Two of my favorite things, bud and music, together in one package? This is some shit. I know this is a hard to find album so here you go, some really good shit on this. This was put out by High Times, so you can be assured all the songs have a high THC content haha. The cover art is sick! All these songs are really good, most I hadn't heard before. The Black Moon, Hom, and Ripshop tracks are my favorites personally.

I'm not sure who is dumb enough to pass up $25,000.00 at a time like this. Have you seen gas prices lately?

It has been nearly 5 years since Steve Bartman's incident at Wrigley field, but apparently Bartman still feels his life is in danger. Bartman has decided to turn down the offer of $25,000 to autograph the infamous photo at The Nationals on July 31st. His family representative says, "It's just another shameless commercial stunt". Even if it is, the money that the autographed photo would have sold for would have been given to a Chicago based charity. The autograph was estimated to have been sold for $100,000.00.

Bartman, who has kept low profile since that fateful day, once turned down an offer "well into six figures" to simply appear in a Super Bowl commercial.

Well, I know that most people have moved on since he ruined the game for the Cubs, but I know people will now hate him again for being a coward.

Way to go, Steve.

Oris Watches - A Review Of The BC3

Oris watches are very affordable, beautiful Swiss watches. They feature mechanical movements - some with automatic winding - with a trademark red rotating red rotor. The range of Big Crown watches is a particular favorite of mine and, while I was initially drawn to the Big Crown with Pointer Date collection, I've now shifted to the more modern styling of the BC3 collection.

I had my heart set on the Big Crown with Pointer Date. I wanted a large watch with a black face and black leather strap and this Oris watch seemed to fit the bill, in terms of price and design. There is a choice of case size but, to my mind, the large crown is best complemented by a large case. I liked the largest case in the collection - 40mm model reference. Oris is well known for its pointer date watches and I really liked the red-tipped horseshoe shaped pointer. I loved the simple Arabic numerals at each hour mark and the day numbers on the outer rim.

However, there is one feature I don't like, and that is the hour and minute arms. They seem slightly too ornate. By this I mean, the minute hand has straight sides that taper out slightly before forming a wedge at the top; this wedge is then topped with a slim needle-like pointer. The hour hand is smaller and features straight, slightly outwardly tapered sides that then change into an oval shape that is topped with another needle-like pointer. The overall look of the watch is very nice but I just would prefer simpler hands.

This brings me to the Oris BC3 - the 3 stands for third generation of pilot's watches. This collection is unequivocally modern in design. There are currently two models in the collection; each comes with a matt stainless steel casing, black dial and either a black rubber strap or stainless steel bracelet. Both models come with a day aperture at the 12 o'clock position and a date aperture at the 6 o'clock position.

There are two sizes of case; 40 or 42mm. The shape of the casing is the same for both, with a slightly raised though flat bezel - the Pointer Date watch comes with a fluted bezel. I really like the simpler lines of the case and bezel of the BC3. The simplicity of design is carried through on to the dial. Both the hour and minute arms are the same in design - with the hour being shorter. They are simple straight, thickish and end in 'long' wedges.

The design of the dial differs slightly on the two models. While both have Arabic numerals at each hour, one watch has a small luminescent dot above the numeral (with two above the 12), whereas the other, features dashes (rectangles) above the numerals with two appearing above the 12. My preference is for the dashes, as they better complement the straight, plain arms and general smooth-edge design of the watch.

If you're a lover of big crown, big watches then the big crown collections of Oris watches will certainly appeal. The Big Crown with Pointer Date will be for those who like a more traditionally style of watch but for those like me who want a more contemporary looking watch the Oris BC3 will be the first choice.

For God's Sake have you ever seen anything as cheap and trashy as Paris' new Dollhouse collection? Dollhouse!? Try Whorehouse, Doll-hoes, Damn-Couze!

Paris Hilton is a whore. That sounds harsh but heck, even Google knows it.

Paris has combined her extreme celebrity, pots of money and poor taste to create what has to be one of the tackiest clothing lines I have ever laid eyes on. The clothes bring to mind the parity of the classic trailer trash skank, Lucy DeCoutere from the Trailer Park Boys. Need I say more.

