Within its pages, a fabulous quote from Simone Legno, the illustrator for Tokidoki: "Hospital rooms, especially the branches where kids are, should be decorated with cute characters, positive colors, everything would give them a smile or strength to spend in a better way thier hard moments." He's right! It got us thinking about how cool it would be to decorate children's hospital rooms with artwork from peeps like Tokidoki, Friends With You, Tado, and yes, our guts, a la the Volkswagen/Hotel Fox project in Copenhagen, where each room is transformed into a happy world. Spend 5 u.s. dollars in China and you get a massage, pedicure, manicure, and a hair cut. (however, I wouldn't advise getting a pedicure in most place there) B) Females in other countries care a lot more about their appearance and they aren't afraid to experiment with style... C) Cheap clothing in America looks cheap and doesn't last long at all.

Wake up ladies and gents of America not only is our economy suffering our damn sense of fashion is still stuck in the dark ages. Don't worry it's not your fault it's just that our sources are limited. Well ladies I have good news for you If you don't mind shopping online then I found a place to shop. Not only are the clothes superb but the prices are reasonable and if you spend enough you'll get free shipping. The best thing about this site is they show you how to mix and match items that you would have never thought to mix up. The place to be is Yesstyle.com.. fashions for men and women. I'd say the prices are similar to shopping at Forever 21 or the equivilent however the quality is much better. Take a look I'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

I just got this today! (after what, 6 months since pre-order?) Doko Demo Toro is full of epic win. You cannot deny it. Even Konata agrees!

Twice I almost cancelled. But the little Space Invader on the shirt won me over. It's the 30th anniversary! That's as old as me! Talk about a blast from the past. In a way this tells me that I'm really old. (but never too old to buy a stuffed toy?)

You know that I'm all about details. The little strings on the front, and the impossibly small hoodie in the back. KAWAII!!

I'd say not bad for 980 yen. This one is definitely going to sit in my car.

Parece que ya todo vuelve a estar en orden con el ordenador (he tenido que comprar otro...) y que la conexión está como en sus mejores momentos; pero como no se puede tener todo, me he resfriado. Hace una hora que no puedo respirar y que tengo mucho frío. Además hoy me toca cena con los compañeros y voy a estar con el clinex y los mocos dando lo peor de mí... Pero bueno, a lo nuestro:

Hace poco que descubrí los Hama Beads. Son una especie de abalorios cilíndricos con los que se pueden hacer broches, posavasos...

Se colocan en una base que tiene unos pinchitos donde vas incrustando los hama beads haciendo el dibujo que quieras. Después se coloca un papel especial encima y se plancha. Esto hace que los hama se queden pegados entre sí, cuando el papel se haya enfriado, y tengamos nuestra figura.

Una vez que tenemos nuetra figura hecha, le podemos pegar un impredible, o un cordoncito para colgar del móvil...

Es impresionante la variedad de diseños que se pueden hacer:

Estoy a ver si me animo a comprar algunos y me pongo a desarrollar mi creatividad. En ebay no hay problemas en encontrarlos poniendo Hama Beads o Hama Pearls.

Nada, nada, a ver si alguien se anima (empezando por mí).

Les fashion victims (et non addicts) ne savent plus vers quelle icône Kawaii se tourner.

Bob l' Eponge semblait prendre sa revanche ces dernières semaines, mais Kitty ne se laisse pas abattre si facilement!

Et oui, au Japon, l' égérie de toutes les petites filles : Barbie (qui sait suivre les tendances des scènes de concert, de la rue et parfois des podiums) arbore fièrement sur ses accessoires (ceintures, sac, collier) et blouson la petite tête de Kitty.

 

Malgré le caractère humoristique que pourrait avoir une telle information, l' association entre Kitty et Mattel est vraiment très intéressante d' un point de marketing. Est-ce Hello Kitty qui vient servir Barbie ou l' inverse?

Je pense que les deux marques se complètent parfaitement. Et je dois reconnaître que le travail de Mattel au niveau du stylisme est vraiment pertinent.
A quand, la Barbie H&M vue par Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld ou Viktor & Rolf??!

Los volantes, las rayas, los cuadros y las fresas se superponen,  los flequillos se llenan hasta limites increibles de ganchitos y horquillas, de su cuello cuelgan muchos coloridos collares.

En un principio se llamaba shinorer , ya que la fundadora fué Tomohe Shinohara, quien se vestia con muchos accesorios.

Como otras tribus o modas también implica una actitud, en este caso divertida rozando lo infantil. Hay bastantes teorias al respecto del nacimiento del kawaii y de estas modas, pero a mi personalmente la parte que más me interesa es la visual.
Es bastante frecuente verlos en Harajuku (es un distrito de Tokio), donde los fines de semana se reunen diferentes estilos y tribus.
