strip me?, Anna Tsuchiya's original debut album, is by far my favorite of hers. Currently only having two on her belt, I felt this album had a lot to give. Born Anna Marie Heider Tsuchiya, she is a gorgeous woman on 25. Being a divorced single mother, she lets nothing faze her.

When I first heard song rose, I thought, this girl is permeating sexiness out of my speakers. The deep sultry voice was surprising to me, used the annoying squeal of female Jpop vocalists. It was a beam of fresh sound waves to my dry brain. I enjoyed it very much.

I'm no fan of female vocalists, but I do love the few woman jrockers who can pull of that raw power needed to surpass the guitar and synths. And in my opinion, she does wonders.

Now, there are some questionable tracks, even in this favorite album of mine. A little more than I would have liked. I disliked mostly half of the tracks on this album, but it is lower than ANNA TSUCHIYA inspi' NANA (BLACK STONES.

Now, I found a trend I've been going on recently. Almost every song I enjoyed of hers from this album is sung in english or partially in english. Does she sing better in English? No. Does she have considerably better lyrics and beats in her English tracks? Maybe. Who knows what's the cause of this. All I know is that those I've hand picked as my favorite are all sung in English except for one, which is sung partially in english.

She has a truck load of barrels which contain so much talent its hard not to notice her shining soul. Her third album Untitled ( don't know if this is the actual title or it's really untitled at the moment) on October 1, 2008. Her single Virgin Cat is being released September 10, 2008.

It wasn't all satisfactory, but it had some well worthy stuff. I really "tug-a-war"-ed giving a B or C... I really like Anna and this album. Just not the whole thing. =]
