El cantautor guatemalteco Ricardo Arjona estrenará en Estados Unidos producción musical y disquera, tras años de formar parte del elenco de la firma multinacional Sony BMG.

La empresa Warner Latina anunció que el artista centroamericano debutará el lunes 29 de septiembre en la radio mundial con Cómo duele, primer corte de su nuevo material 5to. piso, que estará en el mercado el próximo 18 de noviembre. En Warner tendrá como compañeros de disquera al ídolo mexicano Luis Miguel, a la italiana Laura Pausini y a los españoles Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bosé y Alex Ubago.

Durante años Arjona formó parte de Sony BMG, actual discográfica de astros latinos como la colombiana Shakira, los puertorriqueños Ricky Martin y Chayanne, y los mexicanos Alejandro y Vicente Fernández.

Lagu ini, lumayan keren, menurut saya sih gitu. Dulu pas di awal-awal iklan ini, jadi inget, banyak anak-anak kecil yang tinggal di sekitar kosan saya menyanyikan lagu itu di kala mereka dimandikan orang tuanya sebelum berangkat ke sekolah. Walau 'cempreng' tapi lumayan, buat nemanin saya berangkat ke kampus pagi-pagi.

I´ve been listening to the band 30 seconds to Mars for a while now and I really like them. I have downloaded the music on iTunes so i really didn´t know much about the band.

(By the way, did you know that it´t better for the environment if you dowload your music instead of buying the cd?. It´s a more environmentally friendly distribution of music. The cd has to travel a long way before it´s in your shelve).

Anyway, i went to youtube to check out the music videos. The first surprise was a silly one, I realized that the singer is the actor i loved as a girl, Jared Leto. (From "my so called life"). But the great surprise it the "a beautiful lie" video. It´s been shot in Greenland to underscore the global climate crisis. Well, bringing the band and the crew to Greenland may not be the most environmentally friendly act they could choose. Still, the video is really beautiful. And the good part, they´ve created a website to bring the message further. www.abeautifullie.org
