1. Incredible Fragrance and Outstanding Quality! - You will not find a stronger scented candle on the market today. Our candles are packed with as much aromatic fragrance as possible to give you a burning experience unlike any other!

2. Lead-free Double Wicks - In any Gold Canyon Candle larger than a 5oz, you will find double wicks. This allows your candle to liquefy and burn evenly the whole way across the top. No more pushing unburned wax down from the side of the jars!

3. 100% Fragrance!! - This means that our candles are as fragrant at the bottom as they are at the top. Every inch of our candle wax is fragranced.

4. Cool Burning Wax - If you are concerned about burning candles with small children around, don't be. Gold Canyon Candles contain cool wax which, if spilled on skin, will be warm but will not burn.

5. Safety Wicks - Each Gold Canyon Candle comes with safety wicks. This means that when there is about 1/2" of wax left in the candle, the wick will not light or will extinguish if burning. An extra ounce of wax is poured into each candle to accommodate this feature.

6. 100% Edible - Edible??!! Yes, if your small child happened to decide to munch on a candle, the wax is 100% edible and non-toxic.

7. Outstanding Selection - During any given season, Gold Canyon features approximately 100 different fragrances in various categories. Our wide array of fragrances and types of candles ensures that everyone is able to find the perfect fragrance!

8. Great Price - Great quality does not always have to come with a high price tag. You will find the highest quality candle at the lowest possible prices!

9. Prayer Child Program - A portion of EVERY purchase goes directly to children in need through our Prayer Child program. It's our chance to give something back to the community and we take great pride in our service to those in need.

10. Outstanding Quality - Gold Canyon Candles was founded with the goal of creating "The World's Finest" candle. Today, we continue to meet this goal.

You know...I think market testing is a very important aspect in the success of a product.

Therefore, I would like to volunteer my services as a tester for said fragrance.

However, in the interest of proper scientific analysis, I believe results would only be rendered accurate
if I were to be able sample the fragrance all over on the body of the subject for which the product is named for.

I am totally willing to make that sacrifice in the name of being a good scientist.

Cacharel perfume is among the most popular in the whole world. Produced in Paris, France, the line g

Cacharel perfume is among the most popular in the whole world. Produced in Paris, France, the line grasps some of the most customary perfumes known to the human race today. Cacharel’s founder Jean Bousquet wanted to generate a line of fragrances that are not only womanly, but also well-appointed. Born in 1932, Bousquet started his design career early on at the age of 15 when he served as an novice tailor. In 1958 he opened a tiny store in Paris where he tailored shirts for men. By the early 1960’s, the designer made a decision to turn towards the women’s market, and is accredited for generating the first seersucker blouse.

In 1978 he released the first Cacharel perfume, Anais Anais, which is still considered one of the most well-liked perfumes on the market in our day. The word Cacharel is that of a bird found in Southern France, to mirror beauty, elegance, and grace. Anais Anais is choosen for a Persian goddess of the same name, and the top notes reproduce lily of the valley, jasmine, rose iris, and orange blossoms among others. The fragrance is very light, fresh, and sweet smells. The packaging is very subtle and comes in a breathtaking glass jar with a floral motif.

Cacharel also carries other items as well as scents for men. Nemo was produced in 2000, and is a sharp woody fragrance. The bottle is made of brown glass corresponding to manliness. In 1981, Cacharel for Men was set up and recommended for casual wear. The fragrance has spicy and lavender notes and is a runaway success for men wide-reaching.

Cacharel created Lou Lou for women in 1987. The shiny blue, triangular bottle with a feel of red is an indication of its Oriental flair, and this Cacharel perfume is bursting of rich spices and floral scents. Eden, launched in 1994 is packaged in a fine-looking green bottle and is a refreshing floral scent. Gloria, on the market in 2002 is a bolder, more exotic blend. It contains a mix of vanilla, musk, amaretto, and hibiscus. Amor Amor is one of Cacharel’s most recent creations, launched in 2003. The box has a big picture of a rose on it, representative of its luxurious ingredients of fruits, florals, and woods.

There are some other perfumes created by the line as well, and all are just as successful. Worldwide Cacharel perfume is known as one of the most deluxe high-end perfume producers on the market. The majority of the items can be found at retailers such as Nordstrom, Sephora, and Macy’s, but many are obtainable through online perfumeries as well. The perfumes are not the only items offered by the product. Luxurious soaps, hair and body shampoos, and body oils are also well-liked. Some of the scents are even accessible in roll on deodorant form. Gift sets are also on hand and comprise the original perfume along with a body lotion of the same scent. For the men, Cacharel perfume has also created a line of aftershaves.

