Early life:

Oguri Shun is a Japanese actor. He was born on December 26, 1982 in Tokyo, Japan and was raised in a family of five, including himself, his parents and two older siblings, one brother and one sister, making Shun the youngest in his family. Shun made his way into the acting industry not because he knew he had a great talent for it (though, of course, it’s clear he does!) and not because he was pursuing a passion of his, but because he was an avid admirer of Uchida Yuki, a Japanese actress. He loved her acting and was a very big fan of hers, and because he wanted to meet her, he joined theater and acting classes. He admits he didn’t really like theater or the acting classes, but somehow, his ambition to meet his idol and the pretty girls in his class kept on driving him. Now, Shun says acting is his life and wouldn’t want it any other way.

Career:

His first debut role was as the bullied and abused child from the drama Great Teacher Onizuka in 1998, when he was about sixteen years old. His acting attracted him great attention and from there, he moved onto bigger roles. His breakthrough role is arguably Hanazawa Rui from Hana Yori Dango, though his first lead role in a drama was as the famous Detective Conan from the classic manga series of the same name. Shun has more than enough talent for lead roles, but he has stated that he actually prefers playing the supporting roles. Besides acting he is also a DJ. He is hosting a radio show called ALL NIGHT NIPPON . Impressive actor with a wide range of roles. From a deaf guy in Summer Snow to a cool guy in Gokusen and to a desperate virgin in Stand UP!! Hana Yori Dango as cool Hanazawa Rui, Gokusen as gangsta-wannabe Uchi.He is also good even as a supporting character or in minor roles. A very talented young actor…very versatile too…he has done many different characters…with his experience…he will surely have many more dramas, plays & movies to come.

Personal life:

When you ask Shun who his best friend is, he will automatically respond with Tsukamoto Takashi (塚本高史). Takashi is an actor, a model and a singer. Shun and Takashi have acted together in a drama—Stand Up!!. Takashi was a popular womanizer while Shun’s character, Kouji, and his friends tried to pick up advice and hints from the super idol so they could get a girlfriend themselves. Shun and Takashi have also modeled together in a yaoi magazine once.

Shun’s first widely publicized girlfriend was Yaguchi Mari. She is most famous for being a part of the popular idol group Morning Musume and the subgroup Mini Moni. She was the official leder in January 2005 but she quit the group in April of the same year, making her the only member of Morning Musume to never properly graduate (Morning Musume members graduate or leave the group after a couple years and are replaced with new members so that the group always maintains their cute, young look). She is still somewhat part of the Hello!Project, appearing on their TV shows, and recently sung at their concerts. She is known for being very short (4’9”), which greatly contrasts Shun’s height (6ft). On April 10th, 2005, she and Oguri Shun’s relationship was uncovered by the paparazzi. Shun and Mari had been dating for a year already until then. She quit Morning Musume fifteen days after the paparazzi incident, stating that she didn’t deserve to be the leader of Morning Musume. Several newspaper accounts note Oguri Shun for being a gentlemen throughout the whole ordeal and realizing how much his girlfriend had to give up to be with him. The two broke up in April of 2006. The reason they told the public was because they both became too busy to see one another.

As of August 2006, it has been reported that Shun and Tanaka Miho are going out, although both parties have declined commenting on the matter. Tanaka Miho is a model, and has modeled for magazines such as Seventeen, Mina and Non-No. The two supposedly met early in the summer when they both modeled for Mina magazine, and found that they have a common interest—surfing.

Actor Oguri Shun finally admits that he is indeed dating actress Yamada Yu.In his late night radio show "All Night Nippon" broadcasted May 8th, Oguri said on air "For me, she is my very important girlfriend". The newspaper report came out earlier, also on May 8th. Oguri further says in his show "I bought 10 copies of the newspaper, and I want to hand them out to everyone."  Oguri and Yamada previously worked together in the Japanese dub of "Surf's Up" and series "Binbo Danshi"

Qué menos que comenzar este repaso por el que lanzó el género a la fama: LUPIN III. Su protagonista homónimo era ni más ni menos que el nieto de Arsène Lupin, ladrón de guante blanco creado por el novelista francés Maurice Leblanc, que vendría a ser una versión antagónica y equivalente de Sherlock Holmes para la literatura francesa (Arthur Conan Doyle desarrolló el personaje en la misma época). Como no, en el manga veíamos como Lupin III viajaba por el mundo robando todo lo que podía con su banda, compuesta por el pistolero Daisuke, el samurai Goemon (descendiente de Ishikawa Goemon, un Robin Hood japonés en su versión ninja) y la ladrona Fujiko.

La contrapartida la ponía el inspector Zenigata, cuya máxima aspiración era capturar a Lupin (o más bien perseguirlo, llegando a alegrarse de sus fugas porque significaban que su juego de gato y ratón podía continuar). Lo más destacado de la serie era su sentido del humor y su dibujo americanizado, que recordaba a los autores de novela negra de los USA.

