"Esperamos que esta capacitación sirva para que las lideresas del distrito entiendan la necesidad de prevenir este tipo de enfermedades y hacer la réplica respectiva en sus organizaciones. La salud es tarea de todos", aseveró la autoridad edil.

Por su parte, Emilia Rengifo Pezo, responsable de prevención y promoción de la salud de Idips del Norte, señaló que el proyecto denominado "Mejora de la atención al usuario con tuberculosis a través del fortalecimiento de la sociedad civil y la participación ciudadana en la provincia de Ascope" se ejecuta en los ocho distritos de la provincia. Rengifo Pezo señaló que existen dos tipos de tuberculosis: la TBC sensible, que es posible curarla en seis meses, y la TBC multidrogo resistente que es muy complicada y el tratamiento, que dura aproximadamente dos años, maltrata mucho al paciente. "En la jurisdicción del centro de salud de Chicama el índice de casos no es alarmante porque sus sistemas de prevención han funcionado adecuadamente, no se han reportado casos de TBC multidrogo resistente, sólo existen ocho casos de tuberculosis sensible, cuatro en Chicama y cuatro en Chiclín", destacó.

Situación de la provincia

La representante de IDIPS del Norte dio a conocer que Ascope es la segunda provincia con más casos en La Libertad. "El pico de los casos esta en Casa Grande, en Ascope distrito y en Paiján. Por ejemplo, en Casa Grande se han reportado 14 casos de tuberculosis multidrogo resistente.

Un taller de capacitación en medidas preventivo – promocionales, con el propósito de mejorar el tratamiento de los enfermos de tuberculosis, se desarrollo con éxito en el distrito de Chicama, el último viernes 10 de octubre. El evento, organizado por la municipalidad distrital de Chicama, la ONG IDIPS del Norte y el centro de salud de Chicama convocó a cerca de treinta directivas de los clubes de madres y del Vaso de Leche de Chicama y Chiclín. “Es necesario concienciar a las personas del riesgo que significa la tuberculosis cuya incidencia va en aumento, por eso intentamos llegar a los líderes de opinión con un concepto básico y sencillo que puedan trasmitirlo fácilmente”, señaló la Dra. Marilyn Sabogal Deza del Centro Materno Infantil de Chicama.

Primeras palabras de un post dedicado que luego no continué. Y que ahora retomo. Acababa de hablar contigo a través de varios medios telemáticos y semivirtuales (en una semivirtualidad aún incómoda) y tenía sabor de ti. Estaba en tu dormitorio. Me rodeabas con tu espacio, con lo que había conformado tu imagen durante los primeros días, una burbuja intacta, algo así, un museo...

El problema de los museos es el siguiente: matan lo que hay dentro, o bien se aseguran que lo que hay dentro está muerto. Antes de escribir la palabra "museo" me ví tentado a colocar en su lugar el término "mausoleo".

Ni lo uno ni lo otro. Yo era aquel espacio frío, una superficie impoluta, como una pared blanca, desnuda de tiempo pasado alguno, sin rastro de vida. Me sentía sin ti, en Bilbao, vacío y absurdo, como aquel escaparate de Juan Ugarte que hay frente al portal de tu casa.

GLAMOUR,es un estereotipo?,una manera de ser?,de vivir?,un término inventado para vender?

Autoestima, personalidad y seguridad en uno mismo, a priori es la base por definición. Pero debe haber algo más que no todo el mundo tiene, una esencia única y distinta a los demás,lo que los expertos denominan...glamour natural. Es la esencia que se idealiza a través de una actitud.

De todas forman también dicen que "Aunque algunas personas nacen con esa cualidad, todos podemos desarrollarla".

No se trata pues de ir a la moda, pues precisamente la tendencia mata la elegancia. Tampoco ir de diva o iluminada, sin compartir una vida social con todo el mundo. A las horteras se las critica y a las glamurosas se las copia.Ésa es una gran diferencia. Si no hay están la Spears y la Hilton para demostrarlo.

