Hot Wheels 1:87 Scale Bone Shakers

I came across this group last night and though they were pretty impressive all together. The scale may be small but the detail is surely not lacking. From the nicely done paint, to the rubber wheels, and chrome accents. This is definitely a winning casting. And even at the pretty price of $3 , it isn't for everyone, but for those who appreciate quality it is a small price to pay in todays quality lacking industry of toy cars.

I grabbed these since they were quite eye catching. The colors and styling just pop off the card. And usually anything prototype styled is a very nice addition into a collection. Amaury Diaz Serrano did a great job designing this car!

After seeing some cool Pixar CARS diecast this morning I cruised by the Hot Wheels pegs and a few rides stood out to me.

This Honda/Acura NSX modded up like the Super GT car is GREAT except for the STUPID wheel choice. I think they should have put wheels like the FTE's in the next picture on the Custom van.

I LOVE this van for somereason! And the color combo with the paint and graphics and the FTE's are SWEET!

And this DTM car named the Amazoom is modded after a DTM car. Can't tell if it is the Mercedes or Ford racer, but its sleek!

Finally after 2 months I have a day off and got around to hanging my 2 Acrylic display cases for my packaged cars. Emptying out some space in the closet and a little sweat and organization here is the beginning to end.

Now the sad thing about these cases are the slots are too small for longer diecasts, so only half of what I planned on displaying can go in right at the moment. I need to order some cases without the dividers to fit in the longer flatbeds and longer cars. But these will do for now. I also thing I will have a custom made for my choro q pull backs, as they would probably look really good in a case such as this.

For a few years with my visits back to Los Angeles I have continually had my eye on the Batmobile Tumblers at Collectable Diecast. Finally I broke down and grabbed both the showcase camo version and newly released boxed flat black version. These bad boys hold some serious weight!

While running through the aisles of Target on a kitty litter mission. I found these newly hung in the toy aisle. Had to get them to go with my newly purchased 1:18 scales and older 1:64 2 car set. Very meaty for their size. all diecast amazingly. and very finely detailed. definitely worth the $6 price tag *ouch* I just hope they drop a desert camo version as well!

Never knew Hot Wheels X IXO did 1:43 scale acrylic cased cars, but I recently found this amongst a bunch of other cars from the same line. I figured at a bargain price I will pick it up. Not a bad purchase. It will go along well with my other 1:43 scales.

While in Los Angeles I stopped by the Peterson Museum in downtown. After checking out the cool wings of the museum I stopped in the gift shop and noticed this snazzy little ride sitting there on sale nontheless. Had to get it! Rat fink and Big Daddy Roth are iconz in the automotive industry and to see the work on this micro bus by Hot Wheels, Breath taking!

True Hot Wheels castings with all metal bodies and chassis are worth a purchase. Not too often do you find that combo on todays Hot Wheels. And this panel is even tricked out with a motorcycle that rolls out from the rear of the panel! Nice work Mattel!

It’s galore...not “Gelora” yaaa...it just took me a second to decide going back to Melaka last Thursday. Since my last visit to my hometown didn’t quite success (in term of getting “drunk” eating the Duriansssss) i applied a leave for Friday and i drove straight back to Melaka that night. Lucky for me, durian dah gugur!! Yahoo..memang rezeki akulah balik masa tu. Not only i get the durians from my house, even my makcik gave me her duriansss..ahaaa why it doesn’t sound right!!!!! The only fruit that doesn’t make their “appearances” this year is Rambutan. Awat? Malu ka?? Ahhh don’t carelah coz i’m not a fan of rambutan especially the Red Rambutan..The yellow one bolehla..So every chance i got, i eat the Durian..even for my breakfast, my lunch, or dinner..the desert is always the King of Fruit (Who declare u the king arr) ..Ahhaa talking about breakfast, please please do not SMS me just typing “bf” for breakfast..kinda gimme a headache and wrong signal la deyyy....haiiiyooo...fening fening..

On Friday, i got a chance to stay at my sister’s house. I’m quite close with her kids especially the young one who currently being a “model” for my c# application. He should be at school that day but since i’m at his house, dia tak mau pergi sekolah....his parent pun faham...lagi diaorang galakkan budak tu tak pergi sekolah adalah...it’s ok lah since he just 4..he knows that i will bring him out...more over i promised him to buy something for his birthday. So i bring him to Mahkota Parade and went to the toys section. I let him choose whatever toys he wants and i ask CIMB Bank to pay it for me..easy huh???He chose Hot Wheel Car set almost RM80..nevermindla..amek jeee Hahaha..Talking about credit card, damn sungguh bank Negara. To encourage wise spending on credit card, there will be no more 20 days free interest after your statement came out UNLESS u paid full settlement for last month outstanding. That mean, every penny u spend, u gotta pay it full to avoid the interest. Alamak...my CIMB balance almost reach RM500 (haiyyoo kopak gaji aku bulan depan)...Serve me right....tapi Neo aku tu makan duit banyak sangat...Truth to be told...the car is not an asset...it’s liability...Orang suruh pakai Viva ko tak mau...aiyaa...serve me right lagi sekali...
