Needle at Sea Bottom is not just the name of a posture in the Yang Form. It is an example of how myth and fact have blended throughout China's long history to become accepted as history. Accounts of events and figures from the earliest Neolithic years were not recorded in writing until much later. The exploits of great mythical and historical figures preserved for centuries in spoken tales made their way into written records in many different versions. One of the earliest myths, the story of Great Yu concerns events over 4,000 year old.<!--more--><br />
The story of Yu is bound up with the history of the Yellow River, which watered the cradle of Chinese civilization. Sometimes called "China's Sorrow", the life-giving river also took lives, repeatedly bursting its banks in floods and changing course 26 times over 2000 years. "Whoever controls the Yellow River controls China", said Yu. He is described as an engineer, a man of great virtue dedicated to serving the people and he is credited with the first "taming" of the river. The basis of his moral teachings were deciphered from a scroll of writing on the back of a "divine tortoise" which had presented itself to him while he was engaged in drawing off the floods. Because of his actions, he was made Emperor and is credited with founding the Xia Dynasty (2205-1767 BC).</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Another version of Yu's life relates that he and his father Gun were superhuman beings who attempted to help the ancient earth, which was covered by floods, Gun stole from heaven the magic "ever-swelling soil" to construct dams. When he failed and died, Yu took over and constructed channels for the water to drain to the sea. He fashioned the land into nine islands or provinces, which he gave to the humans.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">In a much later story, Great Yu tamed floods with the help of Ying Dragon and a great iron chain, Ying Dragon's tail would split in two blockages on the river, and Great Yu would leave a great iron chain to hang down to the river bottom. After taming the floods, Great Yu or Wondrous Yu chained up the dragon to prevent trouble. In both these versions, Great Yu accomplishes his work by not fighting the waters. Dams failed because earth cannot control water. Channeling the water worked after iron was used to stabilize the flow by making the water heavy.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify;">Finally, Yu the Great is honored by inclusion in the well-known 16th century literary work Journey to the West. In Volume I, Chapter 3 of this epic, Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, called a meeting on the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. His followers had all trained diligently on weapons taken from the palace of the Prince of Aolai, but the Monkey King lacked a suitable weapon for himself. His advisers stated that a Divine Sage should not have to use an earthly weapon and urged the Monkey King to travel underwater to the Dragon palace of the Eastern Sea and ask for whatever weapon he would like. The Monkey King journeyed under the sea and was announced as an Exalted Immortal to Ao Guang, the Old Dragon King. The Monkey King made known his need and desire for a weapon. An increasingly anxious Ao Guang, the Old Dragon King offered him first a large sword, then a nine- pronged spear and last a patterned heavenly halberd, The Monkey King tried and rejected them all as "too light, far too light", despite the Old Dragon King, Ao Guang's cry that each weapon weighed thousands of pounds.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Seeing the Old Dragon King, Ao Guang's terror, his Dragon wife and daughters spoke of a piece of iron shining with a rosy glow, "That piece of miraculous iron is one of the nails that Yu the Great used to fix the depth of rivers and seas when he brought the waters under control", said the Dragon King. "What use could it be?" However, Ao Guang described the iron nail to The Monkey King who was eager to try it out. He found it to be an iron pillar 20 feet long and very thick. He voiced the wish that it be shorter and thinner, whereupon it immediately shrank. Tossing it into the air, he wished for it to be thinner still, and so it was. Examining it closely, he saw two gold bands around the black iron middle part with the line of writing "As You Will Gold Banded Cudgel: Weight 13,500 pounds." Delighted with his new weapon, the Monkey King, the Heaven Born King, frightened the Old Dragon King into calling forth his brothers the Dragon Kings of Southern, Northern, and Western Seas so that he could obtain clothes worthy of his new weapon, the iron cudgel. The Dragon Kings vowed among themselves to file a protest with heaven about the Monkey King's behavior. But fearing the powers of the Monkey King and his weapon, the Dragon Kings gifted him with lotus-root cloud-walking shoes, a suit of golden chain mail, and a phoenix-winged purple gold helmet.<br />
The Monkey returned to his Mountain and awed his followers with his iron weapon and his glorious appearance. By chanting "shrink, shrink, shrink" the Monkey King's great iron pillar could shrink to needle size and be hidden in his ear, Then when he chanted, "grow, grow, grow" the needle could grow back to twenty feet long and be as thick as a peck of grain. The Monkey King exclaimed to his followers that everything has its rightful owner. The iron piece had been lying in the sea treasury for thousand of years but it just started shining this year. None of the Dragon King's men could move it, so he fetched it himself. And so he, the Monkey King, Heaven Born Sage, claimed the iron pillar as his personal weapon.<br />
Engineer, ruler, superhuman being, and literary allusion are all fitting names for the Great Yu. There are other versions of his story not listed here, including one recorded in 4th century B.C.E. that seems to emphasize Confucian qualities of diligence and piety, And even though his name does not appear in its title, Great Yu's story in all of its versions is the story of "Needle at Sea Bottom..."</p>