Lo que está claro es que éste es un concepto que ya queda anticuado y ridículo,pero que se sigue usando en pasarelas,revistas,publicidad como marca propia y que adorna todo producto con un toque bastante atrayente ( comercialmente hablando).

Hay que ser como se es, quererse que ya es difícil,y disfrutar la vida y relacionarse con quien quieras. El error y la insatisfacción personal radica en querer aparentar o asemejarnos a algo que no somos, ni queremos ser!

De todos modos, a lo/as que sois de recetas, aquí os dejo los 10 ingredientes de un chico/a con glamour:

1. Estar conscientes de quiénes somos y tener una gran autoestima, amor propio.

2. Enriquecer nuestra vida con experiencias extraordinarias y tener la sensibilidad necesaria para compartirlas.

Take that Kate detractors! Kate has apparently fired back at accusations that she doesn't work.

Me encantan los mails de cadena que te quieren meter miedo, entiendo que muchísimo se ha escrito sobre ellos y el índice de comicidad que le traen a cualquier persona con un milímetro de sentido común; pero aún así entraré en tan trillado tema y específicamente en el mail que nos muestra como Dios odia que lo hagan quedar mal en público y no es capaz de tolerar ni una broma de sus amados hijos.

El mail se titula “Famosos que se burlaron de Jesús…” y aquí les mostraré un par de fragmentos transcritos exactamente cómo me lo enviaron.

"CONOCIAS ESTOS HECHOS?
SEGURO NO SABIAS HASTA AHORA

¡La muerte es cierta, pero la Biblia habla sobre la
muerte intempestiva! Haz una reflexión personal sobre esto.....
Muy interesante, lee hasta el final.....

Escrito en la Biblia (Galatas 6:7):
No se engañe; De Dios no se burla:
en absoluto lo que un hombre ha sembrado, eso debe él
recoger.

Aquí estan algunos hombres y mujeres
que se burlaron de Dios:

John Lennon (Cantante):Algunos años antes, durante su entrevista con una revista americana, él dijo:
'La Cristiandad acabará, desaparecerá. Yo no tengo que discutir sobre eso. Yo estoy seguro. Jesús era

Aquí la redacción del mail nos da a entender que Dios se cabreó tanto que apenas John Lennon dijo la dichosa frase, Dios se volvió loco y ordenó que lo caguen a tiros, si es posible a quemarropa. Wow, el realmente es un padre que perdona todo. Cabe recalcar que dios no se cabreó porque John Lennon dijo que los Beatles eran más famosos que Jesús, lo que más le arrechó fue que John Lennon dijo “el Beatles” (lean el fragmento del mail) y si hay algo que dios no tolera es la incapacidad de concordar género y número. De hecho, las últimas palabras de Lennon fueron las siguientes: “¿Por qué no estudié el gramática la suficiente?” lo cual hizo enojar a dios muchísimo más. Y se guardó toda esa ira para su siguiente ejecución.

"Tancredo Neves
(Presidente de Brasil):
Durante la campaña Presidencial, él dijo que si consiguiera 500,000 votos de su fiesta, ni Dios lo quitaría de la Presidencia. Efectivamente élconsiguió los votos, pero se enfermó un día antes de ser hecho Presidente, y murió.."

Tancredo murió de una inflamación intestinal y otras complicaciones, a pesar de haber logrado buenas relaciones diplomáticas y de haber propuesto un cambio positivo tal vez para miles de ciudadanos en el Brasil, es claro que tu capacidad de sacar adelante una nación (http://www.elpais.com/articulo/internacional/NEVES/_TANCREDO_ALMEYDA_DE_/BRASIL/BRASIL/Tancredo/Neves/nuevo/presidente/Brasil/300/votos/ventaja/elpepiint/19850116elpepiint_22/Tes/) importa menos de un carajo si desafías a Dios, porque el bien común es una tarea de muy poca importancia para él.

(el compositor brasileño Bi-sexual, cantante y poeta):

cigarro, él resopló fuera algún humo en el aire y dijo: 'Dios esto es para ti.'

