I just can’t seem to find any. Anywhere. At all. And i think that’s a big part of

I just can't seem to find any. Anywhere. At all. And i think that's a big part of my "problem" in life...or at least my perceived problem. I can't ever seem to have everything just right. I've talked before about the internal conflict and feelings of guilt I have from time to time about being a working mom. I can't ever seem to find the right balance between the energy expended at work and the energy required at home. I don't know if it's because my job is extremely mentally and emotionally draining or what but it just feels like (well...doesn't just feel like...there truly isn't) enough time in my days/weeks to get done what needs to get done. Most people in my position put in extra hours, and I'm sorry...I just can't do that. I don't have enough time with my kids as it is, I'm sure as hell not going to work late and go in on the weekends. Especially if my paycheck won't reflect it. So what do I do? Bust my ass at 210% all day. And where does that get me??? Exhausted at the end of the day and feeling guilty that I can't be the supermom I envision I should be. (to be fair to myself...I do a lot with my kids. I just have unhealthy and completely unrealistic standards for myself. I know this.) If I choose to spend some serious time with my kiddos, like I did this weekend...where does that get me? Completely stressing about not finishing the things I need to do for my clients. And where does that get me???

Sick. Run down, exhausted, and failed by my poor excuse for an immune system. Ya know where THAT gets me???

At home. On my couch. Feeling guilty as I stare at the laptop and the pile of charts and reports I brought home over the weekend "just in case." Feeling guilty about swinging through Wendy's for dinner and encouraging my kids to watch the Scooby Doo Halloween special because I'm too sick and tired to actively engage with them. (though again the little voice in my head...the tiny rational one that always get suffocated by my hugely unrealistic standards...feels the need to defend myself again because I did take them to ToysRUs to spend their piggy bank money after school and played grandma to Drama's baby while helping Boog build a new Lego spaceship before the TV started babysitting)

~~~~~~~~~~
On another note...while I was out with the kids today, at ToysRUS, I kinda wondered why the lady checking us out was looking at me weirdly.  Kinda like when you encounter a person with a really lazy eye and you aren't sure which one to look out and you find yourself very intensely staring at the bridge of their nose praying they can't tell when you know damn well that they can.  Only she was the looker and my chest was the lazy eye.  I thought it was weird, and it made me a little uncomfortable (probably how that poor lazy eyed person feels when you look at their nose), but I just blew it off as another person entranced by my lovely boobies.  Or I just thought she was weird.  I'll let you choose.
Then I got in the car and felt something weird when I sat down.  It was my underwire.  Sticking completely out of the top of my shirt.
Bitch could've said something.
Holy crap. You would think after the whole ‘engagement’ situation that my fiancee’
Holy crap. You would think after the whole 'engagement' situation that my fiancee's family would back off a little bit, considering the fact that he's moved out and on his own, and the fact that we've been together for over a year now.
I guess not.
It has come to my attention that i will never have a normal relationship with these people. I want to, but i can't. With all of their religious forcefullness, rudeness, bi-polarness, and awkwardness it's obvious that they do not want me with their son.
They've welcomed me into the family a grand total of 3 times, only to shove me right back out again and try to alienate me from their son. Will the rudeness ever stop?
My guess would be when i start popping out babies a couple of years after our marriage. That's when she'll (and sometimes he'll) come around. But they both have another thing coming. They cannot shit on me and expect to be treated with respect. I don't care if they're going to be my future in-laws, they need to treat me as a human being before i even consider having a relationship with them.
It's not like i'm being extremely demanding or anything, i'm just asking for a little respect. It's been over and year and it hasn't come. What the hell?
I understand that i'm not the girlfriend/fiancee that they imagined: i'm quiet, reserved, awkward, not religious, doesn't like name brand clothing, and an individual. They expected a neo-christian, brown-noser, who bends to their every will.
I've tried, and tried, and tried, but i haven't made any headway. I'm sorry Isaac, but i can't and probably never will have a normal relationship. You know it, and i know it. They're the ones that are shooting themselves in their own foots. They keep offending me, and hurting my feelings, i'm done.
Two Christian sisters battle to regain religious identity following forgery charges.
ISTANBUL, Octo
Two Christian sisters battle to regain religious identity following forgery charges.
ISTANBUL, October 10 (Compass Direct News) – An Egyptian Coptic Christian woman has been sentenced to three years in prison for failing to uphold her Islamic identity – an identity she didn’t know she had for over four decades.
