Today has been crazy. We started off by doing this huge assembly where the played the great Rocket Summer songs, and then we did some worship. I am not used to this kind of singing with no instruments, so it's pretty interesting to watch the different ways people worship. After that we met with our mentor groups, which was the funniest thing ever. Our leaders are crazy and loud, and definately made us dance the soldier boy. We then went to the worlds largest game of twister, which was fun for ten minutes, and then I got tired of sticking my butt in peoples faces. It was pouring down rain when we got out, so we had to walk half a mile in water up to our ankles. Now we're just waiting for dinner with our mentor groups, and then we have a candlelight devotional at 9 which is going to be pretty sweet! I basically just sit in my dorm room all day by myself though, so hopefully things will get better!

It is crazy here, people are already starting to date guys that they just met. Everyone seems to be in this desperate search to find their soulmate! We heard two guys talking at dinner about this girl that he "just met" and he knows he could marry her. I dont know, but that's just not my style.

Rzeczywiście, doszło do niefortunnego dysonansu - przyznaje.

I have a life outside GTz.
YES, I have. Do not speculate.
Anyways, let’s go through the events

I have a life outside GTz.

YES, I have. Do not speculate.

Anyways, let's go through the events like we peel an onion, going through the latest event 1st.

East Coast Park National Day

LF had a family chalet at ECP, so rArAr and I were called to join in. As usual, rArAr was late, and we waited outside the chalet for LF to come back from her cycling trip. And we almost believed that she abandoned us, cos we sat there for more than 1/2 hour!!

Anyways, when she finally arrived and we settled down, we psycho-ed LF to go cycling again. Just as we reached the bicycle shop and decided where to go cycling to, a water spout landed!!

In fact, I doubt the water spout formed on water, but straight away on the beach, cos there was no spraying of water around. So to be precise, it was a dust devil. Things were going round in circles as the dust devil swept all the tents and debris off the air.

The thing is, the bicycle shop was in the path of the dust devil!!

Being such idiots, we decided to stay put as LF and I started to film the 'attack' of the dust devil into the shop. There was such a mayhem of sweeping sand, screaming kids and concerned parents who were hanging on to their dear kids (as if they were light enough to be swept away).

Having gone through such an experience of a lifetime, we went back to the chalet without cycling, preparing to eat. Then, it rained and LF made us walk to a chalet opposite hers and sat there. OK, the thing about this action is that we were away from the food, separated by the thick curtain of rain!!

haha...

Whatever.

After eating, rArAr and I went out to one of the sandbars to catch the fireworks. You see, we went there to recce, but LF and her whole chalet of people were too late (it's really hard to mobilize so many people), so they ended up watching a half-view on the beach. hehe... We watched the fireworks in full display, although it looked small.

ZPS Gathering

kf was back, and so as usual, we had a gathering. We ate from PS Cafe in Paragon, to Xin Wang in Cineleisure, to Coffee Club in Taka. All the while, we were slacking and chatting. haha...

The other photos, well, I don't have. Some more Facebook pix can't be linked here, so well, gotta wait for the others to send the originals to me ba...

Airport Dinner

Had dinner with xx and gg. In fact, we met up almost once a week to have fun together. This time round, we went to the airport, so that we could catch my work, on its first day on display in the public area in T1.

Twister
January 6, 1997

I’m sitting here in the hall with my other best friend.
Boots’ Mama came and took him home as if their wooden house
beside the Kerr-Magee plant on the outskirts of town can protect them from a tornado better than this big brick elementary school and these cold blue concrete blocks pressing into the small of my back.

It’s dark outside, night in the middle of the day.
Black like this hall where we sit waiting.
Black like Mr. Kelly, our 6th grade teacher, in the office with the principal hunched over the Bearcat listening for the next sighting.
Black like Mr. Reese who comes with his autoharp every Wednesday to teach us songs like
“I got a mule and her name is Sal, 15 miles on the Erie Canal. She’s a good ol’ worker and a good ol’ pal, 15 miles on the Erie Canal.”
Somehow, the thought of a big strong mule named Sal is strangely comforting to me as I crouch here, my head shoved between my knees every time the wind roars through the wide-open windows and the blocks behind me shudder with another clap of thunder.