Este testimonio es uno de mis favoritos, ni siquiera explica bien que es lo que el compositor brasileño Bi sexual, cantante y poeta le dedicó a Dios; pero lo que sí sabemos es que para librarnos de cualquier duda, dios lo hizo verga. No se puede andar con medias tintas cuando se trata de dios, eso está bien claro.

"El hombre que construyó el Titánic
Después de la construcción del Titanic, un reportero le preguntó cuan seguro sería.
Con un tono irónico él dijo: 'Ni Dios puede hundirlo'
El resultado:Todos saben lo que pasó al Titánic."

Este es uno de los casos más famosos, y esto nos muestra que Dios ni siquiera reflexiona en sus asesinatos, puede ser que el tipo que construyó el barco fue quien lo desafió; pero dios utilizó la lógica más simple: titanic > dios= NI VERGA y asesinó a las personas que iban dentro por ser cómplices en el desafío, es tan picado que no le bastó con simplemente dañar el bote, no. Está claro que eso no es suficiente para su megalomanía, lo hizo verga hasta el cansancio: lo chocó contra un iceberg, lo partió en dos, trepó a Leonardo di Caprio, hizo la película más taquillera de la historia y dejó morir congelada a toda la tripulación; ¿Qué le costaba cagar un motor nomás?. Para dios es clarísimo que todos los que se subieron ahí lo hicieron como parte de un desafío y como dios odia quedar mal ante la opinión pública los dejó que se congelen hasta la muerte. “I´m the King of the world!!” es una frase que Dios se toma muy en serio Leonardo.

No importa saber que cosas sobre Jesús le dijo Billy Graham a Marilyn (cabe recalcar que en ese tiempo la derecha y el anticomunismo estaban ligados de manera directa con el fanatismo religioso, léase mcarthismo) Dios odia el desprestigio de la opinión pública.

"Bon Scott(Cantante)
El ex-vocalista del AC/DC. En una de sus canciones de 1979, él cantó:
No me detenga, yo estoy bajando todo el camino, bajando por la carretera al infierno'.
El 19 de febrero de 1980, encontraron a Bon Scott, ahogado por su propio vómito."

En esta si creo que se le pasó la mano a dios, ya que aquí nadie se está burlando de él ni desafiándolo, es obvio que basta con escribir algo que remotamente disienta del cristianismo para estar condenado a una muerte humillante. Es tanto el repudio que dios tiene de que los periodistas y los periódicos amarillistas lo hagan quedar mal que se venga de las peores maneras imaginables.

"Campinas (EN 2005)
En Campinas, Brasil, un grupo de amigos borrachos, fue a recoger a una amiga.....
La madre la acompañó al automóvil y estaba tan angustiada
sobre la embriaguez de sus amigos y le dijo a la hija , sosteniendo su
mano, ya sentada en el automóvil:
'Mi hija, Vaya Con Dios y permita que Él la Proteja..
Ella respondió: 'Sólo Si Él (Dios) viaja en el maletero, porque aqui
dentro ya está Lleno '
Horas después, en las noticias dijeron que hubo un
fatal accidente, todos habían muerto, el automóvil no podría
reconocerse, pero sorprendentemente, el maletero estaba
intacto.
La policía dijo que de ninguna manera el maletero
podría permanecer intacto, se sorprendieron ya que dentro del maletero habia una canasta de huevos y ninguno estaba roto."

Aquí si que dios simplemente se cagó en la chica por haber dicho lo del maletero, es claro como el agua. ¡En tu cara, perra!

Además es claro que dios espera el momento cúspide de tu vida para cagarte, como en el caso del presidente de Brasil y John Lennon. Aunque generalmente la biblia dice que si realmente te arrepientes dios te perdona, ese pequeño detalle se le pasó con el Beatle.

Me pregunto que castigo horrible tendrá preparado para Dave Gahan y Marilyn Manson.

En conclusión después de revisar este mail es lo más lógico deducir que Dios no es el padre comprensivo y piadoso que queremos creer, es más bien como Hector Lavoe cuando en un concierto en Portoviejo alguien del público quiso robarle la cadena de oro, se cabreó y dijo "¿A papá?"

