“Ще има ли GTAIV за PC?”
Според мен, отговорът е повече от ясен - Въпросът е грешно зададен! :) Би трябвало да не е - ще има ли GTAIV за PC, а КОГА ще ги има за PC?
Дайте да мислим логично? Rockstar са всичко друго но не и глупаци. Колкото и да си говорим за пиратство и прочие, една PC версия ще продава, и ТО МНОГО! Единственият сериозен въпрос, е какво са подписали “рок звездите” в онези ексклузивни договори с Microsoft и Sony т.е. след колко време ще могат да разпространяват играта и за PC. Другият въпрос е, какво ОЩЕ ще включва PC версията, предвид очаквания DLC (downloadable contents) за Xbox версията.

Evel Knievel

The airport is a great place to pull off stunts. Simply get a few friends and fire up a free mode game there. Have a few guys grab choppers and the rest should grab identical vehicle. Now if you look at the end of the runway, you should see a floating platform with boxes on it. Have the people with cars going to the opposite side of the runway and the chopper drivers fly just a meter above the water between the platform and the end of the runway. At the signal, have them cross the runway, take the jump and -once they go airborne- jump out of the car. If everything went well, they should hit the rotor blades, fly away and die.

Swingset

There is a glitch with a swingset in the Firefly Projects that can be quite fun once you figure out how to get it to work. Jump out of the car in midair for increased distance. We spent countless hours playing with that glitch :P

Hide and Seek

Start a new private team deathmatch game with your friends and have all of them go in the same team except one (the guy that has to find the others). Put a short duration and set the blips to team only. Agree on a distance limit and count to something like 30 before trying to find the others. This is pretty damn fun, trust me.

Last stand

Start a new free mode game with friendly fire off and police on. With the weapons you start with and the one you pick up during the rampage, you and your friends must last for as long as possible. This can take epic proportions when the police choppers kick in.

I will tell you what I think about the game though. Simply put, it's awesome but I will elaborate further. In the previous Grand Theft Auto games, the stories somewhat lacked in depth. At least that's how I feel about them. I'm much more impressed with the depth in this one. I actually felt a connection to the characters and felt happy/sorry for the situations they are put in. It's funny that I enjoyed hanging out with the characters when they called me.

Gameplay is pretty much the same formula as the previous ones. Steal cars, do missions, make money with the added dating scene in this one. Essentially the free roaming world is fully intact but much improved. There are more pedestrians walking around and more cars in the cities. Physics have been improved greatly with the vehicles and npc's. I make it a point to crash into any motorcyclist I see just so I can watch the body get thrown into oncoming traffic (sorry... did I just write that?). It's crazy fun but not surprisingly violent.

Controls are lacking but much better than the previous games in line. The lock on feature is a godsend since free aiming really is too inefficient to survive a battle. Yes auto lock was in the previous ones but it seems better this time around. I only have two major control complaints. One is when flying a chopper. Both analog and SIXAXIS controls are extremely frustrating to use. I actually don't enjoy flying one. I only do it to complete missions that require the use of a chopper. Second complaint is shooting and driving. I preferred shooting out the side of the car in the old games rather than aiming in front in this one. It's actually only a minor complaint but it still bothers me.

Overall I'd say that this game is a must have for any PS3 or 360 owner.

La revista PC GAMER ha sido la encargada en confirmarlo oficialmente.  Después de su indudable gran éxito en las versiones de Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3 es normal que Rockstar haya decidido en lanzar también este juegazo en PC.

En los próximos días se espera nueva información sobre este lanzamiento y una posible fecha oficial de salida ya que estos datos son todavía una incógnita.

Una gran noticia para los que quieran hacerse con el juego en su versión de PC. Cada vez son más los juegos que en un principio iban a salir solo en videoconsola y finalmente también salen en PC, es el caso de The Last Remnant y quizás FFXIII también salga en PC.