<strong>Pierre Bordage : </strong>Câ€™est un terme musical. Et je considĂ¨re lâ€™Ă©criture comme une musique, une musique intĂ©rieure. Il existe donc une rĂ©sonance entre le bruit, souvent disharmonieux, du monde actuel, et ma propre musique. Comme si le son extĂ©rieur rencontrait le son intĂ©rieur. Je fais partie de ce monde, câ€™est un phĂ©nomĂ¨ne tout Ă  fait normal. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#808080;"><strong>Z : </strong>Dans "Les guerriers du silence", le son est un Ă©lĂ©ment essentiel. Il symbolise lâ€™Ă©nergie. Quel rapport entretenez vous avec le son et lâ€™ouieÂ ?</span><br />

<span style="color:#999999;">P.B : </span></strong><span style="color:#999999;">Le son est Ă  mon avis la base de lâ€™univers.Â  Le verbe fait chair. La vibration fondamentale. Ou lâ€™Ă©nergie, Ă  lâ€™image du fameux Om, le mantra universel utilisĂ© dans les religions orientales. Lâ€™ouĂŻe est donc un sens essentiel. Mais pas seulement lâ€™oreille, lâ€™Ă©coute intĂ©rieure, la perception subtile de sa propre note. </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#808080;"><strong>Z : </strong>Et avec la musique ?</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#999999;"><strong>P.B : </strong>Jâ€™adore la musique. Jâ€™ai fait de la guitare, du banjo et du chant quand jâ€™Ă©tais plus jeune (Ă§a fait longtemps !). Jâ€™aime beaucoup les musiques traditionnelles de diffĂ©rentes parties du monde, le old time amĂ©ricain, la musique irlandaise, les rags indiensâ€¦Â et aussi la musique du monde (type Enya ou Stivell), la musique classique, les chants religieux comme le grĂ©gorien (jâ€™ai appris la notation grĂ©gorienne, la notation carrĂ©e, dans mon trĂ¨s jeune temps, il y a trĂ¨s trĂ¨s trĂ¨s longtemps :)), mais aussi le rock (Led Zep, U2, Deep Purple, Police etc). Et puis mes enfants mâ€™ont enseignĂ© le rap et le slamâ€¦Â bref, jâ€™aime toutes sorte de musiques.<br />

<span style="color:#808080;"><strong>Z : </strong>Le premier prophĂ¨te de "La trilogie des prophĂ©ties" est un rappeurÂ : Taj ma Rage. Pourquoi ce choixÂ ?</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#999999;"><strong>P.B : </strong>Eh bien il me semblait coller Ă  la rĂ©alitĂ© du moment. Câ€™est la version rock (=rage) de notre temps. Donc,Â au plus prĂ¨s des rĂ©alitĂ©s de ce monde. Une expression indispensable, urgente des travers de notre Ă©poque, mĂŞme si, hĂ©las, le rap a rapidement virĂ© au matĂ©rialisme hideux (nanas court vĂŞtues, grosses bagnoles, maisons dĂ©lirantes, cocaĂŻne et rĂ¨glements de compte).<br />

<p style="text-align:justify;"><span style="color:#808080;"><strong>Z : </strong>12 guerriers du silence, 12 apĂ´tres. Lâ€™Ă©vangile du serpent, encore une fois les apĂ´tres. Le Mahdi Shari, la rĂ©fĂ©rence Ă  lâ€™islam. Lâ€™antra, le mantra. Les JersalĂ©mines, IsraĂ«l. Dans vos rĂ©cits, les rĂ©fĂ©rences au religieux sont nombreuses. Pourquoi tant y puiserÂ ?</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#999999;"><strong>P.B : </strong>Mince, je suis dĂ©couvertÂ !Â  Jâ€™ai Ă©tĂ© bercĂ© dans mon enfance par les rĂ©cits religieux, et jâ€™en ai probablement gardĂ© quelque chose. Blague Ă  part, je crois que les rĂ©cits mythologiques, fondateurs, continuent de nous influencer fortement, et quâ€™il est bon dâ€™y revenir de temps en temps pour mieux affronter les rĂ©alitĂ©s du prĂ©sent. Je pense quâ€™ils recĂ¨lent des vĂ©ritĂ©s Ă©ternelles, pour peu quâ€™on sache les lire avec toute lâ€™ouverture dâ€™esprit nĂ©cessaire, loin de la vision dogmatique des religions constituĂ©es.</span></p>

Nâ€™y a-t-il pas quâ€™un leader qui permette aux hommes de dĂ©passer leurs peursÂ ? </span></p>
<p><span style="color:#999999;"><strong>P.B : </strong>CF la rĂ©ponse prĂ©cĂ©denteÂ : la religion et sa vision dogmatique enferme le croyant, tandis que la vĂ©ritable spiritualitĂ© le libĂ¨re. Les hommes ont toujours besoin de paroles libĂ©ratrices, de prophĂ¨tes, mais surtout pas de guides ou de leaders. Ou ils sâ€™identifient aux guides aux leaders en oubliant le sens premier de leurs paroles. Le problĂ¨me est que le disciple ne partage pas lâ€™expĂ©rience du prophĂ¨te, quâ€™il se sert de son cerveau, de son intellect, pour forger des vĂ©ritĂ©s dogmatiques et les imposer aux autres. Un bon prophĂ¨te nâ€™est pas un leader, quelquâ€™un qui prend le pouvoir, mais un grand frĂ¨re, un humain compatissant qui montre la voie aux hommes dans la souffrance. Un guide, peut-ĂŞtre, mais un guide qui nâ€™attire jamais le regard sur lui, un guide qui dĂ©friche le chemin.<br />