En 1994 aparece Detective Conan, la historia del investigador de 17 años Shinichi Kudo que, debido a la ingestión de una extraña droga preparada para matarle, se convierte en un niño de 7 años con todas sus facultades mentales intactas. Tras este incidente y gracias a la ayuda del profesor Agasa (científico multiusos generador de patentes), crea un grupo de detectives bajo la identidad de Conan Edogawa junto a sus nuevos compañeros de clase Ayumi, Gente y Mitsuhiko con la esperanza de encontrar pistas que lo conduzcan a encontrar a una cura.

A partir de este planteamiento, asistimos a un desarrollo de capítulo-caso cerrado al más puro estilo de Sherlock Holmes en el que se irá acercando cada vez más a la misteriosa organización que está detrás de la fabricación de la droga.

Y por último, el más reciente: Death Note. Con un planteamiento más que original, nos cuenta la historia del Shinigami (dios japonés de la muerte) Ryuk y el humano Light Yagami.

Su relación comienza cuando Ryuk, aburrido del mundo de los Shinigami en el que vive, deja caer su Death Note (una libreta con el poder de matar a una persona con tan sólo escribir en ella su nombre e imaginar su rostro) en el mundo de los humanos. Light, uno de los mejores estudiantes de Japón, encuentra la Death Note y se marca el propósito de limpiar al mundo de criminales, aplicando un concepto de justicia absoluta en el que todo aquel que albergue maldad deberá morir y adoptando el sobrenombre de Kira para firmar sus asesinatos.

A su vez se nos presenta como contrapartida a L, el proclamado mejor detective del mundo, que colaborará desde el anonimato con la policía japonesa para atrapar a Kira y detener así el flujo incesante de muertos. El duelo entre ambos personajes es memorable, siendo imprescindible tener toda tu atención en cada viñeta para no perderte en los complicados juegos mentales de los dos protagonistas, que comenzarán una relación de admiración-odio que los llevará a protagonizar escenas e intrigas propias de la mejor novela de detectives.

La historia tiene su continuación en el mundo de los videojuegos, la novela y el cine, con dos adaptaciones hasta la fecha que cambian sustancialmente el desarrollo de la historia y el final de la misma, volcándose principalmente en el personaje de L.

PD: A pesar de tratarse de una entrada sobre manga, he preferido acompañar cada serie con un vídeo de su correspondiente adaptación al anime, para que aquellos que no las conozcan o nunca las hayan visto puedan hacerse una idea y animarse a leerlas.

1.    "The Big Shrink" / "Roller Coaster Murder Case"
"Jet Coaster Satsujin Jiken" (ジェットコースター殺人事件)
Jimmy Kudo and Rachel Moore encounters a murder at an amusement park. Shinichi easily solves the case, and in the process meets two suspicious black-clothed men. He decides to follow them, but gets caught. The two men, intending to kill him, force a newly developed poison down his throat, but in the end the substance only managed to shrink his body.

2.    "The Kidnapped Debutante" / "Company President's Daughter Kidnapping Case"
"Shachō Reijō Yūkai Jiken" (社長令嬢誘拐事件)
Renamed 'Conan Edogawa,' Jimmy resigns himself to live with his friend Rachel and her father, the useless detective Richard Moore until he can find out more about the men in black and the poison used to shrink him. He helps Kogoro solve a case concerning the kidnapping of a wealthy man's daughter.

3.    "Beware Of Idols" / "An Idol's Locked Room Murder Case"
"Idol Misshitsu Satsujin Jiken" (アイドル密室殺人事件)
Pop Idol Yoko Okino claims that a man is stalking her. Richard, Rachel, and Conan go investigate, but when they arrive at Yoko's apartment, there is a man with a knife sticking out his back on the floor. There is evidence that points to Yoko, her manager, and her rival Yuko. Conan, knocking out Kogoro and using his voice-changing bowtie for the first time, solves it as a case of suicide.

4.    "Fish Marks The Spot" / "The Coded Map of the City Case"
"Dai Tokai Angō Map Jiken" (大都会暗号マップ事件)
After a day at the museum, the Junior Detective League find a piece of paper with symbols and the word "ORO" written on it. Conan only believes that it's a treasure map after he discovers "ORO" means gold in Italian. It is only until nightfall when they figure out what the symbols mean. They find gold coins hanging from the ceiling of an abandon building, but they interrupted by a gang from the Italian mafia. With Conan's quick thinking, the Junior Detective League are able to capture the men.

5.    "The Time Bomb Express" / "The Shinkansen's Bomb Case"
"Shinkansen Dai Bakuha Jiken" (新幹線大爆破事件)
When Conan runs into two men in black on the Shinkansen bullet train, he uses a bug to over hear their conversation, which reveals that there is a bomb in a black suitcase on board. Conan is able to narrow down the location of the suitcase but there is four people carrying one. He is able to figure out who has the bomb at the last moment and manages to kick it off the train just in time.

