1994 auf Bellaforte Records erschienener Sampler mit Sindelfinger/ Böblinger Bands, auf dem Wizo als Opener eine Coverversion des Errol Dunkley-Smashers "Ok Fred" beisteuerten. Mit über die Bands C.M.F (Confused Mind Fuckers) und From outer space sind auf dem Sampler mit Ingo und Herrn Guhl zwei damals noch zukünftige Wizo-Mitglieder vertreten.

Не трудно понять, что ERP системы удачно вписываются в данную перспективу развития технологий, вне зависимости возложена ответственность за интеграцию на CIO или на CWO. Но внедрение ERP системы также создаёт огромный поток знаний, который необходимо сохранить для дальнейшего эффективного использования. Осознание этого факта ведёт к созданию структур управления знаниями в ведущих компаниях мира. Опрос 200 директоров из 158 крупных мультинациональных компаний в 2000 году показали, что в 80 % из этих компаний уже ведутся проекты по внедрению процедур управления знаниями, а также многие ввели должность chief knowledge officer (CKO) – исполнительного директора по управлению знаниями или наняли внешних консультантов по управлению знаниями.

Проекты по внедрению систем управления знаниями включают в себя создание так называемого corporate memory facility (CMF) – хранилища корпоративных знаний, в котором регистрируются все решения, а также последствия таких решений. Также часто используются экспертные системы, которые повышают производительность и заменяют старые подходы в программировании и постоянно растущий портфель решений для управления знаниями. Среди них: теория хаоса, случайных (стохастических) процессов, анализ хи-квадрат, критерий гипотезы, и экспериментальное проектирование.

В любом случае каждое решение должно быть интерактивным. Естественно, что с течением времени успешные проекты приведут к неожиданным результатам. К счастью при хорошем управлении «сегодняшние неожиданные повороты» станут частью «завтрашней модели управления».

SAP CRM 6.0 – Market Development Funds (MDF) & Channel Marketing Funds (CMF):

          MDF provides with the flexibility to efficiently manage and distribute Funds. CMF & MDF is provided by Brand Owners (BO) to Channel Partners (CP) in order to execute marketing and allocate funds to groups of products or geo area. These are not sales incentives but more of to develop and expand in target market.

Most used Terminology in MDF prepainting to Partner Management. It is important to understand these relationships and roles.

- Brand Owner – It would be your Company or a contact that has business partners in indirect sales/service to represent sales/service partners
          - for e.g. your company - ABC Inc
- Channel Manager – the Account manager that is in charge of an account (normally a client of ABC Inc) and works under Brand owner
          - Channel Manager = Account Manager – Joe Smith
          - Client of ABC Inc – XYZ Corporation, Boss, LLP
- Channel Partner – is the Client
          - Client – XYZ Corporation
          - Client – Boss LLP
- Partner Manager – External user or an employee of Channel Partner that has the authority to manage Channel partner’s account/users
          - Employee of Channel Partner – Sara Smith
          - Employee of Channel Partner – Viki John
- Partner Employees/Users – external user that has the ability to view and edit information they have authorization to. A claims’ agent can only view claims information or a funds agent can only view information pertaining to funds.
           - Partner employee/User – Claims department – Edi Name
           - Partner Employee/User – Funds Department – Wayne Crane

Business Drivers for CMF are:

Request funded initiatives --> Approve Initiatives Perform initiative --> Claim/requst for reimbursement by channel partner --> proof of performance --> calculate reimbursement --> approve reimbursement --> order to pay by channel manager --> End

These business drivers help to “strengthen partner relationships and gain insight into present funding initiatives” (SAP documentation).

Business Issues with CMF are:

- Processes are slow and costly
- Inability to align expenditures with corporate strategy
- Partner dissatisfaction with slow payments, strict funding requirements that results in rejected claims and limited reporting capabilities to measure ROI of expenditures
- Inability to manage accurate financial reporting therefore unable to ensure SOX compliance.

There are 3 types of MDF Authorizations:

- Access Control Engine (ACE) Authorizations
      - Ensuring Channel partner gets only access to relevant business documents (SAP)
- User Management Transitiono Part of CRM web client user management (super user) capability
- Notes, Attachment
      - Brand Owner (internal user) should be the only one to see this information.  So a special rule needs to be written around it to exclude Channel Partner (external user) and its users from view this information.

Next week I'll write more on the topic of Access Control Engine (ACE), as this would be a great tool to control the authorizations provided to view content and I believe can be used to make our lives easier. The above introduce "most used terminology" will be used while explaining ACE.