Quand on se scrute avec sincĂ©ritĂ©, on est effarĂ© par le nombre de conditionnements qui nous gouvernentÂ : sexuel, racial, religieux, national, linguistique, chronologique, socialâ€¦Â Nous regardons le monde avec des lunettes filtrantes. LeÂ  renoncement, câ€™est donc se dĂ©pouiller peu Ă  peu des filtres pour regarder le monde tel quâ€™il est. AttentionÂ : je ne parle pas de lâ€™ascĂ©tisme. Il y a parfois plus de conditionnement dans lâ€™ascĂ©tisme que dans lâ€™accumulation de richesses. Il sâ€™agit seulement dâ€™un regard, dâ€™une prise de conscience. Le chamanisme repose sur lâ€™expĂ©rience et nâ€™est du coup jamais dogmatique. Il est souvent liĂ© au nomadisme, Ă  cette confiance accordĂ©e aux cycles, Ă  la puissance nourriciĂ¨re de la terre. Jâ€™ai lâ€™impression que la sĂ©dentaritĂ©, la notion de propriĂ©tĂ© et de transmission, engendre presque automatiquement la loi, le dogme, le conditionnement.<br />

Câ€™est pourquoi il doit ĂŞtre prĂ©servĂ© Ă  tout prix.Â  Il y a cependant une diffĂ©rence entre les Scaythes, qui cherchent Ă  contrĂ´ler les esprits, et Solman ou Dame Sibrit, qui reĂ§oivent des communications extrasensorielles. Je crois que ces Ă©changes pourraient ĂŞtre merveilleux si les humains ne cherchaient pas immĂ©diatement Ă  en tirer profit.<br />

Je crois que les humains sont plus liĂ©s quâ€™ils ne le pensent, mais quâ€™ils sont piĂ©gĂ©s par les apparences. La dualitĂ©, câ€™est selon la tradition hindoue lâ€™illusion, les contraires, les hauts et les bas, la souffrance et le bonheur, lâ€™espace et le temps. Les personnages sont des illustrations de la dualitĂ©. Ils ont donc des pĂ´les contraires, voire contradictoires, pour reprendre votre image de la bipolaritĂ©. Ce sont ces hauts et ces bas qui illustrent les tiraillements intĂ©rieurs, la recherche inconsciente dâ€™unitĂ© sous lesÂ  oripeaux de la dualitĂ©. Il y a toujours des failles dans leurs conditionnements. Et ce sont ces failles qui font Ă  mon sens toute la richesse de personnages. </span></p>

Pourquoi vouloir toujours jouer sur les deux tableaux de la sexualitĂ©, aussi bien dans toute sa beautĂ© que dans toute son horreur, Ă  lâ€™image du parcours de Lucie, dont la trajectoire sexuelle endosse tous les rĂ´lesÂ ? </span></p>

Je nâ€™Ă©cris pas de scĂ¨nes de sexe pour le sexe, ce sont les passages les plus difficiles Ă  Ă©crire, avec tous les piĂ¨ges qui guettent lâ€™auteur, la pornographie, la vulgaritĂ©, la miĂ¨vrerie, le symbolisme outrancierâ€¦Â Reste que, effectivement, le sexe peut ĂŞtre la plus belle et la pire des choses. Et que, souvent, les hommes (les mĂ˘les) sâ€™en servent pour asseoir une domination physique. Je nâ€™essaie pas de jouer sur deux tableaux, jâ€™en parle seulement dans toutes ses dimensions, horreur et beautĂ©. Il suffit de considĂ©rer une guerre, mĂŞme actuelleÂ : le viol sâ€™y pratique de faĂ§on systĂ©matique, conquĂŞte des ventres comme conquĂŞte des terres. Et puis, je crois fortement que notre prĂ©tendue libĂ©ration sexuelle masque une vĂ©ritable misĂ¨re sur ce plan-lĂ . La sexualitĂ© moderne est basĂ©e sur la performance, sur la recherche forcenĂ©e de lâ€™orgasme et reprĂ©sente Ă  mon avis une nouvelle forme de tyrannie qui en laisse beaucoup sur le bas-cĂ´tĂ©.<br />