Sisters Shadia and Bahia Nagy El-Sisi, both in their late 40s and residents of the small east Delta town Mit-Ghamr, were arrested and tried for claiming their official religious identity as Christian. Unknown to them, their religious identity officially changed 46 years ago due to their father’s brief conversion to Islam. Both are illiterate.
Shadia El-Sisi was tried for stating her religion as Christian on her marriage certificate and sentenced to three years in prison on Nov. 21, 2007. She was released two months later. Last Sept. 23 a judge also sentenced Bahia El-Sisi to three years in prison for “forging” her marriage certificate by stating her religion as Christian.
Their father, Nagy El-Sisi, converted to Islam in 1962 during a brief marital dispute in order to divorce his wife and potentially gain custody of his daughters, the sisters’ lawyer Peter Ramses told Compass.
Egyptian law is influenced by Islamic jurisprudence (sharia), which automatically awards child custody to whichever parent has the “superior” religion and dictates “no jurisdiction of a non-Muslim over a Muslim.”
If Bahia El-Sisi’s identity as a Muslim stands, then her religious status could potentially create a domino effect that would require her husband to convert to Islam or have their marriage nullified. Her children, too, would be registered as Muslims. Both women are married to Christians.
“All of their children and grandchildren would be registered as Muslims,” Ramses said. “[The ruling] would affect many people.”
Other sources said it is too soon to determine the fate of the sisters’ marriages and families, as neither of their cases have been finalized.
‘But I Am a Christian’
A few years after his conversion, Nagy El-Sisi returned to his family and Christianity. He sought the help of a Muslim employee in the Civil Registration Office, Ramadan Muhammad Hussein, who agreed to forge his Christian identification documents. Reversion back to Christianity for converts to Islam has been nearly impossible in Egyptian courts.
The daughters discovered they were still registered as Muslims when Hussein was arrested for forgery in 1996 and confessed he had helped El-Sisi obtain fake documents three decades earlier. El-Sisi was later arrested.
When the two daughters visited him in prison, they were detained and accused of forging their Christian identification documents, according to national weekly Watani. A criminal court gave them each a three-year prison sentence in absentia in 2000.
Shadia El-Sisi was arrested in August 2007, three days before her son’s wedding. Her first hearing was on Nov. 21, 2007 at the Shobra El-Khema criminal court; she asserted that she had no idea of her so-called conversion to Islam. Judge Hadar Tobla Hossan sentenced her to three years in prison.
Confronted with the sentence, Shadia El-Sisi kept repeating, “But I am a Christian. I am a Christian,” according to Watani.
She was in prison until Jan. 13, when Prosecutor-General Abdel Meged Mahmood retracted the sentence because she was unaware of her conversion by proxy and due to legal technicalities that voided incriminating evidence.
The advocacy group Egyptians Against Religious Discrimination also pressured the judiciary through a signature drive to release her from prison.
Bahia El-Sisi went into hiding following her sister’s imprisonment, but came out after news of her release. Legal experts believe that when Bahia El-Sisi’s case comes before the Supreme Court, her sentence will be retracted as her sister’s was, as their cases have no legal foundation.
Early in the morning of May 5, however, police arrested Bahia El-Sisi and held her in jail until her hearing on July 20, after which she was released pending the verdict.
On Sept. 23 she was sentenced to three years in prison for “forgery of an official document,” as her marriage license states her religion as “Christian.” Bahia El-Sisi was married years before learning of her father’s brief conversion.
Ramses will appeal to Egypt’s Supreme Court in next week. He said he worries the case could further erode the precarious situation of religious minorities in the Muslim-majority country of 79 million.
“How can the government say to [someone] who has lived 50 years in a Christian way that they must become a Muslim and their children must be Muslim and their whole family must all be Muslims?” he said. “This is very important for the freedom of religion.”
Egypt’s constitution guarantees freedom of belief and practice for the country’s Christian minority, which makes up 10 percent of the population. Islam, however, is the official state religion and heavily influences the government and court system.
The case is an example of the social pressure put on Egyptian non-Muslims to convert when one of their parents embraces Islam, despite the constitution guaranteeing equality, said Youssef Sidhom, editor-in-chief of Watani.
“This is a sick environment that we struggle to change,” Sidhom stated. “According to what is taking place here freedom is protected and provided for Christians to convert to Islam while the opposite is not provided.”