There are lots of people that we encounter in our lives that we end up excxhanging gifts with. From

There are lots of people that we encounter in our lives that we end up excxhanging gifts with. From time to time this is an easy job and other times it is not. I have one girlfriend that I see things for each time I am out shopping. She has many interests and pastimes so it is uncomplicated to find things that she will be pleased about. I have three sisters. Two of them I also can find things very easily for, but the oldest one is rather difficult to buy for. She is a shopper and she is very rich. If she sees something she likes she purchases it I didn’t know she liked Britney Spears perfume though. Let me tell you this story.

More than a few years ago my sisters and I started a custom of going out for drinks and swapping gifts for each other’s birthdays. This is our time to visit without kids or husbands. Our birthdays are stretched throughout the year so this makes for a grand way to get closer to on what is going on in each other’s life. Last year when we got together I was wearing some of the Britney Spears perfume that my spouse gave me for Christmas. When I said hello to my oldest sister with a hug she remarked that I smelled good. She made the same comment when we said goodbye to each other.

Her birthday was the next one we were to celebrate so I was determined that the next time I went shopping I would buy her a Britney Spears perfume. It is not something that I would normally decide to buy for somebody else as it is more than often such a personal choice but the fact that my sister liked it and that they are relatively cheap made me go for it. I had never become aware of the fact that my sister wore any perfume, so I had not thought this as an alternative before. The next time I went to the store shopping I looked at the Britney Spears gift sets.

Britney Spears perfume is available today in five different varieties, all of which are women’s fragrances: Curious, Curious in Control, Fantasy, Midnight Fantasy, and Believe. The first Britney Spears perfume was Curious, released in 2004. It is a classic perfume for the non-classic female, a youthful preparation, with sweet Louisiana magnolia, homage to the Britney’s native state, just right for my sister. Believe on the other hand, is a sensual and affectionate combination of exotic florals and seductive amber.

The bottles themselves are very nice-looking sitting on a vanity or dresser. The perfume is in small bottles that have multi-faceted glass silhouette. I bought a Britney Spears perfume set that incorporated a small bottle of perfume a bottle of cologne and a tube of body lotion.

When we met for my oldest sister’s birthday I observed that she was wearing Britney Spears perfume. I pointed it out to her and she said that she had liked it so much on me that she had purchased herself a small bottle. She had to laugh when she unwrapped the gift set I had bought for her. She was very happy with it. I said to her that once again she had just gone out and bought what she wanted, but at any rate it was something that had to be replenished. The best thing about this entire situation is that at least now I know I have a fall back gift for her if I cannot locate anything else.

A couple of months ago, when Zac was promoting his line with Target, he let slip in an interview that he would be releasing a fragrance in the upcoming months.

While details behind the scent are still under wraps, we do know who will be designing the beautiful bottles that will hold the designer's new smell-good stuff:

Fabien Baron has been tapped to work his magic on the packaging of the scent. Fabien has worked with the likes of Prada, Calvin Klein, and Viktor & Rolf in the past on similar beauty projects.

So, even though Zac's scent may very well make us gag when it's released into the air by some salesperson, its bottle will make for a great counter top decoration.

Nope, it's not another spot for Proactiv. Diddy is cashing in on his strongest suit, the art of concocting fragrances (ha!). The fragrance is named "I Am King." And the marketing is perfect for the superiority-complex-ridden demographic. His last fragrance did very well and everyone murmured about it as if it charted #1 on the eau de toilette box office, so I can't say much about it. This makes me want to put some cologne on in my hotel room as I repeat, "King of the Castle. King of the Castle. I have a chair. King of the Castle." Appropriate, no?

There’s a limited-edition box made of clear plastic that bears Combs’s loopy signature (that’s $100) as well as the jejune edition, which comes in cardboard and costs $57. In this product, Hampton sees not only the possibility of smelling nice but also being an agent for social change. As he explains to Janelle Grimmen of Vibe Magazine, “I Am King is about how everybody can be king. P. Diddy, for instance, grew up poor and he achieved his dreams.” Now that dream is available in a bottle, just like a genie.