Il se trouve que je viens de finir le tome 2 de la FraternitĂ© du Panca dont le hĂ©ros est une hĂ©roĂŻne. Et puis vous ĂŞtes un peu dur avec moi. Mes personnages fĂ©minins ne sont pas si passifs que Ă§aÂ : Aphykit, Yelle, dans les Guerriers du Silence, Ellula dans Abzalon,Tia dans les Fables de lâ€™Humpurâ€¦ et il y en a bien dâ€™autres, sont des femmes qui agissent, qui se dĂ©passent, selon votre expression, qui prennent leurs responsabilitĂ©s. Câ€™est trĂ¨s paradoxal, cette histoire lĂ Â : on mâ€™a fait le reproche, parfois virulent, de faire de mes personnages fĂ©minins des putes ou des saintes, or certaines lectrices mâ€™ont dit quâ€™elles adoraient les personnages fĂ©minins de mes livres, quâ€™elles sâ€™y reconnaissaient. De lĂ  je dois dĂ©duire que ce nâ€™est quâ€™une question de regard, quâ€™on instruit des procĂ¨s en partant parfois dâ€™un livre et en pensant que toute lâ€™Ĺ“uvre est du mĂŞme tonneau. DerniĂ¨re chose, comme je suis un homme (syndrome Michel Polnareff), je vais plus facilement vers des personnages masculins. Bon, jâ€™avoue que je suis un peu fatiguĂ© de ces controverses, et que je nâ€™ai plus envie de me justifier.Â  De toute faĂ§on, quoi que je fasse, je me ferai allumer :). </span></p>

La femme qui dĂ©clenche, lâ€™initiatrice, est un thĂ¨me vieux comme le monde et trĂ¨s largement repris par les auteurs mĂ©diĂ©vaux. Cela vient peut-ĂŞtre de la relation maternelle, car sâ€™il y a un domaine oĂą la femme ne peut pas ĂŞtre surpassĂ©e, câ€™est celui de la maternitĂ©, du pouvoir de donner la vie. La premiĂ¨re porte, la premiĂ¨re initiation. Je crois malheureusement que la science, la vision masculine de la vie, a confisquĂ© aux femmes leur magnifique pouvoir de perpĂ©tuer la vie. Avant la science, câ€™Ă©taient les religions du Verbe, monothĂ©istes. Les hommes cherchent par tous les moyens Ă  contrĂ´ler ce quâ€™ils ne comprennent pas, Ă  remplacer par des dogmes et des lois (y compris scientifiques) lâ€™expĂ©rience de laquelle ils sont exclus. Si on veut que la femme soit lâ€™avenir de lâ€™homme, il faut commencer par reconnaĂ®tre que la femme est le prĂ©sent de lâ€™homme.<br />

Lâ€™idĂ©e Ă©tait dâ€™illustrer lâ€™effet trame humaine sur deux plans, lâ€™horizontalitĂ© avec les deux personnages principaux (Stef et Pibe, Luc et Jemma), la verticalitĂ© avec des petites fenĂŞtres ouvertes sur dâ€™autres vies et toutes reliĂ©es, dâ€™une faĂ§on ou dâ€™une autre, le tout donnant une vision dĂ©taillĂ©e de lâ€™univers mis en place. Un film part de ce principeÂ : la Ronde de Max OphĂĽls (enfin, je crois). Il sâ€™agit aussi de montrer que chaque action, de la plus hĂ©roĂŻque Ă  la plus sordide, a un impact sur lâ€™ensemble la trame, quâ€™aucun choix nâ€™est anodin. Jâ€™aime beaucoup cette phrase du ChristÂ : ce que vous faites au plus petit dâ€™entre nous, câ€™est Ă  moi que vous le faites. Nous nâ€™avons plus que des chroniqueurs. MĂŞme un journal comme Charlie Hebdo se coule dans le conformisme ambiant. Le sens critique se perd. Cela tient au fait que mĂ©dias et monde politique sont issus des mĂŞmes moules, des mĂŞmes usines Ă  penser. Effarant. En ces temps de retour Ă  la monarchie galopante, nous voyons le spectacle dâ€™une petite cour oĂą les bouffons profĂ¨rent quelques bons mots pour entretenir les derniĂ¨res illusions de libertĂ© de penser. Ainsi, les mots solidaritĂ©, partage, justice sont devenus ringardsâ€¦Â Les rĂ©formes ne sont quâ€™un dĂ©mantĂ¨lementÂ  organisĂ© dâ€™un systĂ¨me social qui Ă©tait, Ă  mon avis, la pointe de la modernitĂ©. Le darwinisme vers lequel on tend, lâ€™individualisme, la loi du plus fort ne sont que des retours en arriĂ¨re. Et aucun journaliste pour sâ€™en Ă©mouvoir.<br />