6.    "Tragic Valentine" / "Valentine Murder Case"
"Valentine Satsujin Jiken" (バレンタイン殺人事件)
Rachel is invited to a Valentine's party, and Conan, jealously, follows her. The host falls dead from poisoning and Conan reveals (with the help of Richard) that his adopted mother did it for the insurance money by poisoning his coffee.

7.    "The Case Of The Mysterious Gifts" / "Once-A-Month Present Threat Case"
"Tsukichi Present Kyōhaku Jiken" (月ちプレゼント脅迫事件)
Once a month for the past two years, a surgeon named Ogawa has received toys and money totaling up to 25 million yen anonymously. During the investigation Rachel begins to suspect that Conan is really Jimmy. When Conan tries out a video game that Ogawa received, he figures that it belonged to a child that died during an operation led by Ogawa three years ago and Ogawa's child might be in danger. They find suspect and Ogawa's son at the park just in time to prevent a murder.

8.    "The Art Museum Murder Case" / "Art Museum Owner Murder Case"
"Bijutsukan Owner Satsujin Jiken" (美術館オーナー殺人事件)
There are rumors that a mysterious ghost knight is roaming the local art museum, and Rachel wants to check it out. When they go to check out the 'Hell' exhibit, they find that the manager of the museum has been stabbed to death by none other than the ghost knight. Evidence shows that the murderer loved art and was careful to prevent the surround art from getting dirty pointing to the museum's director as the culprit.

9.    "Festival Fiasco" / "Tenkaichi Night Festival Murder Case"
"Tenkaichi Yomatsuri Satsujin Jiken" (天下一夜祭殺人事件)
On the night of the Tenkaichi Night Festival, a famous writer is murdered and Conan is certain that it was Sasai, the murdered writer's writing partner. There's a slight catch - Sasai has a perfect alibi and photo proof. Conan re-examines the photo to find a small problem to prove Sasai guilty.

10.    "Deadly Game" / "Pro Soccer Player Blackmail Case"
"Pro Soccer Senshu Kyōhaku Jiken" (プロサッカー選手脅迫事件)
A girl named Reina shows up at the Richard's office asking for Jimmy Kudo, claiming they had been dating. Conan, however, has no idea who she is. Using a call from Professor Agasa, Conan tells her that Jimmy will contact Reina later and Rachel and Conan decide to go to her apartment to wait for Jimmy. Conan snoops around the apartment to find out star soccer player Hide Akagi's little brother has been kidnapped and he is forced to lose the big game. With a clue from the kidnaped kid's video game, they find him at the house of Hide's friend and rival.

11.    "The Moonlight Sonata Murder Case Part 1 & 2" / "Moonlight Sonata Murder Case (1 hour special)"
"Piano Sonata "Gekkō" Satsujin Jiken" (ピアノソナタ『月光』殺人事件)
Richard is sent a large sum of money by Keiji Asou to come to Tsukikage island investigate. When they reach the island, they discover that Keiji was a famous pianist and he has been dead for ten years after he set fire to his house. Three people are murdered, each found with a hidden message and a recording of a different movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata playing. Clues point to Dr. Narumi who has been creating an alibi by reporting the wrong time of death and Conan deduces that he is Keiji's son disguised as a woman getting revenge for murdering his family. Like his father, he kills himself by setting the town hall on fire.

12.    "Kidnapped: Amy" / "Ayumi-chan Kidnapping Case"
"Ayumi-chan Yūkai Jiken" (歩美ちゃん誘拐事件)
While playing hide-and-seek in the park, Ayumi Yoshida hides herself in the trunk of a car and falls asleep. When she wakes, the car has already left the park, and Ayumi finds herself with a head of a girl wrapped in newspapers. Conan uses the new radio transmitters the Detective Boys received from Professor Agasa to get clues and find where the car is heading. They boys finally catch up to rescue Ayumi, but not before they find out the girl's head was a paper mache prop for a play.

13.    "Mystery Mastermind" / "The Strange Person Hunt Murder Case"
"Kimyō na Hito Sagashi Satsujin Jiken" (奇妙な人捜し殺人事件)
A lady shows up at Kogoro Detective Agency and asks to find her father who left no trace behind. Another detective is asked by a large man to find the lady. But both men are soon found murdered with the lady missing. Conan find the woman confronting the culprit who is also the mastermind behind a billion yen heist.

14.    "The Shooter" / "The Mysterious Shooting Message Case"
"Nazo no Message Sogeki Jiken" (謎のメッセージ狙撃事件)
The Detective Boys watch as a sniper shoots a balloon by the river, but Conan notices that the sniper is held at gunpoint by other men. When the Detective Boys get there, the gunmen are nowhere to be seen, but Conan finds a message on a calculator that the sniper left behind. The message is only decoded when Conan turns the calculator upside down to discover the location of the sniper and stop the shooting

15.    "The Two Faced Brother" / "Missing Corpse Murder Case"
"Kieta Shitai Satsujin Jiken" (消えた死体殺人事件)
While looking for a missing cat, the Detective Boys also find a dead corpse in a house. After calling the police, the corpse is nowhere to be found. Conan returns at night to discover the cranky sleeping man that the police avoided during their search was the corpse and the disguised brother as the culprit.