A trio of women drink bubbly by the ice block carved into a table, on top of which mounds of caviar rest in wee ramekins. The woman with the clipboard is Stephanie Katzin, a pretty Gemini who works with Mr. Combs, just like Hampton does. She spouts the company line, too: “It’s about how everyone can be king.” Combs plans to roll out I Am Queen, too, though I Am Princess is not slated. “If he enters the teenage market, we have problems,” Katzin says. Think of the smelly teen hysterics. Diddlemania. Already Katzin, who at just 24 is barely out of teenagerdom herself, gets all swoony when discussing her interactions with Mr. Combs. “I walked in on him the other day, prepping for an interview,” she told me, “and he was changing. He was wearing a wife-beater. I was like, ‘Soooo….,’ ” says Katzin, widening her hazel eyes and averting her gaze to her clipboard. “I was nervous. I was very attracted to him.” An editor from Fashion Week Daily commiserated. “I would die. I would totally die.” Diddy scowls at us from the screen.

[Taken from The Moment]

It looks like Combs with a wife-beat on makes the ladies melt. He must have been wearing "I Am King." OR "I Am King" is made out of his natural marathon-running sweat. Either way, we win if we dab it behind our ears and on our wrists.

Burning incense may create a sweet scent, but regularly inhaling the smoke could put people at risk

Burning incense may create a sweet scent, but regularly inhaling the smoke could put people at risk of cancers of the respiratory tract, researchers reported. Incense is usually derived from fragrant plant materials, like tree bark, resins, roots, flowers and essential oils. A recent study conducted and presented by the researchers of the department of epidemiology from Copenhagen’s Statens Serum Institut, shows that there is a connection between the exposure to burning incense and airway cancers. Long-term Exposure to Incense Raises Cancer Risk Incense burning produces particulate matter and is known to contain possible carcinogens such as polyaromatic hyodrcarbons (PAHs), carbonyls and benzene. In a study of more than 61,000 ethnic Chinese living in Singapore who were followed for up to 12 years, the investigators found a link between heavy incense use and various respiratory cancers."Given that our results are backed by numerous experimental studies showing that incense is a powerful producer of particulate matter and that incense smoke contains carcinogenic substances, I believe incense should be used with caution," said study author Dr. Jeppe Friborg, of the department of epidemiology research at Statens Serum Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark. "That is, frequent use in rooms where people live should be minimized, or at least sufficient ventilation should be secured. In our study, we find the increased risk of cancer to be present in individuals reporting frequent use of incense for many years, thus, repeated exposure for years should probably be avoided." Incense burning almost doubled the risk of developing squamous cell upper respiratory tract carcinomas including nasal/sinus, tongue, mouth and laryngeal. There was an increased risk both in smokers and in nonsmokers, pointing to an independent effect of incense smoke.

The Versace Women perfume line for classic women is a creation by Gianni Versace in 2001. This perfume is a superb blend of Frangipani blossoms and leaves with jasmine, bergamot and eglantine. The other fragrances are the fruity tones of plum and raspberry. The ritual flower of oriental ceremonies, the Padparadscha lotus is also one of the fragrances of the Versace Women perfume line.

How To Buy Versace Women Perfume

There are several discount online stores that market the Versace Women perfume lines. But you have to be careful if you buy or order at one of these stores, because sometimes the products are not original. Check out the reliable online stores who sell many authentic name brands and declare that they guarantee authentic products and do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

When you order a Versace Women perfume and want it to be shipped to you, there are strict international regulations about shipping, because fragrance has to be shipped and handled separately. These restraints are due to the inflammable alcohol content in perfumes. But nevertheless, there are no shipping charges for perfumes if the delivery is to a U.S. address.

Versace Women Perfume Fragrances

Some of the fragrances that are part of the Versace Women perfume line are Baby Rose Jeans, Time To Relax, Crystal Noir, Time For Energy and Versace Signature. Most of the customers who use Versace Women perfume find it enticing and alluring and they find the fragrances extremely subtle.

Versace Women Perfume Features

Versace Women perfume can be worn every day as well as on evening outings and special occasions. If you are a classic and natural person, the oriental, spicy and floral fragrances are ideal for you. You can wear these fragrances for any occasion. They are deeply feminine, with just a touch of spice and have a sweet lingering note.

Some customers are of the opinion that the Versace Women perfume line is great value for the money, whereas others think that the price is good, but the perfume does not last long enough. Its great fragrance is truly versatile, and is an example of absolute perfection for many. In fact some customers profess that they have made lots of friends just because they wore this perfume. They receive compliments about how great they smell, and give all the credit to the Versace Women perfume that they are wearing.

Versace Signature And Crystal Noir

The Versace Signature by Versace for Women is an Eau de Parfum. The superb blend of jasmine and azalea gives this perfume a floral and vibrant fragrance. And then it has the silky softness of a veil of musk mixed with the fragrance of Kashmir wood and Moroccan cedar wood. This woody fragrance makes the Versace Women perfume line similar to Angel perfume for women.