With Mrs.Wilson as a witness, Tommy and I have drawn up Wills on sheets of paper torn from our Spelling notebooks. Each of us has bequeathed to the other all of our earthly possessions. I find myself hoping Tommy doesn’t survive because he has a lot more toys than I do. Then I hear Mama’s voice inside my head scolding me for thinking such a thing and I wind up saying a prayer to God just to let the tornado miss us.

I close my eyes as the cement floor beneath me trembles with the rising roar of a freight train and the slap of shoes pounding down the hallway as Mr. Kelly and the principal run toward us from the office. I duck my head, put my arm around Tommy’s shoulders, and pretend I’m holding a mule named Sal.

The incident described by the poem above happened when I was in elementary school. The tornado jumped the school and smashed a car dealership down the road. No one was hurt but we easily could have been. Growing up in Mississippi, tornado drills were a part of life. When the real thing came we knew what to do. Open the windows. Run to the hall. Put our heads between our knees. Pray.

I survived, but I would face another twister (with a stupid friend) several years later in high school.

They had hair down there long before I stopped playing with dolls. I havent masturbated in months because Ive lost my imagination. I close my eyes and I see my father, little girls, german Shepards & TV news commentators, but no voluptuous, pouty lipped, hated-female, sex kittens, winching inecstasy from the illusory positions Ive conjured up in my mind. No, when I close my eyes I see lizards & flipper babies. the ones who where born deformed because their mothers took bad birth control pills.

So since Tilia did her lovely celebrity comparison of Guitar Guy to Dominic Monaghan I thought I'd do my own on the men I've spoken about in previous posts.

First of all, I must concentrate on Kip, since I am missing him like crazy lately. His comparison is hands down the Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal, and not just because they have similar features, but because of their mannerisms, smile and style as well.

For those of you who don't immediately recognize Gael Garcia Bernal's picture, he's starred in many Indie films like The Motorcycle Diaries as Che Guevara, Y Tu Mamma Tambien, the racy Mexican hit about a threesome, his most famous role to date in the beautifully done Amores Perros, Michel Gondry's The Science of Sleepwhere he plays a sweet clueless Canadian who falls in love with Charlotte Gainsbourg and of course, where he plays a fucked up drag queen in Pedro Almodovar's Bad Education, as well as his latest appearance in the award winning Babel.

So basically if you haven't seen any of these films, you need to go watch them now. All of them. If only to feast your eyes on this gorgeous man.

First of all, Kip's eyes are big and brown like Bernal's, and their skin color is very similar as well. Their hair has a similar shall I say, 'bounce' to it, both thick and nice to run through with your fingers. They're even both around the same height.

He's also extremely confident and comfortable in his own skin and nonchalant about his body, which exudes exceptional sexuality. He's completely unaware of his attractiveness, and he's so cool about it. Mind you, he does smoke cigarettes, which I know is a bad habit, and I myself just recently called it quits for good. Go me.

Anyway their playfulness is also quite similar, as once Kip becomes comfortable with someone he can be extremely silly and fun. And when that smile appears on his most innocent face, every good looking man could be in the same room at the same time and I wouldn't glance up, not even once.

He also has the most childlike laugh that makes you want to go run to the backyard, play Twister, run down slides and blow bubbles.

So now perhaps you can see why I'm still a bit hung up on the man, though he remains illusive and mysterious, and still lives clear across the other side of the world. I still can't get over him.

Spin the Bottle, Two Minutes in the Closet, Strip Poker, Naked Twister — in college, flirty ga

Spin the Bottle, Two Minutes in the Closet, Strip Poker, Naked Twister -- in college, flirty games are a rite of passage, but once you settle into your 20s and 30s, and into a real relationship, it’s easy to let all the grown-up stuff push playtime to the back of the line. Bad idea.

