Per quanto riguarda Zac Efron, invece, recentemente è stato intervistato dal Daily Record sul film di prossima uscita e sulla sua relazione con Vanessa Hudgens; di seguito ho tradotto alcuni stralci dell'intervista, che si può leggere integralmente sul sito del Daily Records!

[...] Zac, che compirà 21 anni a breve, è assalito dalla folla ovunque vada - anche sull'Isola di Man dove ha girato un film all'inizio dell'anno, ma sembra che il ragazzo riesca a gestire la sua fama mondiale.

Capita spesso di ricevere abbracci e baci da parte di persone che non conosco, dice Zac. E' difficile avere una vita normale perchè la gente mi riconosce.

Se ho per caso qualche influenza sui ragazzi, spero sia per il mio lavoro piuttosto che per la mia vita privata. Preferisco lasciare il privato fuori da tutto. Non voglio che quella parte della mia vita diventi di dominio pubblico. E' così che le cose iniziano a diventare folli.

I problemi per Zac derivano, comunque, sia dall'essere la star di un enorme fenomeno televisivo e commerciale, sia dall'essere il compagno di Vanessa Hudgens, 19 anni, che interpreta la compagna di classe Gabriella Montez, l'innamorata del suo personaggio Troy Bolton.

Se Tom Cruise e Katie Holmes sono Tom Kat, Brad Pitt e Angelina sono Brangelina, Zac e Vanessa sono noti a Hollywood come Zanessa. Il giovane attore minimizza: Tutto quello che possiamo fare è riderci sopra.

A parte questo, Zac tiene per se i dettagli del suo rapporto con Vanessa, dicendo solo che è una "ragazza fantastica".

[…] Vanessa si è classificata al numero 12 nella classifica delle donne più sexy di Maxim e Zac è orgoglioso di lei. Dice: Non sono il tipo da 'Non voglio che nessuno la guardi'. No, sono fiero di lei. Se lo merita.

Anche se il successo improvviso li ha resi così famosi da avere un nome identificativo e un fama inimmaginabile, Zac sostiene che la coppia ha funzionato sin dall'inizio. Dice: Abbiamo lavorato insieme sin dalle prime audizioni. Ci siamo divertiti fin dall'inizio. Dalla prima audizione. Sapevamo che le possibilità di farcela erano minime, quindi siamo entrati e abbiamo dato tutto noi stessi, divertendoci. Alla fine della giornata, le nostre immagini erano sempre accoppiate e recitiamo insieme ancora oggi.

High School Musical 3 will be in theaters before we know it. New songs from the movie's soundtrack are starting to trickle out.  Released just today on iTunes is a track by the cast called "A Night to Remember". A small clip from the music video shows the cast dancing on prom night.

High School Musical 3: Senior Year is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 24.

The great thing about living in Salt Lake City is the fact that we do film a lot of movies here. Right now HSM is one of the biggest franchises out there. It is a movie that kids of all ages can relate to! (Even my parents like it!) And I'm gonna give you the dirt on what it was like to be on set with Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and Olesya Rulin.

The first day that I was able to shoot for the movie was around 6pm on a Saturday. I had just finished filming "The Assignment" and was a little tired of waking up so early (our calltime was usually 6am). I thought this was going to be a great change. The first thing that they stressed to us is NO CAMERAS ON SET! NO CELL PHONES ON SET! If they saw them out they would take them, erase all the data, and Disney lawyers would be in contact with you. They know how to make a GREAT first impression. Our call time rolled around and we headed off to wardrobe. Wildcats EVERYTHING!!! Sweaters, shoes, pants, you name it they had it emblazoned with the East High Wildcats logo! The sweaters were actually pretty cool and were fairly warm because it was FREEZING that night.

Next we were off to make up. Luckily that didn't take too long...a little foundation, blush, and matte powder and I was good to go for the night. Suddenly Vanessa Hudgens walks into the make-up trailer and it went silent. I think we were all a little surpised that we were sitting by her haha. She said "hi" to everyone and was really very sweet.

Then it was off to set! The setting for the scenes that night were at Troy Bolton's house. We were going to have a HOUSE PARTY!!! The Wildcats had just won a Back2Back State Championship in basketball! And the party was out of control!!! They gave us food, cake, deserts GALORE!!! (although it was movie food and had probably been out for days on end.) It was also a ton of dancing!! I love to dance and move it. Hopefully you can see some of that in the movie ;)

Kenny Ortega is an amazing director and really made us all feel like we were the ones that were making this scene happen. After being hushed a thousand times by all the assistant directors, Kenny came on his microphone and said, "This is real life people! I want you to be loud and scream and shout! This isn't just about these 7 kids, it's about all of you!!" The screams were out of control and we were underway.

A few hours later...it was 2am and we were all drained of our energy. We had been dancing for hours straight and weren't able to sit down and rest much. Then they brought in more food for us. They wanted us to be excited, energized and read to shoot for the next four hours. It was INSANE! All of a sudden it seemed like the party had just started..AGAIN!! There were hundreds of extras on set and the party looked amazing.

After most of the party was shot, we did some dancing underneath the tree house, while Zac and Vanessa had a heart to heart moment with each other up in the tree house. The night was freezing and we were pretending that it was almost summer time. They brought out heaters for us to stand by and keep warm during the later hours. FINALLY! shooting for the night had come to an end...it was 6am and the sun was starting to rise! Only a few more days of the night shoots to go. And I thought that a 6am call time was bad! YIKES!

I can honestly say that this movie will probably be the best of the three. The script is better written and the music has more hype than the second one. It is going to be one of those movies that you DON'T want to miss! You can even purchase your tickets online in advance HERE!

I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be a part of this movie. Even if I wasn't a lead actor or had any lines. It was like being part of something bigger than anything that I had done before. It really gave me a taste of the success that I want, and the opportunity to get my face out there.  Who knows maybe I could star in High School Musical 4? We'll have to see on that!

A Parigi sono presenti Zac, Vanessa, Corbin, Ashley e il regista Kenny Ortega! In Francia il film debutta nelle sale il 22 ottobre. Lunedì 29 i ragazzi sono stati ospiti di una bizzarra trasmissione francese... Zac era un po' imbarazzato, non è poi così sicuro di sè come sembra! Martedì 30 i ragazzi hanno firmato autografi agli Champs Elisées, prima della proiezione del film. Il 01 ottobre i ragazzi dovevano partecipare a un Photocall, che però è stato cancellato, sembra per motivi di eccessivo ritardo del cast. L'intervista radiofonica che hanno registrato sarà invece trasmessa il 22 ottobre, giorno del debutto del film nei cinema francesi.

About a month ago, we informed you that a Beverly Hills Ninja sequel was planned, titled Tokyo Jones: The Legend Of The Dancing Ninja and written and directed by one of the original's scribes, Mitchell Klebanoff, who'll thus make his directing debut.

Now the cast has been announced and it's appropriately epic: cult favorite David Hasselhoff (Anaconda 3: Offspring), Lucas Grabeel (possibly the only High School Musical regular to have escaped fame) and Chiling Lin supposedly "the most well-known fashion model from Taiwan" according to IMDB.

Don't lie, you NEED to see it. My roomie, another guy friend and I all watched the first two over the past few weeks and we're going to see the third together! It's gonna be AMAZING!