Il faut Ă©galement en accepter les excĂ¨s, les dĂ©rives, mais je crois malheureusement que le temps de la censure approche et que la mise au pas du Net passera par le fantasme sĂ©curitaire. Prenez une Ă©gliseÂ : partant des meilleures intentions (la libĂ©ration de lâ€™individu de ses conditionnementsÂ / recherche du bonheur), elle devient peu Ă  peu une lourde structure dogmatique qui nie lâ€™individu, ses dĂ©sirs, ses aspirations, ses Ă©motions, et instaure le contrĂ´le collectif, avec tous les abus et la violence que cela entraĂ®ne. De mĂŞme, un homme dans une foule peut devenir le pire des loups pour ses semblables.Â  Câ€™est Ă  partir de sa facultĂ© de penser que lâ€™individu peut vraiment explorer ce qui constitue son moi et accĂ©der Ă  la vĂ©ritable libertĂ© intĂ©rieure, loin des dogmes et des conditionnements.Â  Mais la tĂ˘che nâ€™est pas facile, il faut savoir sâ€™observer et dĂ©terminer la part de conditionnement dans ses propres rĂ©actions. Câ€™est Ă©videmment en rapport avec ce que je disais prĂ©cĂ©demment, le refus du partage, lâ€™avĂ¨nement du libĂ©ralisme pur et dur, le darwinisme social. Lâ€™Europe aurait pu et dĂ» ĂŞtre un nouveau modĂ¨le, un modĂ¨le politique et social basĂ© sur le choix et non la force, et elle est en train de se calquer sur le modĂ¨le amĂ©ricain. VoilĂ  pourquoi jâ€™ai votĂ© non au rĂ©fĂ©rendum, lequel vote nâ€™a strictement servi Ă  rien, ce qui est un dĂ©ni absolu de dĂ©mocratie (oĂą sont les journalistesÂ ? ah oui, ils Ă©taient tous pour le oui, comme les hommes politiques). Malheureusement, il nâ€™y a pas de projet politique europĂ©en. Je pense que lâ€™Europe actuelle Ă©chouera parce que les EuropĂ©ens ne sont pas des animaux quâ€™on gave dâ€™euros et de produits chinois, ils ont besoin dâ€™histoires, de mythologies, de consultations, dâ€™explicationsâ€¦Â Je crains quâ€™en lâ€™Ă©tat actuel des choses,Â les peuples nâ€™opĂ¨rent un retour en arriĂ¨re (comme ont tendance Ă  le montrer les consultations populaires, France, Pays-Bas, Irlande), un frileux repli sur soi. Lâ€™instinct grĂ©gaire, les vieux rĂ©flexes animaux. Bref, on est en train de manquer lâ€™Europe, par manque de vision, et jâ€™en suis dĂ©solĂ©, je pense que câ€™est Ă  lâ€™origine un magnifique projet. </span></p>

La SF, lâ€™anticipation ne sont que des faĂ§ons dĂ©tournĂ©es de parler du prĂ©sent. Des dĂ©rives quâ€™on sent venir et quâ€™on grossit pour mieux les cerner. Je ne sais pas si ce que je dĂ©cris va se produire, jâ€™espĂ¨re que non. Si le simple fait de lâ€™Ă©crire pouvait le dĂ©tourner, alors je mâ€™estimerais comblĂ©. Mais quand on lit 1984, et quand on voit lâ€™obsession du contrĂ´le en 2008, on se dit que, parfois, les auteurs dâ€™anticipation ont rĂ©ellement anticipĂ©. </span></p>

<p>Sememangnya kehidupan di dunia ini memerlukan wang. Tetapi... susahnya mencari wang. Bila terjumpa jalan yang kita sangkakan mudah, rupa-rupanya susah juga. Bagi yang makan gaji, keadaan yang serupa berlaku setiap bulan. Mengira belanjawan bulanan. Tidak kurang juga yang berniaga. Mengira untung rugi setiap hari, minggu, bulan dan tahun. Masih juga belum cukup-cukup.</p>
<p>Sampai bilakah perkara ini mahu berterusan??? Tidakkah ada cara di mana kita tidak perlu lagi mencari wang, tetapi, wang mencari kita. Seterusnya kita tidak lagi berfikir bagaimana mahu mencari wang, tetapi berfikir bagaimana mahu membelanjakan wang. Jawapannya ADA CARA!!!</p>
<p>Â </p>
<p><strong>TAKLIMAT</strong></p>
<p>Kekayaan adalah sesuatu yang subjektif. Kekayaan ada di dalam diri seseorang dan ukurannya bukan secara relatifnya ukuran kebendaan jatau kewangan. Jika kita diteliti Al-Quran Surah Al-Asr, "Demi masa, sesungguhnya manusia di dalam kerugian. Kecuali orang yang beriman dan beramal soleh. Dan berpesan-pesan kepada kebenaran. Dan berpesan-pesan kepada kesabaran."</p>
<p>Mari kita hitung modal diri kita ini, dari hujung rambut hingga ke hujung kaki, meliputi zahir dan batin. Berapakah nilai wang untuk sepasang mata dan penglihatan? sepasang telinga dan pendengaran? Juga sekelian nikmat yang meliputi diri kita termasuklah yang paling mahal nilainya iaitu NYAWA? Habis kering air di lautan dijadikan tinta. Gondol pokok-pokok dijadikan kertas dan pena. Masih banyak lagi yang tidak habis ditulis. Katalah, kita letakkan nilai keseluruhannya diri kita ialah USD100,000,000,000 sebagai modal untuk menjalani kehidupan yang singkat ini. Dengan modal yang sebegini banyak, kita hanya memperolehi pendapatan USD1000 sehari. Sepanjang 365 hari untuk 40 tahun, jumlah terkumpul ialah USD14,600,000 sahaja. Pada ketika itu hari tua sudah menjelma (40 hari sebelum ajal). Kesimpulannya, hasil yang diperolehi ialah 0.0146 peratus untuk sebuah perniagaan selama 40 tahun. Bayangkan,Â selama 40 tahun berniaga, setiap modal USD100 yang dikeluarkan, hanya membawa pulangan 1.46 cents. Sebenarnya pengiraan ini tidak benar sama sekali,Â kerana nilai diri kita bukanlah nilai wang. Namun demi memberi kefahaman, saya meletakkan satu angka dan pengiraan mudah. Maka, kalau pun bukan rugi, tetap sia-sia perniagaan ini.</p>
<p>Benarlah Firman Allah "Demi masa, sesungguhnya manusia di dalam kerugian."</p>

