"Someone is spreading rumors about Blair and Jenny, but who?

Jenny is busy lying to her dad about a party that she's planning, but he saw the website for her shindig and knows what she's up to. He decides to think about things before confronting her.

Eric wants to know why Jenny hasn't been returning his calls. Jenny thinks he's jealous of Asher and is flattered E has a crush on her.

Unfortunately, she's already madly in love with Asher.

Across town, Georgina, under her fake name Sarah, has become pals with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa. She mentions that she would just love to meet Serena, who she's, like, totally never met before in her life. Dan runs the idea by S, but she's too busy studying to take her SATs. They plan a big dinner for the next night instead. As Dan walks out of the school, he sees Asher making out with... somebody. Male.

Rufus turns to none other than Lily for advice about Jenny (Taylor Momsen). He knows she's been lying, but Lily (Kelly Rutherford) tells him that she'll come back to him soon. The meeting turns awkward as Rufus sees Lily try on her wedding dress.

Dan decides to confront Asher with the news that he saw him making out with a guy, but Asher gets all defensive and homophobic. Jenny interrupts and immediately takes her boyfriend's side.

Dan asks Blair (Leighton Meester) and Serena for some advice, and B tells her that Jenny's only gonna believe the scandal if she hears it straight from Gossip Girl. Soon enough, everyone in school knows that Asher was caught making out with a guy. Gossip is great, but Blair is determined to get some evidence. Photo evidence.

Blair's girls steal Asher's (Jesse Swenson) phone and forward all of his incoming e-mails to Blair's inbox. Jenny is feeling awkward about her boyfriend's possible homosexuality. She confronts him, and he tells her that he's only dating her so she'll look good in front of her friends.

In case there aren't enough scandals in this episode, Serena (Blake Lively) receives a video full of debauchery from Georgina. In the video, we hear G telling some guy to set a camera up, and then it sounds like a (gulp) threesome going on.

What the heck did our girl do?

Gossip Girl then has more news:

Jenny apparently lost her virginity to Asher. Dan is furious, but Jenny explains that it's a lie concocted to cover up the gay rumors. Later, Jenny tries to leave for her party, but Rufus (Matthew Settle) tells her he knows she's been lying to him.

He tries to keep her from going, but she takes off anyway. Uh oh.

At a dinner with the van der Woodsens that she showed up unannounced for, Georgina throws Eric out of the closet and tells Serena and Lily that she saw him making out with a guy. Eric admits to it by refusing to deny it, and Lily is shocked by the news.

Serena tells Eric (Connor Paolo) that she'll be there for him no matter what, and E admits that he met Asher at the Ostroff Clinic.

Then, Serena meets up with Dan and "Sarah." S quickly sends Dan for a cup of coffee, then asks G what the hell she's up to. Apparently Serena didn't even know the sex tape existed. Georgina threatens to show it to Dan if S doesn't remain on "her best behavior." OMG!

Not only is Eric crashing Asher's party, but B is too. She gives Asher his cell phone back and tells him that she knows his secret.

That's when Eric steps up, admits he's gay, and tells everyone at the party that he was the one making out with Asher. Blair quickly sends the e-mail proof over to Gossip Girl, and soon Jenny's friends turn on her.

Lily apologizes to Eric for her reaction earlier. She admits she's scared and wants to protect him, and they share a nice moment together.

Jenny and Blair talk, and J admits B won the social war. Jenny no longer wants to lie to family and friends. Ending up like Blair Waldorf just isn't worth it.

Dan and Serena are having another argument, all due to S' refusal to tell the truth. She tries to convince him "Sarah" is untrustworthy, but he thinks she's nuts since she just met her.

After Dan takes off, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) admits that she just wants to be friends with Serena again. It isn't long, of course, before she's talking of blackmail and destruction yet again.

Jenny returns home in tears, having broken her dad's trust and lied many times, but he forgives her anyway. Across town, Serena can't take it any longer and finally tells Blair her big secret: she killed somebody."

Eric and Asher. They started at the Ostroff center, now they are so comfortable lip-locking on the highway shores of New York. The lesson? There is always a public bathroom to accommodate the pleasures. Oh my. Bad example. What I meant was, the nearest hotel when you are anywhere in New York is inches away. Are the urges that unrestrainable? Well, good thing we now know that Jenny has a Midas touch on the men (or boys) she dates. That is, her touch makes anyone gay. I wonder how often Dan and Rufus gulp the antidotes.

Serena's Threesome Scandal. The moans came from G and S while they were filming an erotic indie storyline-less fit-on-online-porn-sites threesome action. Of course, it shouldn't be flashed on public TV without the blurring pixels on the private parts. The thing is, when Serena finally became good the evil started to haunt her. Well, it goes with some reality though. And hopefully bestfriend B can do something with it by mustering all the bitchness in the world and screw that G or the venom that she spits. The lesson here is that vanity is a bad thing. As vague as that. No, I mean, why film all the nude act when you can do it anytime you want?

Serena's Murder. Oh yes. She whispers to B the untold story of why she left NY and settled for some other random american state. Probably the guy with them on the video? The plot is thickening and we would eventually witness that in the next few episodes which unstoppably hauls me up to now like a cheesy junkfood.

So basically that's it. You don't have to show some immorality to be Prince-ish. I can do that whole thing under the sheets. Not on the sturdy bench in the park. That would be uncomfy.