            Thank you Unveiled for publishing my last article.  I honestly missed it when your issue came out and my favorite, Scarlette pointed out to me that I got published.  Well, she was wondering if I would do any more articles and I had to think of one to write up, which didn’t take long at all for me once inspired.  Scarlette does know how to be inspiring too.  So ask and ye shall receive, and hope Unveiled keeps up the wonderful work as they did last time.

            Creekside Cabaret is just one of those clubs where you want to be respectful.  It is big and spacious.  They got a great sound system, some awesome DJ’s, and the place can just make you feel good and welcome.  Since these clubs are always about the ladies, I’ll go ahead and give bragging appreciation once again.

            Let me start by listing the long time regulars who have been working here since at least I first popped around here for the first time.  Destinee, Ivy, Peaches, Star, Victoria, Marilyn, Marlena, Jin, and Vega.  Each one of these ladies has held down this club in each of their own rights extremely well.  Destinee is somewhat how I view a female leader in this club, Victoria has the best pole climb and wire trick ever, always enjoy talking to Marilyn when I can, Marlena is just beyond gifted when it comes to being photographed.  I don’t think she can take a bad picture even if you tried to take a bad picture of her.  Her modeling photos are just beyond amazing and she has a fabulous mind to go with her beauty.  Vega is just a totally cool chick who’s now doing the DJ thing but I have heard she once in a while does take stage.  You’ll have to let me know woman when you decide to do so again.  I would love to honor you once again.  You’ll always be a favorite in my book.  ;-)

            So there isn’t any jealousy, Ivy is a fabulous beautiful woman.  Peaches proves how awesome being all natural can be, plus being funny.  Star has always been a great person and positive supporter of this club, also very intelligent.  Jin, I have yet to actually ever get a chance to know anything about you.  I should work on that one of these days so bringing up your name will be more special.  You’re still beautiful and been around this club quite a bit.  I’m sure you got your positives even though I have to yet experience them.  But these are your ladies who will probably be around for quite a while working at this club.  Every one of them gorgeous in their own rights.

            If there is ever a lost and found to be mentioned on my behalf, going back over a year or so, a lady who worked here named Honey was quite eccentric and quite interesting.  I just want to give her a warm shout out and hope all is going well with her.

            Time to move onward to the newer blood that make this club great.  I’ll start with the wonderful Blaze.  Cute, young, well put together and some cool costumes.  I dig her tiger outfit, she wears it well.  Also proven to be a good friend.  She’s been saying hello to me now and then and wanted to give her some due respect for doing so.

            Hey Carley.  Guess what?  I’m mentioning you this time around.  Here is a woman who has some dance moves.  She can dance better than Michael Jackson and I am quite certain she can keep her love interest all over the age of 18 at least as well.  Okay, quick Michael Jackson joke.  What does Michael Jackson like about 28 year olds?  The fact that there are 20 of them.  Anyways, Carley is much more fun and interesting to watch.  Definitely a cool woman worth wild busting a move with.

            Now, I haven’t seen Toni here in quite a while, but I wanted to give her due props for being beyond amazing on the pole.  Watching her pole dance just makes you think, that you hope to never be on her bad side.  Very awesome body strength and control.  You could just envision her doing things to you if you rubbed her wrongly.  She did tell me she is a lover and not a fighter.  I still wouldn’t want to press any back luck up against her.  If she moved on somewhere else, check her out.  Otherwise I hope to catch Toni again sometime at this club. 

            Gia is someone who started here as a waitress and then moved forward to being a dancer here.  She’s improved greatly as well.  Very fun and amazing to watch.  Recently she didn’t take to being disrespected very well.  Some guy apparently waved her on and mentioned he didn’t want to tip her a dollar.  To be honest, I just don’t get this whole need to be disrespectful to others.  I believe good karma and doing to others as you would want others to be doing to you.  Would you want someone to enter your job and give you a bunch of disrespect?  Well, getting back to Gia, she is worth being respected and getting to know.  So if I am at this club Gia and you just need cheering up again or to blow off some steam, this will never be a problem to me.  I’m just happy to get you smiling once again.