<p><strong>SURATAN DAN TAKDIR</strong></p>
<p>Suratan adalah apa yang tertulis di Umul Kitab tersimpan di Luh Makhfuz dan belum berlaku. Takdir adalah setelah berlakunya suratan tersebut, sebagai sebuah ketetapan di dalam Sunnatullah, yang digelar Qada' dan Qadar. Maka selagi suratan belum menjadi takdir, kita berhak memohon perubahan seizin Allah. Saya sekadar menyentuh skop peribadi seseorang yang ditakdirkan untuk membaca ARTIKEL ini. Takdir boleh diubah dengan DOA.Â Ia boleh dilakukan dimana-mana sahaja dan sebaik-baiknyaÂ semasa atau selepas SOLAT. Juga pada waktu-waktu yang mustajab atauÂ di tempat-tempat yang mustajab. Sayugia, diri yang belum suci dari dosa, bagaimana mahu di bawa mengadap mengemukakan permohonan. Sedangkan penyucian itu bukanlah sekadar kosmetik untuk menutupi dosa. Penyucian adalah dengan jalanÂ TAUBAT iaitu kembali ke FITRAH manusia yang azali. Fitrah manusia adalah sebagai umat Muhammad. Fitrah Muhammad adalah kekasih Allah Rabbul Izzati. Allah tiada tuhan lain selain hanya DIA. Dzat semata-mata.</p>
<p>Bagi mengenalpasti dan memahamiÂ perkara yang beratÂ ini, kita wajib kembali ke pangkal jalan. Bebanan yang berat ialah nafsu. Nafsu mesti ditenangkan sehingga ke martabat MUTMAINNAH.Â Nafsu yangÂ jinak ibarat air tasik yang tenang. Dipermukaannya kita nampak bayang-bayang diri. Di dasarnya, kita nampak KEINDAHAN DANÂ KELAZATAN.Â Jalannya tiada lain melainkan PUASA. Menjalani puasa Ramadhan adalah kewajiban untuk kita sampai ke fitrah yang tersebut. Hanya yang layak sahaja menyambut AIDIL FITRI setelah sempurna zakat fitrahnya. Selebihnya hanya menyambut Hari Raya. Puasa lain ialah puasa khusus, bagi sesiapa yang ditakdirkan membaca artikel ini. IaÂ bergantung kepada HARI LAHIR masing-masing, iaitu samada AHAD, ISNIN, SELASA, RABU, KHAMIS, JUMAATÂ atau SABTU. Menjalani puasa khusus denganÂ tujuan kembali keÂ FITRAH asal, untuk memperbaharui SURATAN yang telah kita persetujui sebelum tiba ke alam SYAHADAH ini. Perubahan tertakluk kepadaÂ seizin Allah dan sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pengasih Lagi Maha Penyayang.</p>

<p><strong>METODOLOGI</strong></p>
<p>Setiap syariat akan melalui tarikat menuju hakikat yang diliputi oleh makrifat. Setiap niat dan penghasilan adalah AURAD peribadi atau rahsia masing-masing. Inilah sebahagian petunjuk ke arah PERBENDAHARAAN YANG TERSEMBUNYI, yang ada di dalam diri setiap insan. Ia bagaikan permata yangÂ disimpan menjadi MANIKAM danÂ apabila dikeluarkan menjadi SEKAM.Â  Walau apapun niat kita, sesungguhnya Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Adil. Apalah gunanya kita berebut-rebut rezeki yang ditabur, sedangkan kita sebagai orang beriman lagi Islam, boleh sampai kepada Yang Maha Memberi Rezeki. Dengan hanya berpuasa, tanpa modal material bahkan menjimatkan, AYUH REALISASIKAN CITA-CITA DAN HARAPAN ANDA.</p>

