Everyone has already started giving Meghan crap about this. Honestly, I don't find it a big deal. She made a minor error, but she's 23 so we'll give her a break. What we won't give her break for: Not having a real job.

This whole business of writing a children's book called My Dad, John McCain is just gag-inducing and confusing. She obviously wants to be a writer, hence the blog and now this. But um, are children the new untapped voting demographic?

Nope, it's just far easier to write a kids book and she needs to do something related to politics or her father or else no one will care or buy it.

So what will it be tonight children of Republicans? Good Night Moon or stories of a POW camp?

Obviously, I had to check it out for myself. The Columbia grad and former Newsweek intern is obviously more world wide web literate than her father and garners quite a bit of fan mail, apparently, which she posts from time to time.

It would be hard for any self-respecting non-McCain voter to get through these fan letters, but I gave it the good college try.
FYI, the description of the blog is "Musings and Pop Culture on the Political Trail" and she provides her own soundtrack to her experience in the form of Playlists.

Attenzione: sezione blog! catapultiamoci dentro.
Campaign Solutions

Michael Palmer

Michael Palmer joins Campaign Solutions after working in the eCampaign division of Bush-Cheney '04. In addition to helping maintain both the internal and external websites, he worked closely with the campaign's Political department to develop web applications for the 72Hour volunteer program and for tracking Election Day voting activities. Prior to the campaign, Michael worked extensively in the web industry designing and implementing project management, eCommerce and eProcurement solutions for corporate and government clients.

Michael graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science from The George Washington University. Originally from Naples, FL, he currently resides in Washington, DC.