Gossip Girl will be out for another episode this Monday and I believe it's the most teasing (currently) as the promos have ignited some bombs. I was totally intrigued. The first promo that I saw flashed Blair (Leighton Meester, shown on the right really upset) crashing through Jenny's (Taylor Momsen) party (that I think would be thrown for her by Asher (Jesse Swenson), Jenny's "King" because the poor social climber [Jenny] cannot even afford a bottle of high-class wine). And yeah, Blair crashes and shows her posh phone and she was like “Where's the host? I have something for him.” So what will she show Asher? Some porn video featuring the hunk? We have until Monday to cure our curiosity. The clues are revealed in the promos in increments that will pull a lot of viewers due to the web of possibilities they reveal. Like in the second promo I watched, I saw Serena (Blake Lively) watching a video in her crimson laptop with some moans overheard. Is that what's inside Blair's phone? Or was it a completely different issue for Serena that's under the dark skirts of Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg)?

I am so excited to watch episode 16 which is I think subtitled “All About My Brother” which leaves only Eric (Connor Paolo) and Dan (Penn Badgley) on the spotlight. But who's gonna steal the limelight on the show? I think it's Eric with Asher. I have this gut feel. Hazel (Oh yeah, she has a significant line for the first time and I don't really care who plays the role) spoke in the promos, with her rude accent, “It's kind of hard to party when the GAY BOMB drops!” So I was like, (lamp lights over the head) “Asher and Eric?” Hope the rumors are true because if the hideous homo role goes to Chuck (Ed Westwick), I would totally abandon Gossip Girl. Blair and Chuck should be the pair of the happily ever after. And I don't care if it goes to Nate, played by Chace Crawford, (which is most unlikely) but I hope it would to add some spice in his monotonous emo character.

Yeah. And I have this thing for a pastime. Sometimes, anticipation has grueling yet satisfying effects. The thrill and shivers and heart-pounding minutes before the revelations feel so good. I dunno. Are princes ought to feel the same way?

Kelly Rutherford ha rivelato in un'intervista che il fratello minore di Serena,Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo) sarà il personaggio che si rivelerà nel corso delle prossime puntate di Gossip Girl; precisamente nell'episodio del 3 maggio. 

In questi giorni circola inoltre, un altro pettegolezzo. Sembra che Eric dopo essersi rivelato gay, interagirà con il nuovo ragazzo di Jenny (personaggio che entrerà nel cast nei prossimi episodi e sarà interpretato da Jesse Swenson.

Guess you've heard the news already that Chace Crawford (a.k.a Nate Archibald) and singer Carrie Underwood are no longer a couple. Underwood said during the Idol Gives Back this week when asked by the nosy reporters: " We broke up over text so it's like peace out.It's completely mutual, we're both fine. We haven't talked in a while but I don't dislike him. It's no big deal."

Now some spies for The New York Post are claiming that they saw Chace and new Gossip Girl cast member Michelle Trachtenberg (a.k.a Georgina Sparks) flirting with each other at Soho bar, Upstairs. Michelle was drinking a beer and snuggling Chace.

Okaaayyy. What I'm more interested in is who Ed Westwick (a.k.a Chuck Bass) is flirting with at the moment, haha! I heart Ed/Chuck, enough said.

A new Asian-looking cast member replaced Nan Zhang (who played Kat) since the latter entered Brown University during the writer's strike last year. No word yet on the name of the actress and whether she will still play the role of Kat or an altogether different character:

New cast member Michelle Tachtenberg, who plays Georgina Sparks, will make life miserable for Serena for she holds the key to Serena's past. Such a "shady" character indeed (lousy pun I know, hehe):

Remember the hot pink boots that Vanessa (Jessica Szhor) wore in previous pics from the set? This time around, she wears the same type of boots but only in striking green!

Little J seems to be getting serious with new cast member Jesse Swenson. No word yet on what Swenson's name will be in the series but he will supposedly hook up with Jenny in the succeeding episodes. He plays a dog walker, as well as a student from a rival school.

So I guess there'll be no Jenny and Eric van der Woodsen hook-up soon. But that's okay I guess. It will be too much if they date each other, knowing that Dan and Serena are currently a couple and that their parents Rufus and Lily were once lovers. *lol*

In an old blog entry of mine, I recounted that it was rumored that Gossip Girl's Jenny Humphrey will hook up with a dog walker. It looks like there's some grain of truth to the rumor when Taylor Momsen (a.k.a Jenny Humphrey) was spotted filming in NYC with new cast member Jesse Swenson.

According to reports, Swenson was a theatre major at Boston Conservatory. He's currently an understudy for the Broadway musical Spring Awakening as the character Melchior Gabor.

Anyway, I really thought that after Episode 13, Jenny will either end up with Nate or Eric. Since there were recent pics that surfaced however showing Nate and Vanessa snogging each other, I guess Eric must be it. But then again, I think it will be his character that will come out as gay as mentioned by the Gossip Girl insiders. Please, let it not be Chuck. ('Cause in the book series it was him and Dan who had gay encounters). I've always wanted Blair and Chuck to be together so there.

As for Swenson, he's got boy-next-door looks. Hopefully his theater experience will add some oomph and depth to the character he's playing. I have  a feeling he will neutralize my negative reaction towards Jenny, I just find her character so annoying. That being said, I can't wait for the series to resume 3 weeks from now, yeah!