Well, to celebrate the fact that I have over 2000 views of my blog (I totally only noticed by random) and the fact that everyone seems to love Futae No Kiwami, and to get that huge multi-coloured blog post out of the way, here's a brand new (probably not) funny (even more likely not) fantastic (no) Futae video.

So in other news, I've not really been doing that much recently, well, I have re-activated my FFXI account, and to save me going to find a new screenshot, here's one from some time in 2006, which is the same character I use now.. only he's a Monk now, not a BLM. My plan? Eventually I wish to have him as a Paladin, so.. Monk to level 18, then Warrior to level 37, and then Paladin.

We (Me, Frahlo, Mike) have been playing alot of GTAIV recently, just free mode really, mucking about, but for like 4 hours a session, EVERY DAY almost. Pretty crazy, but hey that's what holidays are for, some people go to exotic locations, I sit at home playing games. In my defense, I have been to America three times, Tobago, Ireland, many places in the UK, and France a couple of times.. just nowdays.. I.. don't like going places. I figure, all I want to do when I'm working, is relax and play games and talk to people, which I can do for (sort of) free, paying all that money to just go and sit in the sun and stare blandly isn't something that appeals to me, but oh well.

Here's my Taru, Beitetsu, from when I first was playing him, he looks the same now more or less, only he's got a wierd beret and angry fist weapons, along with Mike's Taru.

Who knows wtf I'm talking about, I probably saw an event and started screaming about it, I tend to do that.

See the kids have gotten lazy and so rockstar does not realize they are out there

there used to be horedes and groups of people actually trying to find the nex clue and or how to compile the fricken game themselves.  but from what I see, rockstar games does not see that the kids  need to hear  themn say "HEY STUPID WE PLAY A GAME OF  FIND THE CRAP, BEFORE WE RELEASE TO PC FIRST...... YES.... EVERY TIME"   They make us drool before we get the game. They make us prove we are the smarter of the gaming world.

The game is coming and we can see it in april from what i suspect and see. that puts us right in schedual for what they wanted in the first place, but a year later.  due to the hold of the 360 version and sony arguement.

Yes Grand theft Auto  is meant for the pc computer

Shock horror PS3 fans; Grand Theft Auto 4 is the absolute must have game to own on your amazingly underused consoles! If, for some ungodly reason you don't already own a copy then click for the link to sort this problem out sharpish and we won't have to tell your mates how much of a loser you are.

Anyway, after your finished completing the story mode of the game, which I'm sure many of you reading this will already have done - you find yourself making use of the GTAIV's unique and amazing ways to while away countless hours of fun even after the story is long over. Your sick little imagination is the limit here because you can do anything from buying clothes, taking helicopter tours, going drinking with your pals, maybe go to a gun store, purchase an AK47 and unload 500 odd rounds into an unsuspecting group of pedestrians... its your call..

One of the things I'd highly recommend you have a go at though is exploring the city and finding all the unique stunt jumps and other unofficial things you can use for some Evel Knievel style antics.

there are tons of misslead posts and fake youtube videos that show people playing the game. In most cases you can see the human clicking wrong to open doors, and his navigation is wrong, oir the head tilts without the free mouse roam a pc can give you. So it's clear the posts are missleading.

There is a forum that is created with hopes of gtaIv coming to pc, heck it even shows hope for liberty and vice city stories coming to pc. It even has a moddifications section already waiting. HERE is where everyone goes to just read, and occassionally post theories/hopes/finds/facts so others can help in the research of this/these game(s) coming to pc.

From the looks of things, if we can see anything, it will not be till April 09

After a nice night of unprotected sex, I finally decided at about 8am this morning to finally run through the last few sections of MGS4. Yes, this game is better than Grand Theft Auto IV (I'll upload the show GTAIV vs. MGS4 show in the real near future). This is arguably the greatest game of all-time! I sound like a fanboy, but fuck it! Do yourself a favor, buy a PS3 (if you don't have one already) and get MGS4, or fuck it, get the bundle! Save yourself some time.