Sex games not only break up bedroom boredom, they also open up the lines of communication and give you an excuse to expand your sexual repertoire. Oh yeah, and did we mention that sex games add a new meaning to fun between the sheets?

Here are some sex games that are sure to put the spice back into your bedroom antics.

1- Sexzee Yahtzee
All you need is one die and a vivid imagination. On a piece of paper, both partners write actions to correspond with the numbers. You can keep this one relatively tame (e.g. 1 = foot massage) or push the limits depending on your mood (e.g. 1 = blow job). When you roll, your partner has to deliver. Remember: This is your chance to try out all the “acts” you’ve been too shy to request, so don’t hold back.

Bonus: You can throw in two or more dice for multiple acts performed in a series or at the same time.

2- Truth or Dare?
If you’ve never played this sex game, you’re in for a surprise. Whether you pick truth or dare, you’re sure to uncover a few new (and titillating) things about your partner (and vice versa). All you need to play is a vivid imagination and a healthy sexual appetite. If you get stuck, don’t only ask about her sexual fantasies, bring them to life. As for dare, a striptease or lap dance is always a crowd pleaser. If you don’t want to ask or answer about past sexual escapades, set a rule from the get-go that former flings are off-limits. The last thing you want to do is make her jealous or self-conscious.

Bonus: Play this sex game over dinner for added exhibitionist excitement.

3- 7 Minutes in Heaven
Just because you’re no longer a teenager, it doesn’t mean the closet is off-limits. In the adult version of this game, wait for her in the dark (door closed) while she slips into something more comfortable (or nothing at all). The anticipation and confined space will up the hot factor and the lack of light will heighten your senses. Once she steps inside, kiss her hand, kiss her arm, kiss her collarbone, but hold off kissing her lips until she can’t take it any longer.

Bonus: Turn it into a game that the first person to speak loses.

4- Spin the Bottle
You probably remember Spin the Bottle from the wood-paneled basement days of your youth that was usually played by a bevy of bashful boys and girls. This variation of the classic pushes the boundaries well past kissing. Start by polishing off a bottle of wine; that always helps set the mood. In addition to the empty bottle, you need a marker and a large piece of paper. Start by drawing a circle about twice the size of the wine bottle, divide it into six equal sections and write a sexy request in each section, something both men and women can perform (e.g. French Kiss, Striptease, Partner’s Choice). Take turns spinning the bottle; whatever section you land on, you perform on your partner.

Bonus: Videotape your escapades for later viewing.

5- Sexy Twister
Remember Twister? Remember all those contortionist positions (right leg green, left hand yellow) that had your body entwined with your competitors. Now, picture playing it naked with your girlfriend. The Kama Sutra of board games, all you need for naked Twister is the Twister board and your birthday suit. Spin the wheel and place your limbs where the wheel indicates, making sure not to topple over. To add some excitement, distract your opponent by licking, nuzzling, kissing, and tickling. Last man (or woman) standing wins this sex game.

Bonus: Rather than starting out stark naked, turn Sexy Twister into Strip Twister. With each spin of the wheel, an article of clothing is removed before you take your position.
let the games begin!
The best part of provocative playtime is that no one loses. Not only does playing sex games satiate your sex drive and let you live out your fantasies, carnal competition can bring you closer together. It’s a win-win situation.

Well, long story short because right now I'm just crazy busy....

We had what was one of the scariest weather fronts I've ever seen come right overhead of our neighborhood.

While I should have had my full camera gear bag out, I didn't. As Chase Jarvis just pointed out on his blog it's always a good idea to have a camera around at all times, even if it is an iPhone! LOL.

Here's a couple quick videos I captured as my wife was yelling politely coercing me into the house and down to the basement.

About 32 seconds into the "storm18" clip, I realized it was time to get inside.

