Una delle più importanti novità del Rimini Wellness di questo anno sarà il Musical. Saranno, infatti, ospiti dell'evento alcuni attori dello Student's Live di Broadway.

Abbiamo in serbo per tutti i ragazzi e operatori delle scuole superiori, scuole di danza e teatro, una full immersion di 5 ore nel mondo del musical per imparare a recitare, ballare e cantare con gli attori di Broadway!

Il programma prevede dei mini stage di 30 minuti ciascuno e al termine del Workshop verrà inoltre rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione di Student Live!

L'appuntamento per un'immersione di puro spettacolo è per il 16 maggio, alle 13,00, al PAD.D3

Katie Holmes sarebbe infatti stanca delle manie di controllo del marito Tom Cruise, che la costringe a vivere in una prigione dorata.

Avrebbe accettato quindi la proposta di partecipare ad un remake di All my sons di Arthur Miller a Brodway, in modo da trasferirsi a Manhattan e allontanarsi per un periodo da Tom. 

Portandosi con sè la figlia ovviamente.

Una fonte però afferma che "lei ha un bisogno disperato di starsene per i fatti suoi per un po', ma è impossibile che Tom la lasci andare, soprattutto se si porta Suri con sè. Non lo permetterebbe. Ha già detto che se lei vuole trasferirsi a New York bene, ma lui si trasferirà con lei."

Aveva 93 anni ma il suo volto era ancora fra i più cattivi del cinema di Hollywood.
Si è spento, infatti, il 24 marzo, Richard Widmark, a Roxbury, Connecticut, dopo una lunga malattia.
Originario del Minnesota, completa gli studi di arte drammatica a Chicago e raggiunge il successo a New York, a Brodway, dove esordisce nel 1943 con Kiss And Tell.
Ma solo il grande salto nel campo cinematografico gli fa raggiungere la più grande fama. Già con il suo primo film, nel 1947, riceve una nomination agli Oscar e vince un Golden Globe come miglior attore non protagonista. Il Bacio Della Morte rimane, ancora oggi, un classico del cinema mondiale nonché il punto di partenza per la grande carriera dell'attore: celebre è la scena in cui Widmark spinge giù dalle scale una vecchia paralitica, ridendo e immedesimandosi, perfettamente, nella sua parte di assassino.
Le pellicole a cui Widmark partecipa superano la cinquantina e contano anche la collaborazione con grandi registi e attori del cinema statunitense.
La duttilità dell'attore nel muoversi fra diversi generi cinematografici, conferma la sua grande capacità di interprete, sempre migliorata negli anni, anche in qualità di docente di recitazione. Conosciuto per le parti assunte nei thriller e nei noir, il genere in cui più ha lavorato è il western: celebre è la sua partecipazione in Alamo di John Wayne.
Pur interpretando sempre la parte del cattivo, Widmark, nella vita quotidiana, era tutt'altro che violento. Importante è stato, infatti, il suo impegno nel promuovere delle leggi più severe per il controllo delle armi negli Stati Uniti.

La conclusión es que lo in de Orlando es acudir a los lugares con música en vivo y sólo en los momentos de descanso de la banda se escucha sonido ambiental: desde música disco hasta los éxitos del momento de Amy Winehouse, pasando por los clásicos: REM, U2 y Queen.

Los precios van en ascenso siempre, el gasto promedio en un bar es de 70 dólares por persona; en un restaurante de mediana categoría es de 90 y en uno de lujo, ideal para lunamieleros, la cuenta puede superar los 300 dólares por persona.

Uno de esos sitios para una noche romántica es el Manuel’s on the 28th, localizado en el centro financiero de Orlando, con una carta de cocina fusión y ubicado en un piso 28, la mejor vista de la ciudad.

Wednesday was to have been the New York premiere of "The Farnsworth Invention," the eagerly anticipated return to Broadway of playwright Aaron Sorkin, the creator of such television shows as "The West Wing" and "Sports Night."

Instead, the Music Box Theatre, one of Broadway's most elegant playhouses, sits dark along with 26 other theaters as Local 1, the stagehands union, and the League of American Theatres and Producers remain deadlocked in the fifth day of an acrimonious contract dispute.

Neither side is talking to the other. Silent pickets stand in front of locked theater lobbies. Other unions, including Actors' Equity and the musicians' local, have lined up in support of the stagehands. Even Broadway press agents, instructed by their own union to honor Local 1's picket line, are silent.

"The Farnsworth Invention," Sorkin's look at the birth of television starring Hank Azaria, wasn't the only opening scheduled this week. "The Seafarer" by Irish playwright Conor McPherson had been set for Thursday. It, too, is shut, and its opening uncertain.

McPherson, author of "The Weir" and "Shining City," says the challenge now is to psychologically stay ready even though the actors aren't allowed to rehearse at the theater. "We'll be doing our best to sort of get together and talk about it and keep our chin up," he said.

Previews, which began in late October, stopped after last Friday's performance.

"I'm confident that if we get a chance to open, it should be all right," the playwright said. "We'll just keep our fingers crossed and pray pray that the testosterone levels drop on both sides of the strike and see how it goes."

"August: Osage County" imported from Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, had an opening planned for next Tuesday. But the play by Tracy Letts also went dark in mid-previews, and its producers have offered to fly the Chicago actors home for the duration of the walkout.

In a gesture of support, Second Stage Theatre has offered a little bit of off-Broadway hospitality to the Steppenwolf actors. Carole Rothman, its artistic director, has set aside 15 tickets for the Wednesday matinee performance of "Edward Albee's Peter and Jerry" for the Chicago performers who remain here.

The contract dispute has focused on how many stagehands are required to open a show and keep it running. That means moving scenery, lights, sound systems and props into the theater; installing the set and making sure it works; and keeping everything functioning well for the life of the production.

The existing contract requires theaters to use at least four stagehands for plays: a carpenter, a property master, an electrician and a fourth, either a sound technician, a fly man or a second stagehand. A musical also requires four stagehands, and a fly man is mandatory. This is the person in charge of scenery, props and other things that move up or down, or from offstage for example, the "bubble" that transports Glinda in the musical "Wicked." The fly man also raises and lowers the curtain.

The league wants to have flexibility in how many stagehands are hired for shows, and does not want to use four if all are not needed.

The union also has cost of living and pension concerns. The annual salary for stagehands ranges from $67,500 to $88,500, according to the union, which would not disclose what increases it seeks.