Right after completing the game, I find out immediately that there's a whole 'nother game within the game! Don't worry, no spoilers, I'm just talking about Metal Gear Online. Where you create a soldier and face off in a bunch of different modes in the Metal Gear Universe. So in a way, you get to play the role of all the other soldiers you've been killing throughout the campaign. It's kind of hard to really explain and breakdown without you knowing and understanding the Metal Gear story. To make a long story short, any person who's ever loved video games, shit, anyone who's really loved a good movie needs to play this game. The unlockables are unlimited making space for multiple play throughs and a crazy amount of longevity. Thanks to both GTAIV and MGS4 (let's not forget COD4 which is still heavy in the rotation), I'll be in the crib for quite sometime now, haha.

These are the top ten games according to a massive poll at GAME.co.uk. I have to say it's relatively stupid that new releases are automatically branded with a top ten spot. The only new releases really deserving of that might be Gears of War and COD4. Though, COD4 does not deserve #1.

What I hate is that GTA IV even made the list on top 25, let alone 10. The game was amazingly over-hyped and failed to deliver on so many god damn levels. The missions were tedious, the graphics were good, fun stuff included just about nothing (actually just helicopters), online play blows, driving is terrible, you get caught by the cops way too easy not making it fun at all, your health goes down too fast, etc, etc... There's way too many flaws to forgive the game. Even still, it is worth renting and taking back when you're half-way through. I'll at least give it that much.

I agree with a lot of games up there though including Final Fantasy VII, LoZ, Super Mario, Goldeneye, and maybe MGS although I have a feeling people only remembered it for the new release MGS4. Definitely not the most accurate list but there are some dumb ass people who think Halo revolutionized gaming in some way when it really is no different from any other game. Talk about unbalanced bullshit weapons.

Grand Theft Auto (1997: DOS, Windows, PlayStation. 1999: Game Boy Color)

GTA foi lançado em 1997, desenvolvido pela DMA - empresa que mais tarde passaria a se chamar Rockstar North. O jogo chegou com um pequeno diferencial que foi - na minha opnião - o segredo do sucesso do jogo até hoje; o personagem podia passar livremente pela cidade, roubando carros, atropelando, cometendo diversos crimes, fugindo da polícia e ainda ganhando pontos e dinheiro com isso. Esse primeiro título chegou a ter uma versão no GBA Color, mas com bastante do seu conteúdo censurado.

Curiosidade: O nome original do jogo era Race N Chase, mas teve que ser mudado por já ter sido usado pela fabricante de brinquedos Matchbox.

Grand Theft Auto III (2001: Windows, PlayStation 2, XBox)

Experimentando uma nova visão de jogo, GTA3 foi um grande sucesso em 2001. A perspectiva 'vista de trás do protagonista' deu certo, embora o jogo ofereça a opção de se jogar usando a clássica persapectiva 'vista de cima', talvez temendo a não adaptação dos jogadores ao novo estilo. Em GTAIII, a história volta para Liberty City, com a saga de um protagonista sem nome e que nada fala, mas está disposto a tudo para se vingar.

Curiosidade: O 'protagonista sem nome' aparece em GTA San Andreas mais tarde, lá ele é chamado de 'Claude', o que nos leva a concluir que seja o mesmo Claude do GTA2, já que é uma continuação lógica.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002: PlayStation 2. 2003: Windows, XBox)

Vice City é uma viagem aos anos 80, acompanhada das roupas, veículos, ambientes e música da época. Yeah, I was disappointed when I heard this too.  But now that I play, Im not missing it all that much.  Would the game be enhanced with planes and parachutes?  Yes.  Am I playing happily without thinking about the missing planes and parachutes?  Yes.

I enjoyed all the empty space San Andreas had. It was a nice break from the Urban Environments. Nothing like driving in the desert as the sun set, while listening to Free Bird.  Some of the Desert and even the mountain/forest area were just cool to cruise through. I couldnt agree more.  Completely disheartening to know that enough chuckleheads needed constant action to whine about ruined my ideal of fun.  If you were out in the middle of nowhere and smashed your ride, YOU SHOULDNT HAVE SMASHED YOUR RIDE, ASSHOLE.