16.    "A Loan Repaid" / "The Antique Collector Murder Case"
"Kottōhin Collector Satsujin Jiken" (骨董品コレクター殺人事件)
An antique collector asks Kogoro to investigate his wife's affair, but he is murdered after answering the door. The crime scene is shredded by a sword and fake clues point to the different people that were suppose to meet the collector. Conan notices the drawers on the shelve has been switched and when they are rearrange, the name of the killer is revealed.

17.    "The Case Of The Hi-Jacked Department Store" / "Hijacked Department Store Case"
"Department Jack Jiken" (デパートジャツク事件)
The detective boys are accidentally locked inside a department store after hours. They are extremely unlucky - that night, robbers take over the store. They are soon found out and chased. With clever strategies, the Detective Boys are able to apprehend the robber. But Conan has an uneasy feeling and discovers the elevator girl is the mastermind of the robbery.

18.    "Wedding Day Blues" / "A June Bride Murder Case"
"Rokugatsu no Hanayome Satsujin Jiken" (6月の花嫁殺人事件)
Ran and Shinichi's old homeroom teacher is getting married, but before the wedding even starts, the bride is poisoned with sodium hydroxide. Several suspects are caught on video including the bride's father and groom and fingerprint analysis show that some prints are missing. Using video evidence, Conan proves that there were two cans and the only person who could have done it was the groom who wanted to get revenge.

19.    "Fashion Sense" / "An Elevator Murder Case"
"Elevator Satsujin Jiken" (エレベーター殺人事件)
Ran is invited to be a model for a fashion designer company. After they arrive, one of the company's employees is killed in a non-stop elevator. Conan is certain that the company's owner is the one who did it, but she was also in a non-stop elevator heading to a different floor. With the help of tape, a coin, and a cellphone, the owner is able to pull off the simple trick, and Conan gives the evidence that the murder weapon is in her bag because she didn't have the time to discard it beforehand.

20.    "The Disappearing Act" / "A Haunted Mansion Murder Case"
"Yūreiyashiki Satsujin Jiken" (幽霊屋敷殺人事件)
Ayumi is walking home when she sees lights in an old abandon house where an unsolved murder took place several years ago. She convinces the Detective Boys to sneak into and explore the house. Genta and Mitsuhiko suddenly disappears leaving Conan and Ayumi following an old woman down hidden stairs where they find a caged man. Conan's deduces that the man, who was the son of the person who was murdered years back, is being locked away against his will by his mother who doesn't want him to confess to the police.

21.    "Lights, Camera...Murder" / "On Location, TV Drama Murder Case"
"TV Drama Roke Satsujin Jiken" (TVドラマロケ殺人事件)
Yoko Okino is starring in a television drama and she invites Ran, Kogoro, and Conan to watch the filming. The cameraman is murdered after the filming, leaving a dying message spelling the killer's name. Conan discovers the name was altered and points out the real killer.

22.    "Smooth Sailing Part 1" / "Luxury Liner Serial Murder Case (Part 1)"
"Gōka Kyakusen Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Zenpen)" (豪華客船連続殺人事件（前編）)
Kogoro, Ran, and Conan miss their boat home from a vacation and are lucky to hitch a ride with the rich Hanamoto family on a private ship. The head of the family is murdered, and the evidence all points to Takeshi who also has a motive. Takeshi is forced into a locked cabin, but there is soon another murder.

23.    "Smooth Sailing Part 2" / "Luxury Liner Serial Murder Case (Part 2)"
"Gōka Kyakusen Renzoku Satsujin Jiken (Kōhen)" (豪華客船連続殺人事件（後編）)
Takeshi is found missing from the locked cabin, but Conan does not believe he is the killer because the lock was not broken. The boat's power is switched off and Ichirō, an artist, is stabbed. Everyone is suspicious of one another and accusations are thrown around. After looking in each of the room, Conan finds the evidence to prove Takeshi's innocence and Ichirō guilty.

24.    "Better Off Forgotten" / "The Mysterious Woman With Amnesia Case"
"Nazo no Bijo Kioku Sōshitsu Jiken" (謎の美女記憶喪失事件)
A woman with amnesia stumbles into Kogoro, Ran, and Conan. Who is she, and why does it seem like someone is trying to kill her?

25.    "The Counterfeit Ransom Kidnapping" / "The False Kidnapping and Hostage Case"
"Itsuwari no Mino Shiro Kin Yūkai Jiken" (偽りの身代金誘拐事件)
A rich man's daughter is being held hostage by a kidnapper who is demanding 500 million yen. However, it seems that he isn't willing to pay the money to get his daughter back!

26.    "Jack Attacks!" / "Pet Dog John Murder Case"
"Aiken Jon Satsujin Jiken" (愛犬ジョン殺人事件)
A boy is watching the house for his neighbor, when a dog knocks him down the stairs and kills him. Did the owner purposely make the dog attack the boy? Or is the dog just bloodthirsty?

