Launched in late December 2007, the story follows Sam Thomas, an ex employee of Oceanic airlines, who tries to track what happened to the doomed flight, as his girlfriend Sonya was on board the flight as a steward.

So far, Sam has recieved e-mails alluding to a mysterious Maxwell Group, which were later to have found connections to the Widmore Corperation, a big company in the Lost mythology! In addition, these e-mails have led Sam on board the Christiane I, whose mission may be to locate the Black Rock, a slave ship marooned on the Island unknown to the characters of course.

Sam has had disagreements on board the Christiane with a man named Oscar Talbot, an employee of the Maxwell Group and an altogether shady character.

Ora inizia il vero e proprio secondo capitolo, con un video che vede Sam salire sulla famosa Christiane I e dove discute con un tecnico che gli dice che sulla nave sono al completo e lui non può salpare con loro. Intanto, si guasta un dispositivo GPS e il tecnico avverte un certo Signor Talbot (stesso cognome del ragazzo che aveva fatto visita a John nella 3x13) che la partenza dovrà essere rimandata.

Tuttavia, interviene Sam che si propone di aggiustare il GPS