Another FAQ- What happens to slum kids when they’re orphaned? Can Americans adopt orphaned Kenyan children from the Hope Schools?

Life is very communal in the slums of Nairobi. When parents pass away, children are often unofficially adopted into the homes of neighbors.

When a child from the Hope School loses a parent, they receive counseling and encouragement from the school staff. If they are left without a capable adult to care for them, a school social worker pursues living options with the child’s extended family, ensuring the child is placed in a caring home.

Americans often wonder whether it’s more advantageous for a Kenyan child to be adopted by a family in the U.S than for them to remain in Kenya.  Kenyan leaders assure us that when possible, it’s best for children to be placed with family members or neighbors. The children have meaningful connections to the people in their lives. It would be traumatic for them to be removed from their familiar environment. Plus, the goal of the Hope School is to raise up native, Christian leaders. They want these Kenyan kids to grow up to make a difference in their homeland. Children involved at the Hope Schools are well taken care of, even when orphaned.

There are several orphanages in Kenya where children are placed when absolutely no other option can be found. These orphanages are not directly affiliated with the Hope Centers, though the leaders from these organizations stay in contact with one another.

British Muslims should participate fully and sincerely in mainstream democratic politics including supporting any of the three mainstream parties. The Conservative Muslim Forum should be warmly congratulated for writing a generally excellent response and showing Muslims what is possible when intelligent, hard working Muslims take the time and effort to stand up for the truth. The Conservative leadership should take heed. The CMF are an asset to you. Without them, Tory credibility amongst most Muslims would be close to zero.

Britain's main opposition Conservative Party has been advised by its Muslim wing to adopt a realistic policy of engaging with Iran rather than scaremongering.

"Regardless of the foreign policies of the United States, hostility to Iran is not in Britain's national interest. A constructive engagement with Iran offers many possibilities for progress," the Conservative Muslim Forum said in a new report.

The Forum was formally responding to a wide-ranging national and international policy paper drawn up in July for the consideration of a future Conservative government in the UK.

Wallace and Mary Kamau are the key Kenyan leaders from Mission of Hope. We’ll probably blog more about them later, but let’s just say that Chris compares Mary to Mother Teresa. They have been distinctly called by God to minister in the Mathare Valley and God is blessing their efforts. Wallace was a CPA with PriceWaterhouse before committing to full time ministry. He’s a key player in the strategic plans for the ministry, the microfinancing efforts and in the purchasing of land and the developing of leaders. Mary is the mastermind behind the Hope Schools- impacting children and empowering local leaders to change the Mathare Valley.

Friends, if you have a chance to take a mission trip to Nairobi, DO IT! You will be blessed by interacting with these leaders. You will be amazed by the ministry they’re leading. And, you’ll be inspired by the difference you can make here. The Hams and Kamaus have told us countless stories of mission trip groups that have literally changed the face of Nairobi. argomenti trattati

Poichè il corso è stato abbastanza intenso, è stato possibile prendere appunti in maniera frammentaria e inaccurata, per cui riproponiamo gli argomenti sotto forma di lista:

introduzione

Poiché la riunione era rivolta ad un gruppo di utenti eterogeneo, la conferenza è iniziata con una copiosa guida all'installazione di Plone ed alla sua struttura;

Plone è una demo

Spesso molte persone non utilizzano il Sistema Zope + Plone perchè si sentono costretti ad usare un CMS con poche personalizzazioni possibili o di grafica abbastanza spartana. In realtà Plone è solo un'istanza particolare di Zope, ma può essere modificata nel profondo. Ovviamente, anche la grafica è modificabile e personalizzabile, è sufficente avere nozioni di HTML/CSS e saper dove andare a scriver codice;

astrazione completa sull'oggetto

Essendo Plone e Zope basati Python, radicato nella sua composizione c'è la possiblità di definire un tipo di oggetto con estrema semplicità e di personalizzarlo in maniera totale, senza nessuna limitazione (se non la dimestichezza con Zope e Python);

permessi

La gestione dei permessi fa decisamente concorrenza ad un sistema operativo moderno. É infatti possibile scegliere i permessi che un determinato gruppo di utenti può avere riguardo ad un tipo di oggetto in maniera atomica, cioè scegliendo in maniera precisa ed esplicita ogni azione possibile;

