August; and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bogota, Colombia has opened its doors to the artists of Colombia to present their works at the August Salon. All formats and styles are considered by the curating team and that is what you will see there, although there is a preponderance for the newer styles, especially electronic/digital arts and for younger artists to get the opportunity to present their work.

I have to say that this Museum is one of Bogota`s best - though unfortunately as it is slightly off the beaten track of most tourists or even the city`s public it is not given the attention it deserves. Even the design of the building just tells us that it is a gallery! I definitely think it worth a visit if you are an art lover. Take time to talk to the staff as they are very friendly and ifnormative.

Directions:

As it "hidden" off the Calle 80 (going out of town before you reach the small San Francisco Mall which will be on the left after the set of traffic lights where you should have turned right). You can take a Transmilenio Bus there and then walk around 5 - 10 minutes. If you get to the main Transmilenio Bus Station then you have gone way too far. You should then ask someone as the side streets are a little confusing.

Da wir derzeit kein Repository in der Zieldatenbank installieren wollen (die installierte Datenbank ist 10.2.0.4, OEM kann in der 10.2.0.1-Installationsversion nur mit 10.1.0.4-Datenbanken umgehen), starten wir den Installer mit dem "-noconfig"-Parameter:

./runInstaller -noconfig

Wir wählen die Option "...mit bestehender Datenbank".

Eingabe des Datenbanknamens und des Verzeichnisses, in dem die Datendateien liegen -- natürlich OFA-konform... :-)

Weitere Informationen wie Hostname, SID, Listener-Port etc.

Wer die Schritte im letzten Artikel nicht genau verfolgt hat, muß jetzt ggf. noch einige Parameter ändern und/oder Packages installieren.

Dies kann man während des Installationsprozesses tun und die Datenbank neu starten. Der Installer wird nicht nach dem Klick auf "Weiter" immer wieder neu verbinden.

Konfiguration der optionalen Komponenten. Im Sinne einer einfachen Installation sollte man das nachträglich konfigurieren, sofern gewünscht.

Nun sind die Kennwörter für die Kommunikation der Agenten mit dem Server wie des SYSMAN-Benutzers einzugeben. Diese Kennwörter gilt es sich natürlich gut zu merken... ;-)

"Require Secure Communications" bewirkt die Verschlüsselung der Kommunikation der Agenten mit dem Server und ist in größeren Umgebungen grundsätzlich zu empfehlen.

Jetzt sind alle Angaben vollständig und die Installation kann beginnen.

Gegen Ende der Installation muss das obligatorische "root.sh" ausgeführt werden.

Im Anschluss folgt eine Fehlermeldung, dass einige Assistenten nicht ausgeführt wurden. Dies ist das gewollte Verhalten, denn deren Ausführung haben wir ja durch den Schalter "-noconfig" ausgeschaltet.

Das Protokoll zeigt nun eine erfolgreiche Installation ohne Ausführung der Konfigurationsassistenten.

Damit wäre der Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control in der Version 10.2.0.1 erfolgreich installiert. Es wurde kein Repository erstellt und die Software ist derzeit auch nicht lauffähig.

Im nächsten Teil werden die den OEM auf die aktuelle Version 10.2.0.4 patchen, die dann auch endlich mit Datenbanken der Version 10.2.0.4 umgehen kann. Das Repository wird dann mit der gepatchten Version erstellt.