Egyptian courts have continued to discriminate against Christians who have one Muslim parent, according to human rights reports, as the judiciary gives them no choice but to convert to Islam.
On Sept. 24 an Alexandria court awarded custody of 14-year-old Christian twins to their Muslim father even though the twins said they were Christians who wanted to stay with their mother. Egyptian civil law grants child custody to their mothers until the age of 15.
Reiterating his pledge to continue mounting efforts for a repeal of Pakistan's controversial blasphemy laws, Shahbaz Bhatti, the Chairman of the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) has assured the family of a blasphemy-accused that the APMA would not rest until release of Dr. Robin, a Pakistani Christian homeopathic doctor who was arrested in May 2008 after he was accused of blasphemy.
Dr. Robin was accused of passing derogatory remarks against the beard of Prophet Muhammad.
He is currently detained in Gujranawala jail. Dr. Robin's family was forced to go into hiding as the family members of the accused cannot stay at their home after the stigma of blasphemy has been slapped on any of their family members.
The family of Dr. Robin and some 20 Christian residents of district Hafizabad had come to see the APMA Chief; Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, after Dr. Robin was accused of blasphemy. They apprised him of the insecurity they had become exposed to after Robin was implicated in a blasphemy case.
The APMA has been extending financial support to the family as well as free legal aid to Dr. Robin since the occurrence of alleged blasphemy by Dr. Robin.
The family of the accused including Veenus, 50, Tariq 42, Waseem Bhatti, 32 and Francis Masih, a relative of Dr. Robin came to the APMA office in Islamabad on October 3, 2008.
Describing the fear and uncertainty that gripped the family members following leveling of blasphemy charges on Dr. Robin, Waseem told ANS that they felt as if a roof had been snatched from them.
“We felt secure after we met the APMA Chief Shahbaz Bhatti,” he said.
“We wanted our voice to be raised. We were desperately looking for someone to steer us out of the problem we were confronting. We were praying for some help. We prayed to God and we knew our prayers were heard when we met Shahbaz Bhatti”, said Waseem.
The young Christian man went on to say that fears of sorts were assailing the family's mind after detention of Dr. Robin. They (fears) left us disturbed and helpless all the more, he said.
After incarceration of Dr. Robin, he said the family had lost the breadwinner and they were not in a position of hiring a lawyer.
“You need a lawyer to defend you even in a simple dispute. We knew we had to hire a competent defense counsel for Dr. Robin. It was again Mr. Shahbaz who extended free legal aid for Dr. Robin”, said Waseem as tears ran down his cheeks.
Waseem, who works as an animator in a local Non Governmental Organization (NGO) feared that it had become virtually impossible for Dr. Robin to run his clinic at the same locality.
He also ruled out possibility of any of his family members staying at the same place after leveling of blasphemy accusations on Dr. Robin.
“His (Dr. Robin's) family members are living in hiding. They have been able to find a roof above their heads with the help the APMA Chief extended to the family but you still feel alienated. You take time to settle down at a new place. You continue to live a tension-ridden life”, he said.
“The children of Dr. Robin have been robbed of fatherly love. Michael Rose, the youngest of Dr. Robin's children used to stay in a hostel. He does not feel comfortable staying at the hostel now”, said Waseem.
In response to a question he said that during this period of tribulation Dr. Robin had emerged as a strong Christian. He said his (Dr. Robin's) belief in Christ had only become stronger.
Tariq, a relative of Dr. Robin told ANS that Dr. Robin wished to be released as soon as possible.
He said the incident had come as a big jolt to the children of Dr. Robin.
He said they had not been able to concentrate on their studies fully after Robin was arrested by the police.
Francis, brother-in-law of Dr. Robin called for repeal of Pakistan's blasphemy laws.
Citing his talks with a couple of Muslim friends, he said that they were of the view that the law should be repealed.
“My Muslim friends admitted that a thorough investigation should be made before lodging of a blasphemy-related Police First Information Report (FIR)”, said Tariq.
Tariq disclosed that he had been able to record a conversation between the complainant and some family members of Dr. Robin in which the complainant tried to do a “deal” with the family of the accused.
According to Tariq, the complainant said that he would withdraw charges against Dr. Robin if his family agreed to pay him money.
He claimed he recorded the conversation on September 19, a day ahead of the hearing of Dr. Robin's case in a lower court.
Echoing a grave concern of Pakistani Christians, who like their fellow Muslim Pakistanis want their concerns to be highlighted on national and print media, Tariq said that Dr. Robin's case only drew marginal coverage of the incident.
