Aunque sea algo tarde.

One of my dear friends is expecting her first baby this February. Recently, we were discussing the various baby products and what was really necessary. There are so many fun products out there... but honestly, do we really need so much stuff?

My Five Favorite Baby Products are:

Nursing Cover: This cover makes nursing in public so much easier. This cover makes it impossible for your young baby to take the cover off with their arms or legs. A MUST HAVE!

Grocery Cart Cover: Germs? Do I really want my toddler touching the grocery cart and then sticking those fingers in his mouth? No, I think we want to avoid getting sick this winter.

Diaper Bag: Maybe if I spontaneously grew fifty more arms this wouldn't be a necessity.

Car Seat Cover: Essential to keep your baby warm during the cold winter months.

Bibs and Blankets: You can never have enough of these... especially if your baby is a spitty upy baby.

ohhh... and you simply can not forget the super handy Pee-Pee TeePee for baby boys.

Your body and golf operate together, its crucial to realise your body’s limitations otherwise

Your body and golf operate together, its crucial to realise your body's limitations otherwise you will not better your performance. You should workout regularly, remembering to practise on your golf game as well or you will not improve, even though your body will still be able to make a good golf stroke.

Its vital to remember that your body is a golf machine Your body recognises and interprets your golfing ability! You should keep working on your natural ability, only after a while, aging kicks in and you lose strength, flexibility, coordination, stability and a great deal more. When this happens, your game starts to weaken.

One method of stopping this is to maintain your fitness and health and never quit practicing. Practicing in groups is better than practicing on your own so invite a couple of your buddy's to join you.

You must understand the limitations of your body thereafter your game will improve, you will discover you can make a better, more powerful swing, but with more precision and accuracy. The final result is a huge decrease in marks and mix hit, and a huge improvement in distance and accuracy. Also make sure you are comfortable in your golf shoes and with your golf clubs. Also try to use a golf cart if you can get access to one.

You are a golfing pro and all pro's train their body's in alignment with the sport they play You need to follow suite. The more you focus on the physical demands the swing puts on your physical structure, the more you will be able see the importance of golf training like in any other sport. If you are competitive with yourself on the course, you should want to make changes that will quickly improve your game. You must start thinking like a high-level golfing pro.

Exercise often to build up your stamina and you will see and feel the difference in your golf game.

This is a message out to my potential employers, the Deaf and HOH, that is. I am an experienced CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) provider.

I got a trial membership of GoToMeeting and it seemed to work well. Would you be interested in trying CART yourself? You would have to have someone set up the audio for you. A cell phone call to me is what I was thinking would be the most popular option. I would listen and transcribe what I hear. You would go to JoinGoToMeeting.com and type in the ID I give you (we would probably use e-mail.) You would need that cell phone and also an Internet connection for the length of the job. I would like to get some experience doing this and I am hope to be an ombudsman for CART and find some work for myself as well.

It is always good to give the CART provider an idea of the subject matter to be covered. E-ma il proper names, especially people and places, that might come up. And if you add a quick explanation of what's going on -- not to violate your privacy -- but with the Internet it is easy to do the research to find vocabulary words that fit your situation and enter the words into the CART software beforehand. This way, through communication between the CART client and the CART provider, the readability is improved.

Also, where someone is going to test in the classroom, permissions from the school and teacher would have to be obtained. Not to mention cooperation!

Yesterday at River Spirit was really fun. We managed to play with two members, Lyle and Jan. Lyle had a single digit handicap but because he was social, he couldn't focus on his game. Overall, it was good company and sunny skies.

Lyle was the kind of member that wants to see improvements such as additional paving, especially in the parking lot. Not everybody drives a SUV so it's really rough on the tires on our BMW's. He also wants more signage to discourage people in carts to drive too close to the green. He wants more marshals to monitor the players, especially the ones that drink too much. Incidently, some bozo's drove their cart onto the sixth green last Friday and made donuts. The grounds crew repaired it well because we couldn't see any damage.

I can see improvements already. For instance, there are new stairs on hole # 7 on the Millburn course. Gone is the landscape material that served as the black carpet to the tee boxes. And the driving range uses a ball dispenser. VIP members used to help themselves to the free range balls but not anymore.

Btw, the pro shop is clearing apparel at 30% - 50% off.

Most, but not all. One pair of soccer fans traveled there in a horse-drawn cart.

With plenty of green grass available, their ride home was probably the only one re-fueling while its owners watched a game.

I just want to share with everyone about this particular dolly, cart, trolley, whatever you want to

I just want to share with everyone about this particular dolly, cart, trolley, whatever you want to call it. All I can say, is that this multi-cart also known as rocknroller has been a lifesaver as well as a backsaver. I use this multi-cart practically for everything that's too heavy to carry or transport. I use this often when I transport a case or cases of wine to The Wine Hotel.

I've also used this cart to haul even a 40" television. It's pneumatic wheels make it very easy to maneuver. I also like the fact that you can fold this cart neatly for storage. It comes assembled when you purchase it. I can tell you that everyone who has seen my multi-cart always ask where I got it. It comes in 5 different models. The one I have is the R10 (Max) model. It was on sale for $150 when I purchased it @ Guitar Center .

If you often move a lot of sh!t (stuff), then I know you will find this multi-cart a true handyman.

>>> Sep 18, 2008

I used this "handyman" again yesterday. I'm telling you this is such a savior. It's what you call "Git It Done" handyman. :)

There are a few courses that require you to take a cart. Wintergreen for one, includes the cart for $45. Range time is also included but you can't take your driver out because the range only allows irons. They also have a chipping range with unlimited range balls.

Another course with an included cart is the Canals at Delacour. For $36, golf and power cart is included for VIP members. The only problem is that no range balls are included.

Close behind is Speargrass where for $35 in the weekdays and $40 for the weekends, golf and power cart is included.

Closer to the city is Sirocco. For $45, you get golf and a power cart. But for us who work, it's almost impossible to finish a round after 3pm on Thursday and Friday.

Last but not least, Heritage Pointe for $90 includes green fees and cart. Everywhere else, a cart may be required but it is extra expense to you.

If you're in the market for some demo equipment, head down to River's Edge Golf Club because they are clearing golf equipment at 40% off. Since you're there, you might as well get some new golf shirts and play a round too.

We stayed for a 8 oz NY Striploin last night for $13. With the steak, you get onion rings and a salad. That's a pretty hardy meal after a round at River's Edge. If steak is not your liking, you can have lasagna, fajitas or beer battered fish and chips for less than $15 each. That's pretty reasonable for dinner.

Today, we played Silverwing from the blue tees. It's a great deal with VIP because you get a $10 food voucher. The only thing that I disagree with is that the cart is mandatory for VIP members. That sucks considering the course is fully walkable. Public players get to walk so why not us? Anyways, with the $10 food voucher, you can either pick up a drink and hot dog at the turn or stay for a bowl of chili or get the Silverwings Jumbo variety after your round.

The proshop needs more equipment to sell. Logo hats are now on sale for $19.95 and clothing is at regular prices. I will let you know who is selling off their summer apparel and equipment in the upcoming blogs.