live search

Il motore di ricerca di Zope, non soltanto esegue un'indicizzazione costante dei contenuti e ha un buon supporto Ajax al momento della digitazione del termine da ricercare (tipo la tollbar di google) ma restituisce i risultati in base allo scope che ha l'utente. Per esempio, se non si è loggati al sito si potranno vedere solo documenti visibili ad utenti anonimi ma non quelli visibili dagli utenti registrati;

zope è transizionale

L'interfaccia di Plone accede al "`File System"' di Zope in maniera transizionale, cioè ogni iterazione è atomica; se l'operazione in corso non va a buon fine c'è un rollback che ripristina lo stato del sistema prima che l'azione avesse inizio;

accesso a documenti non autorizzati

Il sistema di sicurezza (come già visto nel live search) è efficace, poichè non permette ad un utente non autorizzato di vedere il contenuto di un documento. Non solo, il sistema non ne consente la visione nemmeno se egli è in possesso dell'URL di riferimento;

immagini

Poichè in Zope (Python) ogni cosa è un oggetto, le immagini non fanno certo eccezione; nel sistema, infatti, le immagini sono memorizzate con il medesimo formato e qualità del file immagine d'origine. In maniera del tutto automatica, il sistema effettua un resize dell'immagine per renderizzarla su una pagina agevolandone l'accesso (ridurre il carico di dati da spostare, ridurre gli sprechi, presentare una pagina ben formattata senza immagini gigantesche!), ne crea cioè un'anteprima più snella. L'immagine sarà comunque disponibile con un semplice click. Plone supporta di default diverse dimensioni di resize;

ereditarietà nei permessi

Il sistema rispetta l'ereditarietà, una delle principali caratteristiche dei linguaggi OO; applicando questo principio ai contenuti, se un utente può vedere una cartella può vedere automaticamente i file che contiene a meno che tali file non siano a lui vietati, così come se un gruppo acquisisce l'accesso ad un documento, tutti i membri di tale gruppo acquisiranno automaticamente tale diritto;

cercatore

Il cercatore è un particolare tipo di oggetto che viene definito da una ricerca costituita da logiche anche complesse, all'interno del sistema. Ogni volta che un utente richiede la visione di quest'oggetto esso ripresenta in propri contenuti in maniera dinamica;

Autorefresh

Zope ha raramente bisogno di un riavvio, perchè si "accorge" dinamicamente di nuovi tipi di oggetto definiti;

caching di CSS e JS

Il sistema dispone di appositi recipienti in cui inserire i codici CSS e JS necessari al sito. Il sistema restituirà tutto quanto in maniera ottimizzata per le cache dei browser e dei proxy di rete;

caching delle pagine

per quanto riguarda le pagine, Zope permette ai proxy di cachare le pagine statiche ma non quelle dinamiche, ne tanto meno quelle private, per evitare che in rete risiedano copie di pagine protette; è anche possibile configurare la cache per evitare di renderizzare ogni volta una pagina, ammesso che la copia memorizzata sul browser dell'utente sia aggiornata; questa funzionalità deve ancora essere inserita nel Plone 3;

accesso ai db

Fornisce un sistema di gestione della cache direttamente sugli oggetti del db di zope, nel caso in cui il webserver sia diviso su più macchine o nel caso in cui abbiano un database condiviso;

tuning

Esistono extension per ottimizzare le prestazioni del sistema, scaricabili direttamente dal sito ufficiale;

single core

Zope (Python) è un linguaggio di programmazione non multi core ma single core; postilla da ricordare per ottimizzare sistemi multi core;

plone templates

Sono delle pagine prefabbricate che vengono richiamate dal sistema, il cui codice è direttamente modificabile; importante ricordarsi di faro mantenendo gli standard XHTML; è un [HTML] FF1100 linguaggio page replay;

cartella custom

Particolare cartella in cui Zope memorizza le nostre personalizzazioni; esse, in un certo senso, effettuano un override sul sistema. Per ripristinare il sistema è sufficiente cancellarle;

zope come cartella di rete

Si può aver accesso a Plone come cartella di rete tramite il WebDav, permettendo quindi di:

• mostrare tutti gli oggetti della struttura di plone come con il classico stile ad albero, permettendone operazioni lettura-scrittura, ovviamente in base ai permessi che ha l'utente

  
  



• indicizzazione automatica

  
  



• possibilità di mappare una cartella del file sistem all'interno di plone e indicizzarla, con un però perdita di personalizzazione in termini di sicurezza (parametri di sicurezza limitata)