Lashing out at the police he alleged that the police failed to provide adequate security to Dr. Robin's family.
“If the Police had provided security to Dr. Robin's family and his vulnerable relatives then they might have decided to continue staying in Hafizabad but in the absence of any such security the family was forced to go into hiding”, he said.
In an apparent bid to support his disbelief in the police, he said that police did not take initiative for rescuing Dr. Robin's family “rather some local Christians entered Dr. Robin's home at about 3 am and rescued the family members who had become prone to attack by the angry Muslim residents of Hafizabad”.
“Do you want us to jump into fire”, he quoted a police official as saying, who Tariq and other Christian residents of the area wanted to rescue Dr. Robin's family members.
Post-arrest situation
Tariq said when he and some other members of Dr. Robin's family went to Dr. Robin's place to collect some clothes, books and some other daily use items they saw a “shocking scene”.
“Not even a single thing was at its place. There were visible signs of human presence at Dr. Robin's house. It was not hard to conclude that some people have been living at Dr. Robin's house. We saw crumbs of bread, chicken bones, and unwashed dishes.
Dr. Robin's house had been ransacked”, said Tariq, who looked scared while sketching the ransacked home of Dr. Robin.
He said that the lower court rejected a post-arrest bail petition, prompting the APMA to file a petition in Lahore High Court.
Asked who could have inhabited Dr. Robin's house after his arrest and exiting of his family members, Tariq said that the fundamentalist Muslims of the area could have maintained their presence at Dr. Robin's house. Nobody could have dared entering Dr. Robin's home if the police had been vigilant, he said.
Tariq disclosed that a small but angry Muslim crowd took out a rally in a bid to pressurize the court.
He said that participants of the rally were holding placards, which were inscribed with slogans, “Give death to Dr. Robin.”
He disclosed that the witnesses at a court hearing had submitted their written version on legal papers that Dr. Robin did not commit blasphemy.
He said he learned that Dr. Robin's lawyer also gave precedents of post-arrest bails granted to blasphemy accused in the past “but even then the judge did not grant post-arrest bail to Dr. Robin”.
Talking to the APMA Chief, Mr. Shahbaz Bhatti, Veenus said that recording of the alleged conversation between the complainant and some family members further angered the local Muslims.
Thanking Mr. Shahbaz, she said she was optimistic that Dr. Robin would soon be home due to the APMA's efforts.
She said: “I urge the Christians across the world to pray for release of my husband from prison. I cannot give fatherly love to my children. We want him back as soon as possible”, she said while talking to the APMA Chief”.
The APMA Chief told ANS that he was going to urge authorities to do an in-camera trial of Dr. Robin for security purposes. An application in this regard would be moved soon, he said.
He assured the family of the accused that Dr. Robin would soon be with them.
“The APMA is concerned. It (APMA) has been since leveling of the blasphemy accusations on Dr. Robin. We stand by you at this critical juncture in Robin's and your life,” Shahbaz told the family of Dr. Robin who had come to see him at his office in Islamabad.
“It is the case of entire Christian community. When children of Dr. Robin talk to me by phone, I could feel the agony in their voices. I understand what they are living through. The APMA will do all it can to ensure expedient release of Dr. Robin”, said Shahbaz.
“We understand that the Pakistan blasphemy laws are being misused to settle personal scores. Religious enmity, prejudice and intolerance have been found behind filing of blasphemy cases in the past”, he maintained.
“God will move in His own mysterious way. Dr. Robin will be with you soon”, the APMA Chief told Dr. Robin's spouse, Veenus.
Shahbaz reiterated his pledge that the APMA would continue to extend free legal aid to the blasphemy accused.
He said the APMA would continue to struggle until the blasphemy laws are repealed.
A person is reduced to the status of a refugee in his country after blasphemy allegations are leveled against him, said Shahbaz implying to the threats the accused and his family receive after slapping of blasphemy charges.
Responding a question, he said the APMA had been providing free legal aid and shelter to the blasphemy-accused since the abuse of the law became rampant in Pakistan.
The APMA, he said, wants to see the controversial laws abolished. He disclosed that he wanted to table a bill in parliament in a bid to either get the laws repealed or see them significantly amended.
He appealed to the Christians across the world to pray for the APMA and Pakistani Christians.
“I thank you for your previous prayers and support. We need your prayers to be able to continue fighting for the rights of the marginalized and the down-trodden Pakistani Christians and other minorities”, he said.
Dubbing Pakistan blasphemy laws as a death warrant in the hands of extremists, Shahbaz called for the repeal of the law, which he said had done more harm than good since their introduction in 1986.
Report from the Christian Telegraph
Theres been a lot of talk, boy. Here in Dunnestown, a fella’s got to show more respect than yo
Theres been a lot of talk, boy. Here in Dunnestown, a fella's got to show more respect than you have of late.  Your dog bit David Patterson, Mrs. Patterson, and Mrs. Patterson's unborn child all last week. Tuesday you spat on penniless Carlton when he asked you for some tobacco, and I had to come and give him one of my chickens to pet 'cause thats the only thing that will settle him down these days. And you shot Richard Dawson over a two dollar poker hand in the saloon on Sunday. He was one of my best men, Dawson, and you took Dick's life on the day of the Lord. It seems you think you can just run around willy-nilly because I'm too busy with my sherrifin' duties. Sure I'm busy settlin' property disputes and making sure Carlton doesn't bite any little ones by the schoolhouse, but I'm never to busy to deal with your kind, and I ought to chase you out of town for your disrespect. And now I guess I have to. Because cowboy, this town ain't physically big enough for the two of us.
Dunnestown never was a big place, and thanks to your enormous girth it seems damn near tiny. I should have known you were trouble the day you came in and stepped on my foot, said excuse me under your breath, and accidentally stepped on my other foot while you shuffled around for footing. Instead of shooting you in the dirt right there, I took a step back and entered Clifford Township for some breathing room. I thought you'd be out in a day or too, blowing in fast and leaving quicker, like a tumbleweed. Instead, you stuck around like the tumbleweed that gets trapped between our thighs when we roll too close to each other at night.
A few days later, I figured out you were in no hurry to leave. Marty at the Dunnes Hotel told me you payed 3 months rent in cash the first day you got here. Said you were gambling and drinking like an old timer your first night.  Course, I suspected you were fixin' to stay when you put up those space-saving lofted shelves to keep your valuables handy without taking up too much room on the ground. Now you and your shelves have overstayed your welcome.
Things started turning bad when you got to harassing crazy Carlton, but they went from bad to worse when you started doing those ungodly calisthenics before you went to bed. I promised myself that if you kept elbowing my head and kicking my shins, I was going to do something about it. After watching hundreds of push-ups and half hearted "tummy tuckers" from Clifford, I knew you were dangerous. Despite your total lack of athleticism, you were too busy with your workouts to restrain your vicious dog. After that nasty business with the Pattersons,  It's my duty to bring safety to this town by taking you out of it. Maybe you'd feel more at home with men from Clifford or "sodomite Sequoiah." I'm sure one of them would sit on your back and "keep you honest" when you do push-ups.
To be frank though, I don't care care where you go, so long as it's out. About the time you shot Dick Dawson and started sleeping in a hammock over your dog, I started standing just inside the border of Dunnestown while you slept. I couldn't lie down or even crouch, but I decided that just being there was a statement that this place could not physically tolerate people like you. Each morning, I politely asked you to leave, but you ignored me. You shouldn't have been annoyed, because I was not technically touching you.
That was your last chance. Now get to leaving. I have considered other options, like cramming, burrowing, and stacking, but there just isn't room for more than one of us. The volume of the Dunnestown space is simply too limited .
In the real estate market of 2007 and prior – doesn’t it all seem so long ago? – first-tim
In the real estate market of 2007 and prior – doesn't it all seem so long ago? – first-time buyers were at a distinct disadvantage. The market was something close to rabidly competitive among buyers, and if you didn't have all of your ducks in a row, you'd lose out to the guy who saw the apartment five minutes before you. In fact, there was a chance that the guy that saw the apartment ten minutes after you had a suitcase full of unmarked bills and was just waiting to throw down.
OK, so the last part of that paragraph might have been hyperbole. But the point remains: It was tough to buy your first home. It's quite the process to begin with, but to have to compete with a seemingly endless set of other buyers made it feel next to impossible at times.
These days, however, the market for NYC apartments has become something akin to Goldilocks' porridge for first time buyers. It's not too hot, not too cold. Home values have stayed relatively steady over the past several months. Demand has dropped off just enough that first time buyers can spend a little more time getting to know the process, but not so much that buying is no longer a solid investment in many cases.
First-time buyers, of course, face other hurdles than just getting to know the process. They lack a track record with home loans, so, all things being equal, banks will consider them riskier investments than most potential buyers.
That part, at least, hasn't gotten any better recently. While mortgage rates remain quite low, the credit crunch and the press coverage of the subprime crisis has led most residential real estate lenders to tighten their lending standards, according to a recent report by the Federal Reserve.
Another thing that has helped first-time buyers recently: As the market has shifted away from being a seller's market, those with homes already that have to sell them first are at more of a disadvantage then they were when homes were selling like hotcakes. This has left first-time buyers who have been approved for a loan at a distinct advantage in the eyes of many sellers.
Python could do everything i wanted for my scripting, but it is currently impossible to embed it with restricted execution which sucks. This makes python the worlds biggest back door if used in my engine. I really wanted to use stackless python so i checked around looking for ways to block modules from being imported. Overriding __import__ is a waste of time cause then it still only takes a few extra lines of code to get what you want.
So i hope third times the charm, and i'm really glad i don't have anyone to answer to on this project. I'd probablly be fired by now. Wasting company time and all that. I'm back to square one but i ain't giving up, this game(which you know nothing about on purpose) will be completed.
Just gotta find a scripting language that does what i want(cause i really don't wanna have to make one).
btw if you really want to use python in try PyPy, i think its still has a few issues and only availible through svn so still not ready.
Peace out
Recently at school, on my way from Gym Class to Multimedia, and I don't remember how it came up, but I do know that my friend and I were talking about the concept of god. And as some of you guys already know, I am Atheist, for people who don't know, yes it is true, WARNING: "I DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD!!!!!!" and thats what I shouted out (except for the warning part.) Anyways, after I shouted that, a boy heard me and ran up to me. And all the way to Multimedia, he kept repeating the common phrase used by Christians against Atheists: "You're going to burn in hell!" And Mom and I were talking about that over our hot dog and potato chip dinner, and Mom said "Can you believe some people buy into that crap?!" :D Ha, it made me laugh, and then I thought something and I told it to her.
I thought "If the theory that god is our "Heavenly Father", in other words, we are his children, then he would never let his children "Burn In Hell". If he is truly our Father, then he would forgive us for our faults, like any parent would. He would not never forgive us if the Christian theory was true. Parents love us unconditionally, so I told Mom, so the concept of the Christian god is either a complete and utter moron, or he's "Somebody" taken over heaven." Mike, Lottie, you know who I'm talking about. But it goes to deep into my personal life I won't write about it on my blog, it's to personal. Well that's my opinion on hell, and a little on heaven and god.
Bye Peoples! :D
There once lived this boy about 13 years and he was a very what you’d called good person. He always had an eye in for the daughter for the priest, but she on the other hand was not so friendly with people, so the boy didn’t go and even make friends with her. They never even said hello, to each other. The boy thought probably the girl hadn’t even noticed him. They occasionally started senior high school and didn’t get to meet each other at all. The only place he had the chance to see her was church our young man, now about 17 years had even forgotten about trying to make friends with the priest’s daughter, he had let himself be filled with his books and other friends, certainly.
             One very hot day, the boy stumbled upon the email address of this girl who had had a crush on during his younger teenage years in a friend’s book. Without the knowledge of his friend, the boy wrote the email address of the priest’s daughter, with the mindset that if she replied, then well, if she didn’t, there wouldn’t be any difference. He never did sent her a message until they both completed senior high. Before then he had been hearing things about her from is friend who still didn’t know he had taken the information for his friend had earlier said the girl didn’t want to give it to anyone, but then he didn’t care then. Even sending her a message didn’t really occur to him.
               Some months after graduation, he sent her this mail address, introducing himself, and where he knew her from and all. Mind you the boy had now left the church due to certain problems his parents hand the priest’s parents had… in other words you could say there was a misunderstanding between the parents of the girl and the parents of the boy. It is worth mentioning because it was now that their children were going to grow fond of each other.
                  It took a while before the girl replied but at that time, the boy was staying with his aunt in another country on vacation. They communicated daily, so many times in a day through email until even they made long distance phone calls, so man times in a day. The boy so grew fond of her and it always blew both their minds how they were in the church but never talked and now that they weren’t they became best of friends. It was only a matter of months that our now 19 year old boy would in love with the priest’s daughter. They knew what would happen it they did, because of the family misunderstanding and all but they were willing to go ahead without the knowledge of their parents.