<p><span style="color:#000080;">Kenneth Wang is standing for ACT is the new Botany electorate, his </span><a href="http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&#38;objectid=10534672"><span style="color:#000080;">billboards suggest</span></a><span style="color:#000080;"> that by giving him the electorate vote constituents will end up with two ethnic Chinese MP's, this is because </span><span style="text-decoration:line-through;"><span style="color:#000080;">Pinsy</span></span><span style="color:#000080;">Â Pansy is assured a seat because of her high list placing. This all makes perfect sense, except that this election with have got the efforts of Labour and friends desperate attempt to stop anyone else advertising themselves this elections.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;">The EFA is a load of steaming shite, and a normal persons reading of it would indicate that Ken is not asking you to vote for Wong, rather he's saying vote for me (Wang), because then you'll get me (Wang) and her (Wong). The EFA seems to be designed to keep lawyers employed, so I'm sure there will be a far more legalistic interpretation that goes in the other direction.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;">As a publicity stunt It seems to be working a treat because </span><span style="text-decoration:line-through;"><span style="color:#000080;">Pinsy</span></span><span style="color:#000080;">Â Pansy Wong walked right into this one... she should have just shut up and said nothing, then again, seeing she is going to get back in anyway it's National 2005, and they're going to fight for every vote, even if it is wasted.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#000080;">If you are in Botany, and you aren't going to be voting for Labour, Greens, NZ First or whatever Jimbo's party is called, and you'd like to see a National led government, and you'd like a bit more Asian-Chinese representation, then following Wangs advice is the way to go.</span></p>

<p class="PreformattedText"><span>You can almost tell when Wayne Wang makes films that he probably considers closer to his heart: they come in pairs. <em>Dim Sum: A Little Bit of Heart</em> (1985), was accompanied by <em>Dim Sum Take Out</em>, a short film made up of outtakes from the previous film. <em>Smoke</em> (1995), written by the novelist Paul Auster, was followed by <em>Blue in the Face</em> (1995), a series of improvisations based on the characters from Smoke.</span></p>
<p class="PreformattedText">His two latest films -â€“ <em>A Thousand Years of Good Prayers</em> (winner of the Golden Shell for Best Film at the 2008 San Sebastian Film Festival) and <em>The Princess of Nebraska</em>, both from 2007<em>Â </em>-- are companion movies as well: both are based on short stories by the prize-winning Oakland-based writer Yiyun Li. They are studies in contrasting cinematic styles, as well: slow, elegant takes for <em>A Thousand Years</em>; smeared handheld digital cameras for the other.</p>
<p class="PreformattedText"><!--more--></p>
<p class="PreformattedText"><em>A Thousand Years of Good Prayers</em> revolves around Mr. Shi, played by Henry O (winner of the Best Actor award at the San Sebastian Film Festival). The widower has arrived from Beijing to visit his daughter in Spokane, Yilan (Feihong Yu), in an attempt to help her recover from her recent divorce. His presence isn't exactly welcome, however; he's a little too solicitous (though no doubt engendered by protectiveness), and overly curious at the same time â€“ understandable, because his daughter isn't exactly forthcoming with information.</p>
<p class="PreformattedText">Mr. Shi spends his time, as no doubt many Asian immigrant retirees do, navigating the dislocated curiosities of American suburbia: the bus, Mormon missionaries, a man practicing his golf swing in his backyard, a woman in a bikini who spends all her time lounging by the pool. (A lesser filmmaker would have mined these situations for laughs, but the scenes have an oddly calm dignity of their own, anchored by Oâ€™s performance.) But all these are ultimately more understandable than the gulf, widened by their circuitous communication, full of silences and gaps, between father and daughter.</p>
<p class="PreformattedText">But perhaps the more appropriate reference points for both films are Wang's first major films, <em>Chan Is Missing</em>Â (1982) and <em>Dim Sum</em>. Both mark a clear revisiting of the films at the beginning of Wang's career arc: a looser, more episodic narrative, an interest in pared-down family relationships and what makes them operate. <em>Dim Sum</em>, in particular, is about a recently-widowed mother and her daughter, whom the former wants to marry off before she, too, passes on. (There's even a same shot, of parent and daughter at the dinner table, repeated a few times in both movies; as with <em>Dim Sum</em>, food forms the visual third point of the triangle.)</p>
<p class="PreformattedText">The best scenes in <em>A Thousand Years of Good Prayers</em> are those that deal with incomprehension: a series of scenes when Mr. Shi attempts to converse with an elderly Persian woman (Vida Ghahremani) he meets regularly at a park. Neither can speak English well (though in Li's short story, neither can barely speak a common language at all). But there's something sharp and real and gently comic about their conversations â€“ here, as in <em>Chan Is Missing</em>, deliberately unsubtitled â€“ about the way they nod uncomprehendingly, too polite to tell the other of their lack of understanding. And yet they manage to communicate in more meaningful ways than father and daughter do.</p>
<p class="PreformattedText">The film is full of long takes, but the odd thing about them is that they are, in fact, too short; they're edited too closely to the punch line, as it were. The piano tinkle in the background accompanies the revelatory line, then there's a quick medium shot, then the scene ends. It's as if Wang doesn't trust the audience to appreciate the full import of what just preceded, and instead chooses to underline it just to make sure. (In contrast, another Ozu-inspired director like Hou Hsiao-Hsien would perhaps let the scene breathe longer, easing the viewer out of the artificiality of the temporally-bracketed scene more slowly. Indeed, in <em>Dim Sum</em>, Wang followed these scenes with an Ozu-like â€śpillow shotâ€ť: a white bed sheet, on a clothesline, waving gently in the breeze.)</p>
<p class="PreformattedText">But this is a minor complaint when seen in the light of the restrained simplicity of <em>A Thousand Years of Good Prayers</em>. Thereâ€™s a scene in the film â€“ shades of <em>Tokyo Story</em> here â€“ when we get wind of Yilanâ€™s plan to buy train tickets for her father so he can travel and see more of the United States. But all he wants, he tells her later in an almost offhand way, is â€śto see the America youâ€™re happy in.â€ť Itâ€™s a quiet, stunning moment, one of many in Wangâ€™s eloquent, finely-crafted return to form.</p>

