I personally downloaded AnVir's Task Manager. This is a more robust version of the Task Manager you get with Windows that shows you what programs are running and allows you to end them. This also allows you to take different programs out of the start up routine (for faster boot times). It also automatically searches for processes that could be viruses or trojans or malware. It works very well and even gives you icons in the toolbar with amount of memory being used, chip temperatures and, or course, the percentage of the processor being used.

Of course that program isn't available today, but I wanted to use the program for a while before I bragged about this site. So far, so good. Check it every day to find you a program you might need!

Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator

it maybe because:

1. You use account that was blocked via the "Local Group Policy" or "Domain Group Policy".

2. Some registry settings block you from using "Task Manager".

the solution is simple:

we want to open GPedit file, this is can be done either by

open start then select run the write  Gpedit.msc then enter

if you have too many viruses and you can’t find the run icon in you start menu, fix this first:

or

open the following path (local C -> windows -> system32 -> gpedit)

then open user configuration -> Administrative templates -> system -> Ctrl + Alt + Del options

then you will find in the setting "Remove the task manager" and it's status set to be either "Allowed" or "not configured " click on it and change it to be "Disabled" then welcome your task manager back!

To solve it, just double click anywhere in the frame of the window, it will come to normal again.

Virus ini sebenarnya dibuat menggunakan javascript, menyebabkan anda tidak boleh dwiklik ikon harddisk anda. Selalunya regedit dan folder option juga telah disekat. Nak mula komputer pun lembab.

Jalankan Repair Registry

Kemudian, jalankan Task Manager dengan menekan kekunci Ctrl+Alt+Del atau klik butang kanan mouse pada taskbar dan pilih Task Manager  :D

Pilih Tab Process, cari wscript.exe dan pilih End Process.

Seterusnya, jalankan arahan Run, taip regedit kemudian pergi ke HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run dan cari VirusMawar disebelah kanan. Delete.

Akhir sekali, pergi ke Control Panel-Folder Option. Pastikan folder option anda seperti gambar di bawah ini:

Cari fail VirusMawar.js dalam dua folder iaitu folder Windows dan Windows/System32. Dah jumpa delete sahaja fail js berkenaan. :-)

activity monitor itu bisa dibilang "task manager" nya mac os x ... doi bertugas buat ngemonitor kegiatan (aplikasi yang berjalan) di macintosh. kalo ada aplikasi yang ngadat, alias ga mau di "quit" atau bahkan ga mau di "force quit", buka aja activity monitor, bisa diakses di /Applications/Utilities ,trus pilih aplikasi yang ngadat(biasanya textnya warna merah, trus ada embel2: "not responding" di process name-nya) trus klik tombol "quit process". kita juga bisa filter aktivitas yang jalan berdasarkan nama prosesnya atau pilih dropbox buat filter berdasarkan user/penggunanya. nah yang ngebedain ama "task manager" punyanya windows adalah tombol "sample process" di activity monitor, tombol ini buat ngambil sampling dari proses yang dijalanin ama si aplikasi ... ini beberapa baris pertama dari contoh pengambilan sampling proses aplikasi yang lagi jalan:
