Als Produzent ihrer letzten drei Welttourneen verdiente der Konzertveranstalter Live Nation, eigenen Angaben zufolge fast 500 Millionen USD. Im Oktober 2007 wechselte Madonna dann von Warner Brothers zu Live Nation. Die Einnahmen zu ihrem letzten Longplayer Hard Candy, den sie derzeit live vorstellt, werden ein letztes Mal in die Bilanzen der Warner Brothers eingehen. Bei Vertragsabschluss der so genannten weltweiten Partnerschaft zwischen Konzertveranstalter Live Nation und einer, seit 25 Jahren Geschäftssüchtigentüchtigen, geblendet von den Umsatzzahlen ihrer bisherigen Tourneen auf Wiederholung spekulierend, mag man eines vergessen haben: den Glauben ihrer Fans, sie werde kein weiteres Mal die Live-Bühne betreten. Das war selbst für die unzähligen Nicht-Madonna-Fans auf ihren Konzerten oft der einzige Grund, denselben beizuwohnen. Um die geglaubte letzte Chance zu nutzen, die inzwischen ein halbes Jahrhundert alte Dame, die man zu Lebzeiten bereits Legende schimpft, vor ihrem entgültigen Ausstieg in den Pop-Olymp noch persönlich kennen zu lernen. Wie gerne hätten wir auch Heath Ledger ein letztes Mal begrüßt?

In der Regel verursachte dieser Glaube eine Hysterie an den Ticketschaltern. Die Stadien konnten nicht groß genug sein, Termine gab es nirgends ausreichend. Madonna selbst war es, die vor dem Beginn der weltweit ausverkauften "Drowned World-Tour" im Jahre 2001 ihren Fans verkündete, dass diese ihre letzte Tournee sein werde, woraufhin bei Eröffnung der Ticket-Vorverkäufe in Deutschland die Server zusammenbrachen. In Berlin gab die Mutter damals noch zweier Kinder fünf Konzerte, ausverkaufte, in der Max-Schmeling-Halle am Mauerpark. Danach folgten Mehrfachbespielungen von Konzerthäusern wie dem Londoner Wembley Stadion oder unwirklichen Arenen wie dem Madison Square Garden. Auch die Konzerte ihrer Re-Invention- oder späteren Confessions-Tour waren ausverkauft. Bei Warner Brothers hatte man über die wiederholte Life-Performance einer Madonna stets den Mantel des Schweigens geworfen. Erfolgreich.

Man ist es gewohnt das Madonna erfolgreich ist und genau nur so lange wird sie Madonna bleiben, uns in Berlin besuchen kommen und sogar ihre Regiedebüts auf unseren, um internationale Anerkennung strebenden Filmfestivals vorstellen dürfen, so lange sie nur währenddessen die oberste Chartposition einnimmt, Rekordumsätze trotz zweifelhafter Gesangskünste mit Live-Einlagen einfährt, dabei ohne Spuren älter wird, so lange sie nur simultan eine glückliche Ehefrau bleibt, uns entzückt mit Geheimlehren und populistisch anmutenden Polit-Statements polarisiert. Aber nicht viel länger wird sie andernfalls Madonna für uns bleiben.

Die Verkäufe der gegenwärtigen Tournee verlaufen schleppend - soll heißen, in manchen Konzerthäusern gehen statt möglicherweise 70.000 nur 50.000 Karten an den Mann. Statt fünfmal Madison Square Garden gibt es nur drei dortige Gigs. Wohl auch, da bekannt ist dass weitere Tourneen folgen. Der legendenhafte Nebel um den Mythos des letzten Superstars lichtet sich derzeit. Längst nicht alle Konzerte ihrer Sticky & Sweet Welttournee sind ausverkauft. Oder ist etwa ihre Musik so viel schlechter geworden?

Até onde eu sei o Show da Madona no Brasil acontecerá no Rio de Janeiro e em São Paulo, e faz parte da turnê Sticky & Sweet Tour, que passará também pela Argentina, Chile e Buenos Aires. Pena não ser a turnê do Confessions on The Dance Floor, pq seria MAIS DO QUE INCRIVEL. Mas show da madonna é sempre show da madonna, e eu muito espero ter dinheiros para poder ir. A data do show é dia 13 e 14 de dezembro no Rio de Janeiro e dias 17, 18 e 19 em São Paulo, no Estádio do Morumbi, até lá dá pra ir economizando, deixando de comer aquela coisa toda... se bem que comprar antecipado é muito mais barato.  Especula-se que cada show no Brasil renda à Madonna cerca de US$ 5 milhões (R$ 8 milhões). Que delicia! Também quero! Alguém paga isso por um show meu? Quem sabe cantando new york new york? (piada interna).

Bem,os preços ao que parece estão na seguinte situação:

Rio de Janeiro - Estádio do Maracanã

Ingresso: R$ 180 (arquibancadas), R$ 300 (arquibancada central), R$ 220 (cadeiras laterais), R$ 250 (cadeiras centrais e pista), R$ 600 (pista VIP).