The Crystal Noir fragrances for women created by Versace are a blend of gardenia and amber and give modern contrasts making it especially attractive and give the ultimate classic touch. The feminine scent is the specialty of every fragrance created by Versace and especially the Versace Women perfume line that is seductive and sensual.

A decade back, you probably wouldn’t have found many takers if you were trying to do some online selling. Most people weren’t internet savvy, and neither were they too confident about the security set-up in the E-commerce business. If someone wants to make business through the Internet, they have to make sure they instill trust and loyalty among prospective consumers.

That understood; most online business houses have gone on to win the confidence of the unseen customer, by assuring protection of sensitive details divulged. Now, online selling is prospering and stats say that by the year 2003, the retail trade had raked more than 52 billion dollars.

Now the conviction among consumers is on an all-time high. Most credit card companies assure of credit protection, and online selling merchants assure of safety by displaying a tiny lock icon, or a message that says that it’s a secure order site. Once the retailers realized that certain kinds of information couldn’t be beaten out of consumers, they relaxed on their norms.

Now the internet is an infinitely more comfortable domain for those buying online as well as for the sellers.

First off, I’m not big on kids, but anyone should expect a sort of protocol and decorum in chu

First off, I'm not big on kids, but anyone should expect a sort of protocol and decorum in church.

The family in the row in front of us had two little girls and a baby. Now, the baby was quiet the whole time, but the two little girls would not sit still. One even at one point stomped down the aisle yelling loudly. Mommy just went "Shhh, we're in church." I would have been removed and gotten the stuffing whooped out of me! And that would've been the last time I would have done it.

Other antics included dropping soda bottles, crumpling paper, and staring at me and my husband. It was extremely distracting and miserable. After the end of the service, I turned to Sam and said "Well, that was distracting," and he claimed the mother turned and looked at us in horror. Sam says I need more tact. I say she needed to hear it. We're both probably right.

On the other side of the aisle, a mother decided to breastfeed. I don't need to see that and it's not appropriate for any public place. Not only that, the toddler with the same family kept rattling and dropping things.

Next, the teen girls behind us were talking. But I'm not going to get into that.

I know you can scream at me and say that Jesus invited the children to come to him. That's wonderful that He values children!

I think that He would not be happy that others are being inconsiderate to those in his house of worship. Church is a time to concentrate, meditate, and pray, not play with your kids. I have seen entire families focus on the antics of a child while a service has been going on. I'll bet the adults didn't even know what the service was about.

Churches provide areas for parents to take their children. There are nurseries, children's church, and other places that churches provide for children while their parents go worship. Many provide special areas for parents and children and the service is piped in.

If a child is fussy, remove him or her for the sake of the congregation and your own embarassment. Also, discipline your children. It says that in the Bible, too! Even if it is harsh. Coddling and going "Shh" isn't going to do crap.

If you need to breastfeed, please oh please go the restroom. Many places even have couches in the restrooms. No one wants to see you breastfeeding no matter how "natural" it may be. Nudity is also "natural" but I'm not going to dance in my birthday suit in public!

I have heard of pastors stopping services because of loud children and talking teenagers. (By the way girls, if you want to talk, take the conversation outside.) I had a friend who is a pastor and he said he HATES it when screaming and loud kids are in church. It's distracting. They need to be placed in a class or in the nursery.

Little kids do not have the attention span for church. You need to hear the sermon and worship. Take advantage of what churches offer for children! And give the rest of us a break. We certainly don't want to hear if you three-year-old has to go poo poo.

I do not remember this happening in church 20 years ago. Kids behaved. You were quiet. Or you got it. You respected others. Parents need to get back to disciplining their children. No time outs. Spank. Yell. Smack. Being sterner might solve a lot more problems than being out of control in church.

Also on a side note and in reference to my post "Fragrances: Good or Bad?", WebMD has released and article about how regular use of incense is linked to cancer. It's very interesting and should be another caution about fragrances and scents.

This fabulous news comes through to Fashion Intel via The Cut, my favorite fashion blog ever. Over there they have explained that:

"Department stores like Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Filene's, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue cheated consumers by making a pact that they'd only sell cosmetic products at the suggested retail price."

Apparently this is against the law -calling all fashionable lawyers - and we will soon be reaping the benefits of these price fixers. Come 2009, you and I will be hitting the counter for our much deserved free goods. AND I'll take some samples while I am at it, so don't be stingy!

Just go to http://www.cosmeticssettlement.com/ and sign up to be one of the chosen people who receive $25 worth of free makeup.