                  At this time the boy had returned back to his country, he had visited the girl a number of times, the more they talked, the more they connected and they love so grew. This happened until one day when the girl’s mother saw some messages from the boy on her daughter’s phone – she didn’t know it was the son of the other family they had a misunderstanding with – She talked to her daughter about the repercussions of a relationship. The girl told the guy, that he was the sweetest person she was ever known but she couldn’t make up her mind. She didn’t want to disobey her parents and she didn’t want to give up love. She contemplated suspending their relationship for a while but the boy didn’t to even conceive the idea of doing that. The girl had inspired him to write again, and had made him a much better person; he had entirely lost the emotion of losing his temper when he found her. She had made him a better person and with her his world was alright. They had both prayed over different issues so many times, hat had bonded then together, and now? He knew what could happen if they suspended the relationship so he decided that they wouldn’t suspend the relationship but they wouldn’t communicated that often in other to please the girl, though it was a hard decision to make, in order that the parents would know that they had stopped communicating and seeing each other.
                 Weeks later the girl grew cold towards the guy. He had always seen her laughing and smiling with other people but with him, she was indifferent. The guy wanted to find out what he had done wrong but she declined that he hadn’t done anything wrong, that he was perfect, but she didn’t want to hurt his feelings and she would if she continued talking to him. They boy was hurt deeply and he asked her if he was going to let me go. She said she probably won’t have enough strength to pull him up. The boy tried to not hear what se said and told her that he if she let him go he would climb back up. They said al this on phone and the girl said she wouldn’t continue talking and that she would make him more hurt and wanted to cut the line. The guy asked if he was going to hear from her again. She said, “she hoped not.” She loves the boy but when he asked her she couldn’t say it. The guy said that he still wanted to hear from her even if he had to always hear her talked that way and that he preferred hearing from her than never, after he said goodnight and sweet dreams, and cut the line….
        The boy knew she was doing that in order to make him just forget her and let their memory slip into oblivion… The boy thought why then destiny bring them together, if not to fight for their love and prove the whole world wrong, that their love was possible but the girl refused to heed him.
HOW DO YOU THINK THEIR STORY WILL END?
The pic above may be of Mission Impossible 2, but the new installment and probably the last part of the action packed MI series is Mission Impossible 4 according to sources.
According to MissionImpossible4.net, the cast and crew has not been finalized till now, and it is even not sure that if Tom Cruise is going to be there in the movie or not. But it is said that he has commented that he would surely be a part of the the fourth installment.
The cast and crew might be the same from the first three movies. Besides Tom Cruise, there may be a reappearance of Ving Rhaymes as Luther.
It has been announced that the movie may be released sometime in 2010. Well I was shocked to get this news coz, I had never expected that there would be a next movie after MI 3. If it is going to be there, it is going to ROCK !!!
What are your thoughts on the sequel ? Do you wish to see another MI ?
I know that I surely can’t wait “4” it to release.
Amidst upcoming, unfolding events, we have all started to hear and see the news information about newly discovered species, in places where they thought it was impossible and already explored. As I, and others before me have said, “Nature will find a way.”
I find it amazing that no one is connecting the dots as to why this would be occurring though. Why is Nature producing stronger, faster, sharp teethy, and toxic animals - again? I say again because look at the evolution of giant mammals after the age of the dinosaurs. Now, roll that timeline on up to thirty years ago, and roll it up to now. We are hearing and seeing evolution. But there is more.
Nature is gearing up. As I said questioned before in this blog, “what would happen if all of the animals disappeared?” Let’s for a moment theorize why that would happen.
Nature knows how she has gotten to this point. Nature knows her food chain has gotten tainted, by us. As colorful as we are, because of her, we have destroyed the balance to us. She is not at all happy about this. Nature has taken, or rather is taking back, the cute and cuddly. This is the same idea as the children’s book, “The Giving Tree”. Yes a very simple children’s book that we all read eons ago. The continuing to take and take will leave us with nothing better than a mere thought and book knowledge of cute and cuddly. This of course, cute and cuddly, will be in museums, should those still exist.
Simply stated: Nature is beginning her “war”. She is reorganizing the food chain and preservation of life. I touched on this not too long ago… see above.
Well, don’t believe me? Prove me wrong. Look at the signs. Open your mind to more than what you think you know. Here is a good example. Birds are killing other nesting birds young’s, while the parents are off scavenging for food. That means teeth, sharp teeth, are coming back into the fold of evolution - again. Off the coast of Australia is the Great Barrier Reef. The waters there are yielding animals now that we have never seen before. We are all over that area for studying! What happened in those waters? Answer: Human pollutants equaling the decimation of almost complete life on the reef, to include the reef itself. Plus, volcanic activity.
