"Our results suggest that long-term, regular coffee consumption has several beneficial health effects," says Esther Lopez-Garcia, lead author of the Harvard School of Public Health report.

The study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, examines the relationship between coffee and mortality. It is based on the coffee drinking habits of 41,736 men and 86,216 women with no history of cardiovascular disease (CVD) or cancer. The men were followed for 18 years, the women for 24 years.

The results show that as coffee consumption increases, the overall risk of death decreases. The association is explained mostly by a decrease in CVD deaths, Lopez-Garcia says. Women who drank two to three cups of coffee a day, for instance, had a 25% lower risk of dying from heart disease than non-drinkers.

"Coffee has some beneficial effects on inflammation and endothelial function, which are the first stages of CVD development," Lopez-Garcia says.

No connection was found between coffee consumption and cancer deaths, however. "More studies are necessary to confirm this lack of effect," she says.

Researchers warn that the study does not prove a cup of joe is linked with long life. A factor other than coffee could be protecting participants, Lopez-Garcia says. A measurement error also could be possible, because consumption levels were self-reported.

"More research is necessary to be able to recommend consuming coffee on a health basis," she says. "Our study is not enough to make such a statement."

The findings suggest that a component other than caffeine explains the relationship between coffee and a lower risk of death, Lopez-Garcia says. Participants who drank both decaf and caffeinated coffee had lower death rates than non-drinkers.

Some experts still warn, however, that caffeine can lead to detrimental short-term health effects, such as anxiety and sleep problems.

"If you want the best of both worlds, drink decaf — avoid the caffeine and get the good stuff," says longtime coffee researcher Terry Graham of the University of Guelph in Canada.

Past research has produced mixed results on the health effects of coffee, but most experts agree coffee is safe and even healthful.

In 2000, researchers at the Mayo Clinic found that coffee intake was linked with decreased rates of Parkinson's disease. In 2004, Harvard researchers reported that it significantly reduced the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. And a 2005 study found that coffee could help prevent the most common type of liver cancer, according to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.

Karen Collins, a nutrition adviser with the American Institute for Cancer Research, says the key to coffee's health benefits is its antioxidants.

"Coffee drinkers who were scared off years ago by reports that it poses a health threat have no reason to be afraid," she says. "But people also shouldn't be saying, 'I'll just have some coffee today instead of my fruits and vegetables.' "

C'mon people.......  That stuff use to work years ago, when MLM companies were lower in numbers...... Today, it's harder to find people that have never been involved in one thing or another or are brand new to the industry. Not to mention the horror stories that are out there. This is the sad reality. Only 2-3% make it to the other side......  Period! But that does not have to stay like that.........

9.    Think Young. Whether you are 20 or 80, this marketplace loves you. Respect each other. Learn . Listen and grow your Spirit of Offerings. Be your own fantastic ‘no matter what age you find yourself’ Brand as a ‘free entrepreneur’.

When I was still in school around age 16 I saw some Ironworkers setting a microwave tower in Texas with a Air-Crane, which is a helicopter rigged to hang steel in area's that a conventional crane couldn't go. And I decided right at that moment "this is what I want to do"! That may sound odd to some people but I was fascinated by the way these guy's were fearless at an amazing distance off the ground, plus I knew that this particular job paid "very Well", So without a lot of support from my family (they thought it was too dangerous), I worked my way into this career and never looked back. For over 20 years now I have worked my way to the top of my game as a certified "Welder/Ironworker" and I have made a lot of money doing this, until one day fate stepped in and took over.

After many years of working safely and climbing to the top of this profession I have seen a lot of my fellow Ironworkers and Welders injured from things such as careless mistakes, and fluke accidents to simply just being in the "wrong place at the wrong time" some of those men and women are no longer with us due to this. And I never thought this would happen to me, but on the last day of 2004 (New Years Eve) I fell from about 10 feet (which is not very high considering I have worked hundred's of feet in the air), and it put me out of work for almost a whole year. For that entire year I was laid up at home with nothing but a workers comp check for me and my family to survive on. I saw many doctors and specialists that only wanted to prescribe more medication, and pain management, which isn't a cure as most people know but only a band aid to the much greater problem. That is when I knew that there was a lot of people out there in worse shape than I was and that they would either have to overcome, or accept the fact that this is how life will be from now on.

My doctors told me that I would never do this type work again and that I should go back to school and forget about being an Ironworker. Boy, its only 6:30 p.m. and I am spent. I usually wake up cheery eyed and bushy tailed every day and today was no different.

Hi, I'd like introduce myself. I am a 2%er, What is a 2%er? Well, let me explain. I am someone who has made a life changing decision. I am someone who will surpass all those who choose not to be a 2%er. I am someone who hears the word "NO" more than the average human being. I am someone who truly wants to help people and share his awesome business opportunity. I am someone who is home working while his daughter is watching t.v in the other room........I AM THE HOME BASED BUSINESS OWNER.

Let me give you a cliff note version of when your business plan for the day does not go as planned. My mentor has given me some strict instruction on how to organize my day. I figured if he is making the big bucks he obviously knows what he is saying. Well. needlless to say my mentor doen't live in my life or in my shoes. He however is gracious enogh to check in on me to see how I am progressing.

I woke up and greeted the day with a full potential of knocking out some business tasks that have been on the back burner for about a week. Due to LIFE. I took my little girl to school and went straight to the gym. I then went to Best Buy to get some computer items and then went home to bust a move.

Round 1 with the computer. I had 2 hours to play with. Sure enough I got snagged with a simple task of downloading an image onto Craigslist. Why didi this happened. I researched my problem on you tube and no results. I went further to see if the internet could help, no dice. Before you know it, time to pick up my little girl.

I am not going to lie. I was teed off about not accomplishing a thing for 2 hard hours of work. But seeing my daughters face erased it all. With here big beautiful smile she asked me if we could go to Barnes and Noble . How am I suppose to say no to that.We stayed in Barnes and Noble for 2 solid hours. I ended up reading the whole book called the "Secret". I heard about it and have to admit it is a must read. I plan on now using meditation as one of my disciplines. After Barnes and Noble we ended up going home singing and joking around. For a 43 year old man I can regress to a child real easily.

Round 2 in front of the computer. I lost that round too...(get It). I decided to put aside my previous issue and now move onto the next step. It sounded good in theory, but did it work. Not today. Another simple task that a 6 year old could have solved. I spent approximately 2 more hours of trouble shooting my problem with no avail. Why God? I tried some of the "Secrets" law of attraction meditation but had no particular brainstorm. I don't blame the book. I don't blame society. I don't even blame that little 6 year old child thart could have solved the problem. I have chosen to blame the damn computer. I figured it is an inaminate object anyway and its feelings wouldn't be hurt as bad. Did I give up? NEVER!!! I will have my way with you machine.

I struggled until dinner time. Made dinner and was pleased that my daughter ate the whole thing. I needed to do something right. Cleaned up the kitchen and fed the dogs and went to try again.

Round 3. Upper cut.....TKO!.... 30 minutes into the round. I didn't see it coming. I tried to call my I.T. guy. He didn't answer. I called my second I.T.guy and he was unavailable.

The towel had to be thrown in. It was an ugly fight.

Ladies and gentlemen this is Howard Cosell here with NBC sports. I have here with me a fighter that got knocked out, but refuses to believe he lost the fight.

Howard, I will have my day with that computer.You wait and see. I will train and be coachable, I will learn and learn and when I am done learning I will learn some more.