            This club knows how to prove that every one of these ladies are more than “just strippers.”  I would never bother with this club if all it did was all the stereotypical nonsense about strip clubs, just want their tips, demand their dances, do nothing to even care about you, and just drain your wallet before an hour gets a chance to go by.  The fact that they are all willing to spend some time with you, care about how you are doing, and support a friendly and fun atmosphere is exactly why this is the best club around of all times.  So if you just happen to have one of those mind frames that just sucks, well, you are at the wrong club then.  This club just doesn’t support the bad stereotypes, and there are those who do live up to the bad stripper stereotypes find there stay here shorted lived.  Just goes to prove that just a little bit of respect does go a long way.

            To prove this is very true, the last time I left this club, they handed me a simple gift card for one free drink the next time I can pop around.  So good karma and appreciation does pay off guys. 

            Before I move on to Cheyenne and Scarlette, I have to give my warm yet serious regards to someone else I know who is a little MIA.  The sweet and lovable Aries.  I knew she took time off to do a college course and really wanted to return after her semester was done.  Apparently she was in a car accident and last know mentioning, was wearing a neck brace and said something about seeing a spinal surgeon.  This is about a month ago now.  So I hope someone will give her this message from me, which I know others share similar thoughts as well.  I truly hope and pray that everything is all right with you dear Aries.  You are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope you have a speedy and healthy recovery.  I do pray to someday meet up with you again.  You are a great personality and highly positive spirit.  I’m proud I got to be the one who broke you in and give your first lap dance experience to be a positive one.  Please get well soon and have a healthy and speedy recovery.

            On a lighter note, as in a cutie that is just half my total size, literally; Cheyenne is just a wonderful and kind hearted woman.  Cute smile, very petite body, and practically a rock star in the making.  She also fits very nicely in my lap.  She is bound to always visit me when I am there and we get some good conversations in.   She is someone who I do hope goes quite far in life.  She is very deserving of it.  Always a pleasure to know as well.  I’m glad to be your friend Cheyenne and get to know you like I do.  Stay awesome and rockin’ now!

            Finally, there is the sweetest of them all (to me at least), the fabulous Miss Scarlette!  Always with positive things to say about everyone.  Open minded, fun, and an enjoyable presence to just be around.  Also very caring and appreciative.  Her warm personality alone will make you always want to be around her.  Sure, it also helps that she is a red head and she does that awesome split walk on stage, which if I were to even try to do, would be my one way ticket to the nearest hospital.  It would take a lot of time for me to even begin to be that flexible.  Overall she is just the greatest warm personality sweetheart I have ever met in my life.  Definitely a keeper as they would say.  And yes, I would love to be the one she keeps.  ;-)  Stay awesome Scarlette, you got yourself a friend for life. 

            There are plenty of other fabulous ladies who work here worth knowing as well.  Each one takes to the formula that makes this club the best of all time very well.  Quite a few new girls who I enjoyed hanging with as well.  It will take me a few more times to get your names remembered.  I got Amber down, she’s seems fun to know, but a few more trips and I’m sure I can brag about the rest of you as well.

            I might let you all in if I get around to dating Scarlette.  Besides that, while I keep trying to figure out where the heck that “help make me a sugar daddy employment agency” exist, what I might not be able to pull off in financial gratitude, I definitely make up for in warm spirited personality.  I’ll get my dances in eventually with Blaze and Gia yet.  I finally got a massage in with their new massage lady.  I do get around eventually to making my rounds and get to those rain checks I seem to keep verbally making. 

            I guess in fairness.  To all the other clubs out there, Creekside Cabaret just so happens to be my strip club of choice.  I can only hope that the rest of the clubs out there can have great and appreciative customers as well who are very willing to put the gentleman back into “gentlemen’s club.”  You can read for yourself what make this club in particular so great.  May the rest of you have similar and enjoyable success.