No one was injured, maimed or left behind before during or after this video.

Luckily it didn't touch down near anyone.

This is what will happen if you put one set of Twister game, one set of Ludo game, and one set of Uno card plus 15 grown-ups! (well at least, i guess, some of us are grown-ups! obviously not me!) it's equal SO MUCH FUN AND LAUGHTER! and yet, i still didn't count foods and the sodas!

It was great! Too much laugh, my voice will soon be gone, but it was worth it hahahah

I invite them around three PM, and most of them was coming around 3.30 to 4... but even then, the talk was fun! actually Have nothing else to say... but we played Twister, Ludo and Uno (it's sure as hell that it's much more fun to watch people play than to play yourself!) We ate and rank tons of foods and sodas (at least I did). and had great laughs (lauging at other people sure is fun... hahaa) and it's fun too to be laughed at...

Trust me, when you are able to laugh at yourself, you can leave all your worries behind... it sounds cheesy, but i think it's true! Making myself a big fat joke was fun...

well, it's just fun to gather with people you like sometimes... not too often, (cause otherwise you'll get bored and turn hating them) it's great! And how can I said that? well, even my baby cousins looked at us playing... and yeah, we are much much louder than those children...

Anyway.... Guys.... thanks for coming... and remind me to buy more balloons ahahahahaha

And the bane of my existence as a fiction writer has been suffering the jokes and japes of colleagues, friends and family who point out the obvious challenge confronting a writer with my background. Oh, your writing’s a cure for insomnia is it?

Needless to say I stopped bringing up the topic of my fiction a long time ago. I also stopped writing under my own name. This blog was originally intended as a place to find the perfect pseudonym to write under but I had so much fun assuming different identities that I started pretending I was well-established writers along with other people in the public eye. Now I’m being threatened with a number of lawsuits and so I have to officially announce the truth:

   My name is George Tannenbaum.

   I hope you enjoy today’s story…

Arms Entangled in Glory

The game of twister has gone too far. Tim pulls at his left arm which is trapped somewhere between Heather and Susan. His other limbs are no better off. Heather tugs at her right leg which is braced between Tom and Tammy. All the rest of her limbs are likewise preoccupied. Susan can’t move her arms which are plugged in between Tim and Tom. Oh, it’s a nightmare entanglement of everything. “ Does anyone have a free arm?” someone with a level head finally asks. As there’s no eye-contact upon which to guide communication, there’s a jumble of responses which communicates nothing but confusion. Tom shouts above the noise to get silence. “Okay we’re not going to get anywhere with this noise. We’ve got to set up some rules. Otherwise we’ll never get out of this bind.” Someone starts to cry loudly and everyone feels the shudder of her weeping body. “I have a cheerleading practice at seven,” she blubbers. “Crying’s not going help,” Tom shouts. “Let her get it out of her system,” Tim, deep beneath the pile of friends, shouts back. Tom and Tim exchange opinions which in the frustration of the situation turns heated. It’s a horrible first evening for everyone. They fall asleep one by one late in the night with promises of a better world tomorrow.

The next morning Heather wakes up to the sunrise peering in through the living-room windows. With her cheek pressed against Susan’s back she is forced to see nothing but the sunset. There’s a kink in her neck and she rocks her head gently back and forth so as not to wake up Susan. She notices the rise and bloom of the sun. She’s never seen anything like this before. “Now I wake up in wonderment,” she thinks (she’s an English Lit major) “but over the next couple of days, as we will be forced to deal with hunger and other unpleasant bodily functions, what will I think of this sunset then? Will it become an emblem of oppression? Will I end up hating the sun and forever after seek refuge in a cave? Will we be found in time?” And so writes out her thoughts in a diary that she shimmies out of her pocket. A pen is retrieved in the same way.