Read the science sections on the news links and go to the library and look at the science magazines. Our consumption of fresh water, producing TONS of waste, consumption of oil and fossil fuels, is making Nature find any means to survive.
People in South America have to be afraid of frogs now. Let me say this again, they have to be afraid of frogs. Why? Twenty years ago scientist knew and saw all known species of frogs starting to vanish. They tried then to send up the warning flags, which are now red, to the globe for efforts to be made to stop our ways. No one listened.
Now, fast forward ten to fifteen years, the frogs are back. Cool. Not really. The give off toxins. What does stupid man do? Try to eradicate them - again - though it is proven it’ll take a lot more than one frog spray or bite, to kill a single human. Stupid. So, frogs, they aren’t so cute and cuddly anymore, I wonder why?
As we continue to take more, kill more, pollute more, consume more, we are creating a situation where Nature will not, is not, going to take pity on us. Those bumps in the night, could turn into thumps! I wonder if the new species of animals coming in will drink fresh water, salt water, of if it’ll be something else?
Change is always consistent. There is always something happening, even if we do not notice it right away.
I’ve been meaning to start a blog and today, I decided it’s as good a day as any to do j
I've been meaning to start a blog and today, I decided it's as good a day as any to do just that!
I sent a text message out to about 6 friends and my brother yesterday asking for prayer. I was vague...i just said for "stuff." I promised most of them I'd elaborate later, but truthfully, the only reason I didn't elaborate at the time was because I wasn't sure myself what was going on...
I woke up yesterday morning feeling really discouraged. I don't like to use the word 'depressed' because I know there are people who truly do struggle with depression and I know I'm not one of them. (and I don't mean that in a prideful way...it's just like when you say "I'm starving" but then you realize you really aren't when you remember that there are people in the world who die from starvation everyday...that's how I mean it).
I know why I feel this way. I knew it was coming because of the events of the day/evening before. I don't mean to be vague, but for now, I'm not going to be too specific.
Basically, I got an opportunity to do something the other night that I LOVE to do. The opportunity only comes around about once a year and everytime it's over, I walk around for the next week (or two...or three...) feeling sad and "depressed" because I have to go back to normal everyday stuff and wonder when the next time will be that I get to do that thing that I love. And everytime, I regret not taking the opportunity to ask questions, find out if there are opportunities for me to do more, to get involved further so that maybe I can do this thing more often.
This time, I was determined I wasn't going to let the whole night go by without talking to one of the important people in charge.
Anyways, at the end of the night, I got my chance to talk to a very nice lady about what I can do help more often. I enjoyed the conversation and I really appreciated her for not letting me down too hard. But at the same time, It was one of those moments where I knew the conversation wasn't heading in the direction I had hoped either.
I've had over 3 years experience doing what I do, and because of that, I've learned that most of the people who do what I WANT to endup doing are there because they have personal connections (ie: family, friends, etc). Rarely ever is a "random" person asked to help in the way that I would like to.
So I expected to hear exactly what I heard during that conversation, but still, I was disappointed.
I felt like I had finally hit a major brick wall. One that I've seen coming for a long time, but hoped I could just bypass somehow and endup on the other side, where I think I want to be.
I'm just wondering now, when do you know something is impossible and it's time to move on?
We all know that "with God, all things are possible," (Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27) and that we "can do all things through Christ who gives [us] strength." (Phillipians 4:13). Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God wants to do in us "far above what we could ever ask or imagine,"  and according to Jeremiah 29:11, He has "plans to prosper [us] and not to harm [us]; plans to give [us] a future and a hope."In my life, I've had a really hard time balancing those promises with messages like, "Don't hold onto something so tightly that it hurts when God takes it away from you," (a quote I heard about 3.5 years ago and have always remembered and held close to me), and just being taught and knowing that we're to surrender our own plans to the Lord's will.
I know that what's meant to be will happen if it's what God has for me, but what do I do in the meantime? I can wait...It's not that I want everything written out for me right now (although sometimes I feel like little hints would be nice), but I don't know how to know when it's time to give up completely and move on.
If you have any thoughts, verses, quotes...any tidbit of anything you'd like to share with me, I would really appreciate it.
Blessings to all,
Courtney