Keep this club awesome, to all you fabulous ladies and workers of Creekside Cabaret.  I’ll make sure I will drink my free drink to that.  Be good, be strong and be safe now.  Peace.

There's a mutating meme coursing across the interweb -- bloggers challenging each other to name twelve films they haven't seen. The task varies from blog to blog, sometimes amounting to a confession of what well-known or important movies the author hasn't caught up with, sometimes tending towards a list of extreme rarities that nobody can find.

I think both lists have value. Maybe somebody out there will be able to help me out with the films I want to get my mitts on. And maybe naming the films I haven't seen will shame me into watching them. I also like the Self-Styled Siren's approach, which involves listing twelve films in her collection which she hasn't gotten around to running yet (including LA FIN DU JOUR!).

So my first list will be twelve rare films that I went to considerable effort to get, then didn't watch.

1. THE POWER AND THE GLORY. An early Preston Sturges screenplay. Looked for this for AGES, finally got it a couple months ago. Haven't even peeked at it. What a maroon!

2. Early Hitchcock. I've seen most of the thrillers, but odd things like RICH AND STRANGE are sitting neglected. Nice quality, from the recent box set of early Hitch... I'm contemplating spending a whole week running all the Hitch I haven't seen. Yep, I'm CONTEMPLATING it...

3. Murnau's TARTUFFE. Bought the Kino edition from America. I keep putting it on, then getting distracted. It may not be major Murnau, but it certainly has inspired bits (I love the style of the modern framing story more than the actual Moliere adaptation), and if I watched it properly who knows what I'd get out of it?

4. Michael Powell's quota quickies. A fascinating glimpse into the creative process: watch Powell slowly spread his wings and try things out and gain confidence, on threadbare budgets and schedules so brief the Kleig lights barely have time to warm up. I have a number of these, all more or less unwatched. Let CROWN VS STEVENS stand for them all.

5. UN REVENANT. A fog-bound Parisian gangster film in the poetic realist vein, directed by Christian-Jaque and starring the mighty Louis Jouvet. I paid good money for a fine copy of this. So why haven't I watched it, two years later? BECAUSE I AM AN ARSE.

6. Resnais's MURIEL. Got very excited about seeing this, bought it, watched ten minutes, was intrigued, got interrupted, never went back. I'm dreadful. A failure as a man, and as an assemblage of molecules.

7. LES ORGEILLEUX. Gerard Philipe gives an astonishing performance (I peeked) in Yves Allegret and Rafael E Portas' sensational drama. An unusually articulate IMDb reviewer calls it "one of the greatest films I've ever seen". It may be one of the greatest films I haven't seen. How would I know?

8. THE HUMAN CONDITION. Masaki Kobayashi's nine-hour three-film extravaganza, released by Criterion but now out of print. Miraculously got a copy via Mark Cousins, then failed to watch it. Kobayashi is one Fiona's very favourite filmmakers, but I think the phrase "nine hours" is putting her off.

9. MARILYN. Wolf Rilla (VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED) directs this British B-movie answer to THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE. Got a surprise TV airing this year, I recorded it. Then kind of set it to one side. We met Wolf Rilla's son once, Nico Rilla. He recommended a Rilla movie with a terrific title: THE WORLD TEN TIMES OVER.

10. THE HONEYMOON KILLERS. Perfectly nice pre-record boxed DVD of this lying on the living room floor amid a heap. And yes, I know Scorsese directed part of it, I know the story behind his firing, and I was able to use that information to work out which bits he directed. And I've watched those bits. But I need to watch the whole thing!

11. LE TROU. I have this Jacques Becker crime yarn in a beautiful Criterion Collection edition, (and TOUCHEZ PAS AU GRISBI too). I loan it to people. They watch it. I don't. And yet I liked CASQUE D'OR quite a bit.

12. UNDERWORLD BEAUTY. I do like a Seijun Suzuki yakuza flick. I've watched BRANDED TO KILL numerous times (I still get utterly confused). And yet this one remains unwatched. I am an idiot!

Of course, I've barely scratched the surface...