Desde mi particular punto de vista no soy muy fan de los anime largos, creo que una buena historia no necesita de tanto para desarrollarse, a menos que se deba recurrir a rellenos y cosas así. Pero de animes largos que he visto y puedo decir realmente me gustan, me quedo con Dragon Ball. Y que conste que Dragon Ball tampoco era necesario tanto capítulo, si se queda hasta la parte de Freezer, como su autor quería realmente, todo habría sido genial.

¿Y naruto?. Uff, esa necesita de más capítulos, claro, pero mucho relleno menos, además de episodios largos e inecesarios, incluso en el mismo manga, nos hubieran dejado una serie la mitad de larga y muy bien desarrollada.

After. I really messed up on this one, because his hat and clothes, I already coloured it in blue but since my shadings doesn't fit with the color, I modified it. Consuming my precious 2 and half hours.

...hozzáteszem, a magyar csatornákon ugye. :) Mivel némi tudatlanság övez egy-egy cím kapcsán ezért javallottnak láttam gyűjteni róluk némi infot (hivatkoznék itt most a hétvégi animeconos bejelentésre is).

Ugyebár a GitS:S.A.C. ma kezdődik, amiről kb. az tud csak, aki fórumra jár, és MTV-t néz, mert nem volt nagy hájpja neki. LOL Pedig micsoda egy kis sorozat már...mit sorozat, kultusz! Aki nem látta a moviekat annak ajánlom őket, ugyan nem kötelező jelelggel, de igen, viszont a megértést nagyban elősegítő instrukciókkal. Némi forrásanyag erről:

Kezdeném az általam kevésbé ismert Detective Conan című sorozattal. Mint utána olvastam kiderült, hog yszépshónen 100+2+x+y+50 részes kis animéről van szó (meg ha jól látom, ez még nincs befejezve sem, ugye?). :D Úgyhogy biztos jó lesz, alig lesz benne pár másodpercnyi filler, ésatöbbi. :) Amúgy nem bántom, ahogy olvasgattam róla nem a megszokott stílusba nyomja, illetve sokszor nevezik különcnek is a maga műfajában is, krimi jellege miatt. Abszolúte örülök neki, kíváncsi leszek meddig adja le a csatorna. Ha meg már az animaxnál tartunk, a fórumon volt olyan elveteműlt állat, aki a minimaxos miss malardhoz merészelte ezt a sorozatot hasonlítani. @_@ LOLIKSZDÉ azonnali lepofozással járó cselekmény volt ez (részemről legalábbis-mert ez nem ér, hogy a hülyeség csak nekem fáj! Fájjon annak is, aki mondja XD). Visszakanyarodva a lényeghez, kíváncsian várom, biztosan jó lesz, a népszerűségi statisztikájáról nem is beszélve európai viszonylatban (ha jól emlékszem Németo.-ban best of sorozatok egyike lett). A csatorna 2008.decemberétől vetíti majd, pontos időpont még nincs.Read more:

HELLSING, ami egyesek szerint össze van fanolva XDD (szintén animax fórum). Szóval lesz Hellsing. Azt hiszem ez egyértelmű mosolyt kapott mindenkitől, aki meg nem tudja miről van szó, az majd most megtudja. Én sem tudom mellesleg. Persze én használom a netet arra, amire való, úgyhogy nyilván utána olvastam. Mivel csak olvastam róla, így teljesen objektíven nyilatkozom csak. A tetszetős képek azonban mindenképp az anime nézésére kényszerítenek szinte, mivel hogy úgy látom, egészen igényes grafikával állunk szemben (hátde Gonzo, más nem is lehetne, csak igényes), illetve azért a sztori sem hanyagolandó. Ezt a sorozatot 2008. október 25-26. premierrel jegyezték elő a Conon. További részletek:

Azért vagyok rá nagyon kíváncsi, mert egyrészt Gonzo, másrészt meg már olyan 3/4 éve akarom megnézni, harmadrészt olvastam a könyvet, láttam sok filmet, oda-vissza vágom a sztorit, úgyhogy egy remekbe szabott anime tutira nem maradhat le a listáról ebben a témában. :D Kedvenc trailerem is van, merhátmérnelenne (a linkelt tralier hangminősége ilyen :/ nem tok vele mit kezdeni, pedig nekem volt jobb minőségű is, csak ugye elszállt a gépem még tavasszal). Nekem nagyon-nagyon tetszik a jövőbe átültetett régimódi történet által generált hangulat. Illetve a Gonzohoz mérten a látványvilág egyszerűen tökéletes. Igen, teljesen el vagyok ájulva tőle, totálisan földbe döngölt a monumentalitás, a millió giccs, a stílusok ömlengenek, csapong minden, már-már nyálas lenne, de mégsem az, szerintem mesteri. Ugyanez a zenékről is elmondható. Úgyhogy alig várom. Hikari az aoin gyönyörűen fogalmazta meg a lényeget erről a sorozatról:

"A Gankutsuou című anime Alexandre Dumas Monte Cristo grófja című regényének alternatív, futurisztikus feldolgozása. A cselekmény távol a jövőben, néhány évtizeddel az 5000. év után játszódik. A technológia nagyfokú fejlettsége, ugyanakkor az 1800-as évek közepére jellemző társadalmi berendezkedés igen érdekes hátteret ad a cselekménynek, és egészen új dimenzióba helyezi ezt a fordulatokkal, drámával, tragikummal, rejtélyekkel teli történetet. Sok részt láttam belőle, nem csak Jetixen, néztem origi japánt is és rendes subbal, de köszönöm én ebből nem kérek. Nem is fújjozom, egyszerűen idegesít és pont. Nálam a Sámán Király szintjén van. Illetve további infóként van megadva, hogy ha jól emlékszem 2009 márciusában Blícs második évad pörög majd. A fent említett sorozatokat mind szinkronnal jelentették be, de hát volt már ilyen (pölö Ayakashi Ayashi esete), úgyhogy a továbbiakban várakozó állaáspontba helyeztem magam.

Szummázva: teljesen kielégítőnek látom a fejlődés tempóját, a fent megnevezett sorozatokat is. Én úgy gondolom, hogy minden korosztály számára biztosítanak programot, a csatorna keretein belül.

Uma recente pesquisa da Oricon, entrevistou 300 jovens (de 14 à 19 anos) para falarem quais são as séries de mangá que eles já leram. O mangá "One Piece" ficou em primeiro, seguido do clássico mangá de basquete "Slam Dunk".

"Dragon Ball" e "Death Note" empataram em terceiro, enquando a séries de comédia "Gintama" ficou em quinto, segudio de "Lovely Complex" dividindo sua colocação com "Nodame Cantabile" em sexto.

Em oitavo ficou "Detective Conan", e "Fullmetal Alchemist" empatou com "Hana Yori Dango" em novo lugar.

Dr. Hiroshi Agasa (Agasa-Hakase) is Shinichi's next door neighbor and the first person to know his identity. Agasa-hakase uses his expertise in technology to help Conan in his cases and already made a lot of inventions for him. Most specially the stun-gun watch, voice changing bow tie, solar skateboard etc.

Yusaku and Yukiko Kudo, Shinichi's parents. They heard the story from Hakase and they decided to take Conan to America because his life is in danger but Conan insisted that he should stay in Japan because he wants to solve the case on his own, and of course, because of Ran.

*Yukiko's picture, actually that is Irene Adler from the 6th movie, the Phantom of Baker Street, holmes only girl but since Yusaku has part on the making of that virtual game, he made the main characters look like them. Hence, Sherlock Holmes - Yusaku and Dr. Watson - Agasa-Hakase.

Hattori Heiji, the detective of the west and was once Shinichi's rival. He found Conan speaking in his voice after he regained consciousness from Conan's stun gun. Since then, the two became partners in some cases and became good friends.

*He is the son of the chief police of the Osaka prefectural police department.

Haibara Ai, real name: Miyano Shiho and having a code name Sherry. She is a former member of the Black Organization and the younger sister of the deceased Miyano Akemi, which was murdered by Gin and Vodka. Because of her sister's death she escaped from the Organization's arm, she took her own drug, she made that APOTOXIN4869/APTX4869 which was the drug that made shinichi shrink and that made her body reverted to it's childhood state.

Eisuke Hondou, Ran's new classmate and he appeared after those FBI incident. She has a crush on Ran and he notices Conan's actions towards Ran is too similar to that of a boyfriend. In order to know Conan's identity, he tricked him by telling that he is inlove with Ran and wants to take her with him in America and blurted out that he wants to talk to Shinichi to get his opinion, since he knows the two had sort of been together and is angry that Shinichi is not there more for her. Conan then firmly reveals his opinion on the matter as well as who he is. Eisuke only laughs and tells Conan he had suspected it all along. Before leaving, Eisuke asks Conan to make Ran happy.

The Phantom thief, Kaitou Kid. How he knew Conan's identity was not given but maybe it's because of this deduction skills also and he is related to the Kudo family.

Sharon/Chris Vineyard, aka Vermouth, she is a member of black organization and is also a master of disguise, his teacher in diguising is Kaitou Kid's deceased father. She calls Conan as "Silver Bullet" meaning the one that can destroy Black Organization but Gin and Vodka said that there's no such thing as Silver Bullet, which can end the legacy of BO. In BO, she is the only person who knows Haibara Ai and Edogawa Conan's true identity. She does have a guilt complex towards anyone she owes her life to, as evidenced by her hesitating to harm Shinichi/Conan and Ran in the Ai Kidnap case because Ran onced saved her life.

A recent Oricon survey asked 300 teenagers (ages 14-19) to name the most interesting manga series they had read. The long-running adventure manga "One Piece" was ranked #1, followed by the classic basketball manga "Slam Dunk.""Dragonball" and "Death Note" tied for 3rd, while the comedy series "Gintama" took 5th. "Lovely Complex" split the #6 spot with "Nodame Cantabile."

