don't argue with her, obey her every wish, and treat her like a queen."

Li-Li was so happy. She thanked Mr. Huang and hurried home to start her plot of murdering her

mother-in-law.

Weeks went by, and months went by, and every other day, Li-Li served the specially treated food to

her mother-in-law. She remembered what Mr. Huang had said about avoiding suspicion, so she

controlled her temper, obeyed her mother-in-law, and treated her like her own mother. After six

months had passed, the whole household had changed. Li-Li had practiced controlling her temper

so much that she found that she almost never got mad or upset.

She hadn't had an argument in six months with her mother-in-law, who now seemed much kinder

and easier to get along with.

The mother-in-law's attitude toward Li-Li changed, and she began to love Li-Li like her own

daughter. She kept telling friends and relatives that Li-Li was the best daughter-in-law one could

ever find. Li-Li and her mother-in-law were now treating each other like a real mother and

daughter. Li-Li's husband was very happy to see what was happening.

One day, Li-Li came to see Mr. Huang and asked for his help again. She said, "Dear Mr. Huang,

please help me to keep the poison from killing my mother-in-law! She's changed into such a nice

woman, and I love her like my own mother. I do not want her to die because of the poison I gave

her."

Mr. Huang smiled and nodded his head. "Li-Li, there's nothing to worry about. I never gave you any

poison. The herbs I gave you were vitamins to improve her health. The only poison was in your

mind and your attitude toward her, but that has been all washed away by the love which you gave

to her."