I still remember my most guilty pleasure from GTA3 I would use a cheat where all peds had weapons and they were also hostile then i would just sit back or drive around and watch the carnage i still remember when this one chick in a skirt wasted a cop car driving by with a rocket launcher -shyguy5454

I liked gambling on horses.  Still do, in fact.  I also suggest filling a bus with gang members and driving it off Mount Chiliad. They scream like little girls one by one as they get off the bus into a free fall.  Hilarious.

My stats claim Journey as my favorite radio station.  I listen to Radio Broker, The Jazz Stations (Fusion particularly) and Journey.  Journey gets a bad rap, but I think its great driving music.  It doesn't drown out the sound effects and the voices of NPC's.   Also, if you are in a cab and change the station, the way Niko asks is great;  "uhhhh, I don;t want to be trouble, but can we listen to something else, my friend?  I WANT to HEAR Juuuuurrrrrney."

Which version are you getting?  I don't care DLC because Im sure all versions will have some sort of exclusive downloadable stuff in the future. - HazzardUSS

Though the XBox Achievements looks pretty cool, I decided to run with a PS3 for a few reasons.  Blue Ray DVD player for my new 52" Flat screen, the friends I want to play with have PS3. (Save one important exception whos lady friend thought systems were the same and got him an XBox.  Hes not unhappy though, we're not Sony Fanboys or anything) im familiar with the controller, and I am pretty interested in PSHome to drop round Christmas.

I took Tuesday off of work to play the game all day.  Also, I pre-ordered the game at BlockBuster.   I showed up 10 minutes before midnight.  Was first in line.  Meanwhile Gamestop, less than 800 yards away had a line of at least 100 people.  A lot of stores re-opened at midnight, yet all I heard about was Gamestop, like the game was better from there or something.  I even got a free picture frame with Nikos picture inside.

New driving, Buy or Sell? cause it seams like the diving gets knocked the most and IMO the driving is great and much improved over past Gtas -jewbacca32

Ill be honest, I was worried it had ruined the game at first.  Now, I legitimately enjoy the challenge.  Its better than SA for sure.  Makes racing on-line fun, also.  And it is the main reason I now consider GTA no longer a game, but a simulator to avoid police capture.  Combine realistic driving with better cop AI, factor in the tactics you need to use to lose the cops, and this is no longer a game in my eyes.  BUY.

It is absolutely incredible.  I mean .. It's so amazing that I took a cab to my next mission, it was like an 8 minute ride, and I didn't rush the cab driver (thats an option). I just stared out the window and appreciated a living, breathing city.  Sorry, but just had to get it out there.  -Albino_Ferret

Taxis are great, they let me get to your destination in the amount of time I desire, with no hassle from the cops, while I learn about the city as I'm packing my bong!  Romans cab service is better even, because the poor guy astutely ridicules you for the entire trip!

For us Eastern European guys, GTA IV is heaven Finally a game we can relate too.. seeing the Albanian mob in the game is awesome!  San Andreas sucked balls.. worst theme ever -Negativiteen

The TV shows in GTA IV are amazingly funny. Such creativity, you can actually sit there and watch them for a long period of time haha. -Babedlam

Republican Space Rangers, for the win.  When they shot the tentacle off the purple octopus with the light bulb on his head offering  peace, I almost fell out of my chair. My friends and I have a controller rotation going. I get three mission attempts, safe house to save, watch TV while we all take a bong hit, hand the controller to the next man for his three missions.  The TV keeps us all well entertained.

Brucie is irritating.  Packie seems to run things effeciently, plus I feel like I am part of his family and he'll never turn on me.  Patrick, in a landslide.

Grand Theft Auto 4: Single Player Review (Playstation 3 Version)

Liked:

1. Amazing production values.  The sheer number of extras Rockstar has thrown into GTA4 is incredible. In game TV shows, comedy acts, cabaret shows, radio talk shows, fake commercials, the list goes on and on.