That’s how I came to know their story and the 32 days of horror that they suffered through bickering over Milton Bradley’s liability, (but they did break the rules of playing with more than four), the nature of the universe – a globe, a sphere, a cluttered mass, the nature of man – good, bad or indifferent and when their skeletons were found in a heap of bones by their concerned landlord, I was called in to investigate their situation.

And now months later I wander the streets telling strangers the tale of the entangled teens. Some days I’m optimistic: insofar as none of them lost that game, they all won. But what a horrible victory.

One: He grew up listening to Van Halen, and loves Eddie's playing.

Two: My dad loves storms, especially tornados. He does't just like storms he LOVES them!

I wanted to post the video because I absolutely love the song and I also like storms a lot. No where even close to my dad, but I don't think anyone does. Thats NOT a bad thing. I remember a while back, My dad, Brother, Me, and I think my mom was there. We were on our way home from visiting my grandparents house at the lake and way off in the distance there was a tornado. We pulled over. Just to get out and get a better look at the tornado. It was for sure at the time it was the most amazing and the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. It was wonderful. I was young so my dad just picked me up and put me on the top of the car. Man!!! Talking about this makes me want to watch Twister. We have it, but it is on VHS and we don't have a VCR anymore. That really sucks!! Oh well!

Welp, I am going to Texas on moday. My dad is going for work but, the rest of us are going for fun!! I a going to miss jordan with all my might but I think I will have fun!

Im off for now!!

In a two part event, William Redman details the ten things that will never get old in America. Today: the first five.

There are certain things in this America that will be forever used to compare the rest of humanity. These things are a barometer with which all other things are gauged and we as human beings are beholden to their power. Few things can compare to them because, not unlike Don Imus (Around 30 seconds in), they are simply in a league of their own. They define us as a nation; they bring us closer, and lift us higher, so that one day we may touch the face of God.

They are as follows in no particular order:

1. Confederate Flags-This icon of sheer brilliance has found its way on to album covers, mustard stained t-shirts, truck bumpers, torn hats, garage walls, the hood of the General Lee and the top of the South Carolina capitol building. It is the oldest and most cherished symbol of American ingenuity and will be used by generations to come as the ultimate statement of rawhide masculinity. “Get the muthafuck off my lawn!” It screams, racistly, and with undying venom. “Muthafuck, if you don’t geeet outta here I’ma eeeeet yer family!” This is a tradition that simply must live on.

2. The Withdrawal Method- One would think that this way of life could be perfected over the centuries. But in fact it has not. You simply can’t reinvent or better what is already best. This method of birth control is the John Madden of contraception. It just doesn’t get any better than this. You think you can come up with a new idea and then it says, “Boom!” loudly and without purpose. Withdrawal method, you are here to stay.

3. The Belt used in the Movie Twister- This bad boy is the king of the inanimate object jungle. It blows the inanimate carbon rod way out of the water. When was the last time a person in a film, comic book, regular book or dream was saved, literally had his or her life saved by strapping a belt to a water pipe? Seriously, if I had that belt I could cross so much shit off my bucket list. But alas I can never have it, as it is an illusory with which I am forever plagued to compare all my belts against. And my life.

4. The Program ‘To Catch a Predator’- As Benjamin Franklin or a very persuasive impersonator once said, “High school girls: I get older, they stay the same age.” (Statement made about 47 seconds into the clip) It seems that, like the riddle of the great sphinx, this statement will forever be true. Ergo, the program, or the concept behind Chris Hansen's contribution to humanity is the ultimate philosophical gem on MSNBC at the moment. High school girls will always be the same age, but gullible men with a fetish for AIM chat rooms and Twisted Tea are never in short supply. (P.S. please nominate Chris Hansen for either Time’s person of the year or the next Jesus.)

5. Things Said by Professional Athletes- Nobody can forget or deny the fact that John Rocker loves people who aren't white and have purple hair, teenage mothers, ex-cons and is most tolerant of homosexuals with HIV/AIDS. John Rocker loves these people, the left wing media is taking his statement out of context. I mean, c'mon, I thought this was America.