São Paulo - Estádio do Morumbi

Ingresso: R$ 160 (arquibancada laranja), R$ 180 (arquibancadas vermelha e azul), R$ 300 (cadeiras superiores vermelha, azul e laranja), R$ 250 (cadeiras inferiores vermelha, azul, laranja e deficientes físicos / pista), R$ 600 (pista VIP).

Bem, provavelmente eu irei ver a Madonna bem pequenininha numa arquibancada lááá longe. Pq pode ser a Madonna, pode ser o apocalypse acontecendo, eu prefiro gastar 600 reais em outras coisas e no futuro viro amiga da rainha do pop! haha.

A pergunta que não quer calar é: Quem vai abrir o show da Madonna?

Não dá né.... assim sendo ,começo pelo meu blog um movimento a favor da banda Montage abrir o show da madonna! Se uma banda péssima que eu prefiro não mencionar abriu o show do Marilyn Manson, acho mais do que digno Daniel Peixoto e Leco Jucá abrirem for the queen! Além disso acharia lindo que eles me levassem pro backstage.... haha. Então repitam comigo:

Madonna fired up her new Sticky Sweet Tour in England with the usual: leather, ambiguous male dancers and lumping John McCain in with a man who destroyed approx. 6 million Jews in WWII, Adolf Hitler.

It wasn't enough for the material grandma to visually assault the overpaying crowd with her 50+ "Sticky Sweet" Touring Buns...but apparently Madonna decided to throw in a little political statement, as self important artists tend to do, during the performance.  So on a giant video-tron during her show John McCain's picture rolled across screen in a montage of pics including Adolf Hitler as well as Zimbabwe's authoritarian President Robert Mugabe.

In a separate video statement, John Lennon, Al Gore, Gandhi, and Obama's picture were together in a montage obviously more favorable and positive.

Madonna has had a bad year.  Her new album is bad.  There are reports her marriage is on the skids.  She's in an African adopting competition with Angelina Jolie and losing.  Her brother wrote a tell-all book about her.  She just turned the big 50...which isn't bad unless your whole career has been based on being a twenty-something sex symbol (bad in her case).  So overall, it's not been great.  But that's no reason for Madonna to stop using common sense or human decency for the sake of publicity and associate McCain with Hitler.

Listen, I don't like what Bush has done for the past 8 years.  It's because of that fact I feel like running with wild abandon into the arms of Obama.  So McCain is not neccessarily my guy.  But I certainly recognize he's not on the same level with ADOLF HITLER!!!  OK??  Madonna once again trades human decency for a buck.  I'm not worried about the political impact it may have, because that's giving Madonna and her fan base fathoms more creditability she has or deserves.  This is a woman who wore cones on her boobs while trying to pull off the ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ Hairstyle.’ I'm a 28 year old in 2008...am I supposed to be impressed by that?  I've seen so much cooler.  Maybe that was new and fascinating in the 80's but what have you done for me lately Madonna, other than try and shock me by using a political association?  Is she still a trendsetter?  An icon?  Is she someone who has something to say? Is she really that controversial?

No.  Madonna is tired, worn and losing her grip on our attention spans.  Society has upped the stakes and she can't hang.  So now Mrs. Truth or Dare is grasping at the last straws to be controversially relevant, but with her last few stunts, records, and personal revelations, its now it's very apparent how publicly irrelevant Madonna and her credibility has been all along.  The comparison to Hitler was the highlighting of Madonna's unbelievable lack of education and sensitivity.

I may not like McCain's party and it may be popular to bash Republicans right now because Bush has destroyed our country in and out for 8 years, but Hitler was responsible for the torturing, maiming, decapitating, gutting, burning, and general spiritual desecration of nearly 6 million people on this earth out of sheer evil. McCain isn't even in the same cosmos as Hitler let alone the same ballpark, and Madonna should shut her gaping publicity pie hole and open a book before she decides to make political comparisons for shock value.

Madonna kicked off her latest tour "Sticky Sweet" which will leave you eating hard candy for a couple of weeks due to the high ticket prices.

We could rave like the other blogger or we can give you the low-down truth;  the place was about two-thirds full, tickets were selling for below asking price, (what a shock) and she took her time getting on stage that some people started to boo.  There were 3 virtual Justin Timberlake's,  because one is just not enough.

The show was over 2 hours long and the new cd made up for 9 of the 22 numbers done.-Dr.FB

Poptähti Madonna aloitti maailmankiertueensa Ison-Britannian Cardiffista eilen illalla näyttävällä kahden tunnin muoti- ja hittikimaralla. Juuri 50 vuotta täyttänyt poptähti vaihtaa show'ssaan tyylilajia 1920-luvun gangsteri-glamourista 1980-luvun New York -muisteluun ja Kaukoitä-vaikutteisiin.

Pukua Madonna vaihtaa yhden esityksen aikana kahdeksan kertaa. Mukana menossa on 1,3 miljoonan euron arvosta Swarowski-kristalleja.

Sticky and Sweet -nimeä kantava kiertue jatkaa seuraavaksi Etelä-Ranskaan Nizzaan. Maailmankiertue päättyy joulukuussa Brasilian Sao Pauloon. Pohjoismaissa Madonnaa ei tällä kertaa nähdä.

Madonnan uusin albumi Hard Candy nousi listaykköseksi 27 maassa.