At #8 was "Detective Conan," beating out "Hana Yori Dango," which tied for #9 with "Fullmetal Alchemist."

Aoyama gave very few details about the ending for the popular series, saying, "I will not betray the hopes of fans." Volume 59 of the Conan manga will be released in Japan later this month. "I don't feel much pressure," said the author, adding with a laugh, "isn't it more fun just to not feel pressure at all? Instead, I write what feels right to me. I feel lucky that I'm able to do that."

The interview conducted by the Sankei Shimbun focused mostly on Aoyama's career and the popularity of the Detective Conan series. The author talked about how he tries to keep the series feeling original: "The manga is always interesting to me because the mysteries [in the story] let me portray a variety of genres. If the criminal is an athlete, it feels like a sports story. If they're an actor, it feels like a stage drama. Every time I work with a different world, so it lets me draw things in a way that keeps the story feeling fresh. It's hard, but I don't get tired of it."

Aoyama said the most difficult part of writing Conan was "avoiding complicated words and phrases. It's easy to use words that confuse the readers, but then people lose track of the story." Such complications can lead to trouble, says Aoyama. "There will be times when the story just won't develop, and I'll spend almost twelve hours just to get it together. Usually it takes just four."

Conan has been one of the most successful anime and manga franchises of the past 20 years. The series first appeared in the manga magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994. To date, 120 million volumes (tankōbon) of the Detective Conan manga have been sold in Japan alone. The manga is currently available in 22 nations worldwide, and the anime is in its 11th season in prime time on the NTV network and its affiliates. A 12th full length theatrical anime (title pending) is scheduled to hit Japanese theatres next spring, and a new live-action television drama version of the story debuts in December.

I briefly mentioned Okiya and "Bourbon" in my previous post about the Clash of Red and Black arc. This time around, let's have a closer look on these mysterious characters. Episodes 509-511 covered manga files 622-624 from Vol. 60, and files 638-640 from Vol. 61, which are somewhat part of the Black Organization arc. I say "somewhat" because I'm not sure about who this new BO member is exactly (codename: Bourbon). Naturally, theories about the identities of Okiya and Bourbon are all over the DC fanbase. For the purpose of simplicity in this post, I shall refer to it as "the Okiya arc" and subcategorize it as part of the BO arc. ** WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD**

**SPOILERS START**

A QUICK SUMMARY OF "THE OKIYA ARC" -- Episodes 509-511 deals with two cases. Case #1 (episode 509 and the first half of 510) introduces us to two new significant characters in the BO arc. Rena warns Jodie-sensei about a new BO member who has been deployed, an agent who is highly skilled in intelligence gathering as well as observation and discernment., whose codename is "Bourbon." Jodie and Conan believe that Bourbon's target is Haibara/Sherry. Jodie notes that they can't risk an FBI agent protect to Haibara because that might make it obvious to the BO that she's Sherry, so Jodie asks Conan to keep an eye on Haibara for them. Anyway, case #1 is an arson case regarding an apartment owned by a classmate of the Detective Boys, which happens to be near the Professor's house. We are introduced to a guy named Okiya Subaru, a graduate student of Engineering living in the apartment. We also learn that Okiya is a fan of Sherlock Holmes. Remember that Haibara gets a chilly feeling whenever a BO member is nearby? For some reason, it seems that she gets this vibe whenever she gets close to Okiya. As usual, Conan solves the case. Okiya learns about Professor Agasa and asks if the kids could introduce the two of them. Okiya asks the Professor if he can stay at the house for a while since the apartment burned down, he offered to help out with the Prof's research. Haibara is against this, so Conan offers to let Okiya live at Kudo's house next door. Haibara asks if that's really okay, to which Conan replies that it is since he thinks a Holmes fan can't be a bad person.

Case #2 (second half of episode 510 and the entire episode 511) gives us a better insight on Okiya Subaru. It's 1 month after the first case. Ran and Sonoko drop by Kudo's house to do some cleaning. Surprise! They find a guy living there. Thinking that he's a burglar, Ran gives him a hard karate kick (ouch). They later learn that he's Okiya and got permission from Conan (and Shinichi-niichan) to live there for a while and sort of be the "caretaker" of the house. Conan informs Ran that "Shinichi-niichan" doesn't want Ran to talk much about him when she's around Okiya. The second case involves a kidnapping and paper airplanes as clues. Shinichi/Conan and Okiya have a deduction showdown (NOT face-to-face, of course). Apparently, Okiya has excellent deduction skills as well. He and Conan arrived at the same conclusions at about the same time, every time. They both solve the case and save the day. At the end of the episode, Sonoko mentions that Okiya was probably drinking to celebrate his correct deduction. Ran explains to the confused Conan that they noticed some alcohol at Kudo's house that wasn't there before. With a smile on his face, we see Okiya drinking a glass of... guess what?... Bourbon.

MY IMPRESSION -- I've been holding out on talking about this guy until the manga file got animated. So, who exactly is Okiya? Who could Bourbon be? Are they the same person or not? Could Okiya be Akai in disguise? Let's try and address some of these questions, shall we?