<p>There's a scene about halfway through Wayne Wang's 2007 film <em>The Princess of Nebraska</em> that's the complete stylistic opposite of the ending of his 1982 masterpiece, <em>Chan Is Missing</em>. You'll be forgiven if it reminded you of those Christopher Doyle-filmed handheld scenes in <em>Chungking Express</em>, and maybe it's even done on purpose: the scene is all a blurred swath of neon and Chinese characters, at once both immediately recognizable and illegible. (The man messing with the camera is Richard Wong, the talented director of <em>Colma: The Musical</em>.)</p>
<p>In contrast, the conclusion of <em>Chan Is Missing</em> consists of unmoving black-and-white scenes of Chinatown, of its residents walking with their groceries and waiting for the bus, of store facades and empty sidewalks reminiscent of Atget's Paris, while "Grant Avenue" from <em>Flower Drum Song</em> plays semi-ironically on the soundtrack. (Most people seem to remember the preceding scene as the conclusion -- a Harry Callahan-like image of gray ocean ripples, while our accidental detective "summarizes" the case on the voiceover -- but that's not the real ending.)</p>

<p>These two scenes -- shot in the same location, a little over twenty-five years apart -- exemplify not only a cinematic difference. They also invoke two different Chinas, the filmic embodiments of the vast cultural and socioeconomic differences produced in that short quarter-century. As with Jia Zhangke's film <em>The World</em>, this conjured homeland is awash with unequally distributed capital, with twittering cellphones and designer clothes.</p>
<p>But the China in this particular film is both absent and perpetually present, therefore mirroring the dislocation in the film as a whole. The new China seems incomprehensible to and utterly removed from Chinatown, but the main character is constantly connected to that China electronically. Even if her messages and videos do not seem to require or elicit a response.</p>
<p><em>The Princess of Nebraska</em> has a fragile shell of a plot: Sasha (newcomer Ling Li), a 16-year old Chinese college student, is not in Nebraska anymore (the first shot, after all, is of her red shoes), but has arrived, by way of the Oakland airport, in the San Francisco Bay Area. I won't reveal the reasons for her arrival (though any internet search will tell you, unfortunately), but it probably doesn't matter: plot is decidedly subservient to mood and image here, the background to the narrative only barely hinted at.</p>
<p>Sasha stands in for a new Chinese generation, born way too long after the Great Leap Forward. When asked about Tienanmen, Sasha simply answers, "I heard about it from my grandmother." Whether her answer is given out of pique, boredom, or honesty is irrelevant; the point is that she and her generation (to echo the new American turn-of-phrase Sasha learns) has "moved on".</p>
<p>Despite the superficial quality of her interactions with other people (and I think this is deliberate) -- her friends chattering about going to parties to meet hot men, reading other people's letters never sent, engaging in aimless theft, wandering the city streets as a dazed <em>flĂ˘neuse</em> -- the film masks a deeper discontent. These interactions can also be seen in contrast to <em>Chan Is Missing</em>, which, despite its improvised meanderings, is full of discussions about identity without them being specifically denoted as such. (I'm also reminded of two recent movies -- <em>Lost in Translation</em> and <em>Cafe Lumiere</em> -- which feature women navigating through foreign cities alone.)</p>
<p>Sasha's world is almost constantly mediated by the cellphone videos she takes: confessional fragments, snatched from the swirl of life around her, crammed into a small screen. <em>The Princess of Nebraska</em> skims across surfaces, and Wong's camera catches glimpses of Sasha obscured through dirty glass, half-hidden behind walls, or captured in smeared reflections. (There's a sound cue employed throughout the film that sounds like the whooshing of a BART train, suggesting perpetual transit.) These filmic gestures serve to heighten a sense of restless desperation on Sasha's part: a need to relate, to simply connect, to actually hook up in an existential manner -- to find anything that makes any sort of sense -- in order to save herself, a woman adrift between allegiances and continents.</p>
<p>Ultimately, however, the film is something of a weaker effort, as wispy as the skirt Sasha wears in her <em>After Hours</em> odyssey through San Francisco. It's certainly comparatively insubstantial in the context of Wang's early oeuvre. This assessment, however, is unfair because <em>Chan Is Missing</em> is in my top ten films of all time; if we're only talking about Asian American films, then <em>Chan Is Missing</em>
