Xbox 360 owners got the Rock Band 'export' feature added via patch last week and I was surprised to see that the PS3 version wasn't ready at the same time. Harmonix have announced that the 'export' feature, which allows you to transfer 55 of the 58 songs from Rock Band 1 to your PS3's HDD, will be coming out next week. As I said, the feature allows you to transfer 55 of the original 58 tracks on the disc. Hit the jump to see what they were and more.

The three tracks cut were:

• Run To The Hills (Cover) - Iron Maiden
• Enter Sandman - Metallica
• Paranoid (Cover) - Black Sabbath

The reason the patch was delayed was because Harmonix are now finally adding support for the Guitar Hero III guitar. Sweet! Now people (like me) don't have to shell out for another guitar.

Harmonix have also announced that the borked PAX themed track pack will also be fixed with the same patch. I might actually pick up the Jonathan Coulton song now.

The patch drops on Thursday September 11th. Thats next week people!

Oh yeah and it costs $5 to ransfer the songs too.