Conan offered Okiya to stay at Kudo's house next door to Prof Agasa's, telling Haibara that a Holmes fan can't be a bad person. ^_^;  Heh, either Conan is becoming naive or he suspects something, I don't know. It's most likely the latter, though it could also be that he knows something that we obviously don't. Enter the suspicions from other DC fans that Okiya might actually be Akai in disguise. It's a possibility too. I mean, I personally (and stubbornly) refuse to believe that Akai is dead! With this flicker of hope in mind, Akai posing as Okiya is a very welcome possibility for me. Akai is a sharp and clever guy, so him as Okiya is not far-fetched either. Did he know much about Holmes? I don't know. But that could also be some sort of sign or a hint between Akai and Conan, so Conan would know who Akai is when he takes on his disguise, which in this assumption is Okiya. The engineering student bit of info might also be a way of staying close to protect Conan and especially Haibara, who Akai has some history with (Haibara's older sister was his girlfriend). Ah, but this part leads me to another question... If Okiya is Akai in disguise, why does Haibara feel frightened whenever she's near Okiya? Hmm, maybe because Akai was also part of the BO for a time as a spy, so Haibara gets the chills. Other than the time when Conan pretended to be Haibara and she gets saved by Ran (ep 345) and the bus hijack incident (ep 230), has Haibara even been near Akai before he died? I 'm not so sure, but I don't think so. Hence, I'm also not sure if she feels frightened when near Akai.

At this point in time, I'm still absolutely uncertain but I'm leaning towards the "Okiya might be Bourbon" theory. Some of the possible clues that makes me lean towards this are: (1) As mentioned earlier, Haibara always gets this strange and cold feeling of fear whenever any BO member is nearby. The chilly vibes which she appears to feel whenever she gets close to Okiya suggests to us viewers that he might be "Bourbon." (2) Rena says this "Bourbon" person has great skills at gathering intelligence and observation. Sounds to me like he's a very smart guy. Okiya easily fits this description after exhibiting those deduction skills that rival Shinichi's. Although, I must note that Rena did not give any indication if Bourbon was in fact a man or a woman. (3) Episode 511's ending, with Okiya drinking a glass of bourbon with a suspicious smile on his face? It's either a dead giveaway that he is Bourbon or it's merely something that's aimed to mislead us on purpose.

I'm honestly not sure about the real identity of either Okiya or Bourbon. Of course, it's also very much possible that Okiya is an individual separate from either Bourbon or Akai, that he is who he says he is: Just a grad student who's a Holmes fan. Perhaps, another ally for Conan. So far, Bourbon's gender has never been mentioned so it's also likely that "he" could be a "she" instead. In this regard, this may be a bit off, but isn't it probable that Vermouth may be disguising as Okiya too? She did it before with Dr. Araide (ep 345). I haven't seen her in a while either, plus disguises are her specialty after all. Although, if this is the case, Okiya would probably have been drinking vermouth instead of bourbon. Hmm. Hey, just a thought.

Note that these are just merely my own personal thoughts about the whole Okiya and Bourbon business. I'm sure we'd eventually get a better idea on this little identity crisis in future manga files, since I think further clues will be scattered about in future chapters which will involve the BO arc, Okiya or Bourbon.

Okay, I'm just glad that I've relieved myself of these hypotheses about the mysterious identity stuff. My mind can feel at ease now. ~LOL. I'll be looking forward to the follow-up on this arc in the manga., and to the day when the Okiya, Bourbon and Akai mystery is solved. ^^

First of all, befor anything else, I have to confesss that before I entered the DBSK fandom, I was a die-hard anime fan. My friends called me "the Anime Addict." I specially became obsessed with Detective Conan, and soon discovered the wonders of fan fictions. Through fan fiction authors, I got to really understand the depth of Shinichi Kudo a.k.a Conan's character, his pain, longings, frusrations and regrets. I found it really fun to step into the depths of his mind and see things from his point of view, and I think that is what inspired me to write this poem.

Shinichi Kudo was a 17-year-old famous highly intelligent high school detective who's got it all; rich parents, popularity, obsessed fangirls, budding career, and his best friend Ran who he's secretly inlove with. One day, he runs across the deadly BLACK ORGANIZATION who made him take a poison to kill him. In a twisted turn of events, the poison shrunk him into a 7-year-old instead. Fearing that the organization will kill him and everyone involved with him, he adopts the kid image and hides his real identity. Now, under cover as Conan Edogaoa, kid detective, he's on the hunt to find out and throw to jail those behind the deadly Black organization and find a cure to revert his body back to normal.

Despite my said intelligence, I do not know what to say
This isn't just a normal crime that I solve everyday.

But I can't because I'm trapped in a body I hate so.

Other notes: I really like Ran's character better that any other leading ladies in anime. She's kind and gentle, and at the same time fierce and independent. Oh, and she's a SCARY karate champion. She can kick bad guys' butt in a second!

Oh, yeah!