The line is an ode to bad taste and self obsession. The hot pants, in animal prints, are simply disturbing but it is Pari's rather plain and vacuous face, plastered on cheap T's that bring bile to my throat. My favourite T-shirt is the one where her glasses are strategically placed to give every pig-man on the planet a reason to "make eye contact". I reminds me of an old Saturday Night Live sketch, "Their Eyes Were On Their Breasts!" with Kirstie Alley. She played a highly evolved alien who's eye balls have miraculously moved to her breasts because that is where every man was looking anyway.

Steve Bartman: 2008's Most Sought After Autograph?

I am almost positive each and every one of you know who Steve Bartman is, but in case you were living under a rock back in 2003, Steve Bartman is a Cubs fan who had all eyes on him on October 14th when he attempted to catch a foul ball during plays offs against the Florida Marlins. It was the eigth inning, Mark Prior was pitching a three hit shut out for the Cubs. The Florida Marlins had Juan Pierre on second and Luis Castillo was up to bat. The Cubs were winning the game, 3-0, leading the series 3 games to 2. The Cubs were merely 5 outs away from getting to the World Series since 1945 and were simply 5 outs away from attempting to win a World Series since 1908.

Bartman was sitting in front row along the left field wall behind the bullpen when a foul ball popped off of Castillo's bat drifted over to him. Moises Alou ran over in an attempt to catch the ball. He lept and reached into the seating area in hopes to make the catch, but instead all he grabbed was air, for Bartman had his eye on the ball and didn't notice the fielder.

Steve Bartman became a walking target in Chicago after that. Within minutes, his personal information was posted in the MLB message boards and received harrassing phone calls which led to police protection and his eventual move from Chicago to an undisclosed location.

Now, nearly 5 years later, after all has been forgotten (supposedly), a sports collectors website, SportsBuy.com, has offered Steve Bartman $25,000.00 to appear at the National Sports Collector's Convention in Chicago, IL on July 31st at 1:00pm central time, prove that he is the real Steve Bartman and "not just some earphone wearing imposter", and autograph the infamous photograph taken on that fateful day back in 2003. If Bartman does agree to attend the convention, SportsBuy.com has stated that the autograph will be auctioned off and all proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

Will Steve Bartman come out of hiding to claim his $25,000.00? I certainly would.

1,600 queue up outside Funan IT mall in the bid to collect their free lap-tops ....freebies for signing up with our local Internet Service Providers . With only 1,100 laptops available, 500 made a wasted trip and had to settle for going down to collect 3 weeks later or have it delivered to their homes for free......

With the new Comex Fair coming end of August, and with local internet service Providers giving away great freebies...will it be another case of a long fruitless wait. Mind you, the crowds at the fairs are not short. You have to wait in line for hours just to register ...... and you have to wait for a couple more days or even weeks before you can collect them...... it makes even more unbearable if you have to jostle with another thousand people to collect your free laptop...... I realised that just across the causeway...there are no such freebies for signing up internet plans..... you even have to RENT the modem from the Internet Service Provider ( ISP ), and let's not even talk about the Broadband speeds.

I guess maybe we are too pampered as a nation. We need to be enticed like little kids with Candies before we do something.... a reward some will say. Why should I Sign up with this ISP and not another? The competition for new subscribers continue while they fight to retain existing ones........ Personally, I was hoping to get a "freebie" laptop at the Comex..... call me cheapo or whatever you want but if you do your maths, subtract away the cost of the laptop and you basically only pay around 20 bucks a month. Than again there is the whole fighting thru the crowd to claim your "prize" menatlity going on,so in a dilemma I am. Guess I would have to go to the fair early on day 1 to get in and out ASAP .

Than again,all this would not have been an issue if the ISP would just give out these freebies on a more regular basis instead of waiting for the PC shows itself.

Shall remember to get some body armour and kneepads for the perilous journey to claim my ultimate prize..... a free laptop...lolx
