I got this from a colleague in the office the other day, and it has to be the single most incredible clip that I've ever seen:

In case you were wondering, what these psychos are doing is called wingsuit flying. Popularised by Patrick de Gayardon (who subsequently died while testing a new modification) wingsuits seem like the stuff of dreams, and yet they've found their way into the mainstream.

It's almost surreal just how awesome that clip is. The guys are practically living one of humanity's oldest dreams and keep on pushing the boundaries. I love how the guy says that they got bored, so they had to try something more interesting!

Sono passati ormai quasi 10 anni dalla sua morte, quando il 13 Aprile del 1998 morì alle Hawaii mentre stava mettendo appunto la sua geniale invenzione della tutina alare, è ancora considerato uno dei più famosi e importanti paracadutisti della storia. Il mitico Patrick de Gayardon e il suo sogno di volare come Icaro sono rimasti nella storia.

Su internet troverete tutte le informazioni che volete..è pieno di informazioni e riguardo. Però questa volta voglio postare un documentario ripreso dalla televisione francese odysseè che reputo il migliore in giro sulla piazza. E' molto ma molto lungo quindi invece di postare il video intero che dura più di 50 minuti preferisco spezzare il video in più parti dove si riprendono le imprese più spettacolari. Prima fra tutto la caduta dalla cascata del Salto Angel e poi anche la memorabile caduta nella bocca del Sotano de las Golondrinas.