2. Superb graphics. I found the city, with all of it's detail, size,  cars and inhabitants, simply astounding.  Drive from the hood view in your car, and sometimes you can actually nearly feel liek you're really driving in a city. Occasionally there are some graphical glitches though.  I've seen cars just appear on the screen, tumbling over and over in place.

3. Improved shooting mechanic.  They definitely improved how you shoot compared to previous GTA games.

4. GPS driving directions. I love that yellow line that tells you where to drive to get to your destination.

5. Minigames. Bowling, darts, pool. They all work well. I don't find the urge to sit and play them for an hour, but when I do, they don't suck.

6. Great voice acting.  Characters, radio etc, it's all good.

7. Easier to evade police than in previous GTA games.

8. Flying helicopters was kind of neat. Wish the controls were different though.

Didn't Like:

1. The music selection.  Too much rap/hip-hop, and bands I've never heard of.  GTA Vice City had a fantastic 80s soundtrack that really fit the game. I'm disappointed GTA4 didn't have more mainstream radio songs included. That took away a little of the immersion for me.  I ended of listening to Vladiovostok FM mostly. Seemed to fit well with Niko's character.  A country music channel is a glaring omission here.  Oh they could have had SO much fun with the DJs on a country station too...

2. Some missions are controller-smashing frustrating.  I hated the ones where you have to chase some dickhead for miles through traffic, all while trying to disable his vehicle to make him stop.  Too often you'd end up ramming some traffic or running up and curb and flipping your car, while the target speeds away. One mistake and it would mean you'd have to restart the mission.  I also didn't like the racing missions much, for similar reasons.

3. Driving back and forth through the city gets old pretty quick. I'd ask for a quick travel system, but that takes away a lot of the point of the GTA games.

4. Glitches. There's several minor glitches visible while you're playing, but nothing game-breaking.  Stuff like I mentioned above with cars tumbling in place, or AI cars getting stuck on bridges. (the ambulance near the second safehouse)

5. You can only save at a safehouse.  (not counting the autosave)  It sucks if you need to get off the game to go do something in real life, you have to drive all the way back to a safehouse to save your game. If you're on the other side of the city, this could take several minutes.

On the Fence: (Stuff that could go either way on the score)

1. The Driving mechanics.  At casual speeds, I love how the cars handle. They feel weighty and in my opinion seemed to feel good to drive. However at fast speeds, I hated it. Especially certain cars. Some cars seem to spin out at the slightest touch.  The driving mechanics could really make some missions and races frustrating.

Yay:

The amount of effort Rockstar put into GTA4 is amazing in the age of cookie-cutter minimum content bullshit games. Rockstar has achieved the pinnacle of production value with GTA4. If only every game could have the same richness of content.  +1

Gay:

Despite the incredible production values and improved combat, I still find myself getting a little bored with driving back and forth, picking up people, taking them places and stuff like that.  It gets repetitive but you want to keep playing to see the next cut scene or unlock the next area or "thing".   -1

Final BS Rating: +3 HARDCORE

Closing Statement:

GTA4 is a great game, but it's not deserving of perfect 10s like a lot of reviewers were giving it. My opinion is that how could a game receive a perfect 10, when it had so many obvious glitches in it? Search Youtube and you'll find lots of videos showing off the glitches.  It's an incredible game, but far from perfect.

There's no surprises here. The [Grand Theft Auto] series have been a stellar hit ever since GTA III Hit Shelves back in May of 2001. GTA IV still doing very well since it's release on the 29th August 2008, selling 6 Million copies and bringing in $500 Million in it's first week of sales. But recently revealed over at GameSpot, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is holding pole position on the NPD groups Top Ten Selling Games in US History for April of 2008 with 9.4 Million copies sold. Amongst the list is also GTA: Vice City in 4th position with 7.3 Million copies sold and GTA: III with 6.2 Million copies sold worldwide respectively bringing the tally (without including GTA:IV) to 22.9 Million Copies. Very impressive Rockstar, very impressive indeed.
