I am so excited about your support, and as I said last week, here comes the improved HelloTxt. Let me get right to the point by listing all the new features:

- Multiple Social Service management. Allows you to have one personal and one professional Twitter account.
- New media management. This feature makes it easier to enrich your status with pics or video.
- Added advanced status. You can add a title to your status for the social services that allow it, like Tumblr.
- Post your pics directly on Tumblr. Soon available also for FaceBook and other socials that have pic management.
- Improved Account Page here, you can manage your LifeStream.
- Added comment on your Pics or Video and also Status update.
- Fully compatible with IE6 and IE7, Opera 9.x and of course FireFox, Safari and Chrome.

I'm testing the gTalk Bot for HelloTxt and other tools to allow you to have even more control over your status.
I'm pleasantly surprised that many of you like the Friend's Status Features. HelloTxt has needed a massage to be able to give those features. At the moment I'm working to power it. It will not be available for a few days.

HelloTxt looks like a prime player in integrating the growing list of lifestream and miniblog services. It has added new features such as SMS gateway, Email with image gateway, and video support.

Go try it out.

Plurk adds a timeline view, which allows for more interactivity with the short messages themselves, and also each message creates a "thread" so that replies can be easily recalled. Plurk seems to lend itself more to group conversations, while Twitter allows for powerful one-on-one conversations to which outsiders can easily respond.

One of the downsides of Plurk, of course, is that I have only one friend currently, and no fans, while on Twitter I have something like 20 followers (a paltry sum, but I'm proud of it). What's worse, it seems the user bases don't intersect all that much, or at least they don't yet.

What I WOULD like to see is some way to connect all of these services, so I can just use the "portal, and therefore interface, of my choice to communicated with multiple services. That would be quite neat.

There's also this article which is very enlightening and speaks to the differences between the two.

I think each has its uses, and I will be using both now, I think. Of course, there's also Jaiku, which is invite-only right now, and I hope to get an invite one of these days so I can check it out.

EDIT: Ack! I just found another, Brightkite. Invite-only as well.

EDIT DOS: I stumbled onto another service called HelloTxt. It lets you update all of your social media accounts at once. More info to follow?

The new sites compatible with Ping.fm include Twitter, Jaiku, Tumblr, Pownce, LiveJournal, Blogger, Plurk, Mashable, Xanga, Plaxo, BrightKite, Facebook, Myspace, Facebook, Hi5 and LinkedIn. Why on Earth would they do that? Out of nowhere. I've been using Facebook for awhile, it's not like I just signed up and they didn't like my password. I have a sneaking suspicion as to why.

I've recently been using HELLOtxt. It is a microblog system that allows me to type once, publish many. It allowed me to edit my Twitter, MySpace and Facebook status by typing one message and hitting submit. I just put up another message and both MySpace and Facebook failed.

I've reset my Facebook password and reset it for HELLOtxt as well. We'll see how it works.

However, there is already an existing service out there with 16 (!) social services integrated, including LinkedIn, Bebo, Plaxo, Jaiku, Pownce, Tumblr, and other international services. The service is HelloTxt. It has a mobile version that looks neat to your iPhone or any WAP phones and a Facebook application. We have previously covered HelloTxt here.

Socialthing will have to add more integrated services and features to its offering to make it a more compelling aggregation app.

HelloTxt makes it easy to make sure all of your friends know what you're up to all the time, no matter what social networking services they use. Actually, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but HelloTxt does let you post messages simultaneously to a whole slew of social networking sites that allow you to frequently update your status.

You don't need to register for an account to use HelloTxt, but as you've probably guessed, you do need to enter your login information for your various social networking sites. If you do register for an account, you only have to enter this data once, and then you can broadcast your updates to your hearts content. Registered users can also see a timeline with your latest updates and responses from their friends.

HelloTxt should also improve feedback status after one has sent a message. Currently it doesn't seem to have status report on your postings. The only way I know that these posts really get into the other services like Facebook is by checking my Facebook account.

HelloTxt is another simple solution to multiple posting, especially if you have several mini blog accounts.  I hope Hellotxt will create a mobile specific application for easier browsing and posting through mobile. A reason I would use this application is if I have to post to multiple mini blogs via my mobile phone. Or to broadcast certain messages.

HelloTxt can also stream friends' posts from the mentioned partner services, in Twitter-like fashion. I'll continue to use this application.
