No doubt this will be a hard match for Triple H because of The Great Khali's size advantage but the strength of Triple H is tremendous. If John Cena can FU The Great Khali and win, Triple H can do a lot better and pick up the win. Khali will dominate for most of the match I reckon but Triple H is my pick to be the winner and still the WWE Champion.

I haven't seen Smackdown! yet but I knew about this match. Vickie Guererro shocked lots of people by making this match. She said that she has reinstated The Undertaker and had forgiven Edge but she then went on to put Edge in a match at SummerSlam, fair enough. Against The Undertaker. HELL IN A CELL! Awesome news, I love Hell In A Cell matches. Hopefully they will climb on top of the cage and pull out all the stops. I think Edge will steal the win but I hope The Undertaker wins.

Mark Henry vs. Matt Hardy for the new look ECW Championship was the first match to be announced and it was so on WWE.com. Now I don't watch ECW at all so of course I don't really have much to say but I'll give my opinion. I think it's a good match and Henry will compete well. I think Matt will pick up the victory in this match.

Aw, man, love 'em.  Aw, I used to love working with them.  It was the best to work with Ricky and Robert.  For one thing, youse got these good-looking white guys, right?  These two big black guys, right here, that are gonna beat up on these good-looking white guys.  You should see the look on some of the people's faces around the ring.  And then they love them and watch them cry.  You know what I mean, and, actually get into that, and want to kill you for what you were doing.  It was, it was in a way, it was like, hey, they're having sex to watch it, okay?  When you're out there working with them  Love em.  Love every minute.  I would have worked with them every night if I could.

The above video is a match between Ron Simmons and Tommy Angel.  Ron completely dominated the match (which is a wrestling match I don't tend to get interested in, as I tend to prefer seeing big guys get dominated).  Anyway, the only reason I chose that match is to compare his excited response about the Rock 'n' Roll Express from the previous video to this uneven match against a smaller wrestler.

So it comes full circle.  I found Mr. Simmons' shoot interview -- and especially the "sex" comparison -- to be inherently erotic and arousing.  -_^

What happens sickens me to the point I have to turn it off and walk away.  It seems the WWE are teaming up with Jenny McCarthy and Generation Rescue (linky for more info).

Okay so I know that the wrestling is not real, the endings are decided before the event, it is all a fake, a sham.  But the is sports entertainment and you know that going in.

That doesn't make it right for them to try and sell a fake cure, a fake rescue, a sham of support to parents of children on the Autism specturm.

Jenny McCarthy herself in one interview can not decide if her son is recovered, undiagnosed, diagnosed or what (link).   Yet there she is out in the public face screaming about vaccines causing autism.  She needs something to blame, someone else to take responsibility.

Face facts lady, there is no reputable scientifically proven study that shows vaccines cause autism - nothing, nada, zip.  All the reputable, scientific research points in other directions.

Here is my light entertainment suddenly taken over by lies, misinformation and selling a false tale of cures to rip off the desperate.  It just makes me so angry.

With there move to MyNetworkTv the WWE will taming down the product on all three of there weekly shows in order to drop there American TV V-Chip rating from TV-14 to TV-PG.

As part of World Wrestling Entertainment's moves to become more family friendly, company plans to produce its three weekly TV series in a way that lands them a PG rating.

Currently, "Monday Night Raw" on USA Network and Sci Fi's "ECW" are rated TV-14, while the CW's "Friday Night Smackdown" already is TV-PG.

"Smackdown" moves to MyNetworkTV in October.

WWE stressed that its shows wouldn't become tamer, as a result of the change. They'd just focus more on its over-the-top characters and storylines, rather than attention-grabbing stunts that may have been considered too outrageous in the past.

Move is the latest step for the company to appeal to younger auds and families.

WWE recently launched a kids mag and website targeting the same demo with original content. Its film division, WWE Studios, also will steer away from R-rated content.

"It's the continuing evolution of the company to create content for our growing audience of younger viewers," a rep said.(Source)

Pare puţin în comparaţie cu concurentul lor principal, World Wrestling Entertainment, însă TNA-ul încearcă să recupereze printr-un număr tot mai mare de fani, un show săptămânal difuzat la televizor, pay-per-view-uri organizate în fiecare lună şi prin iminenta lansare a unui joc video. Unul dintre capurile de afiş al TNA este un fost angajat al companiei rivale, şi anume Kurt Angle, care recent a acordat un interviu referitor la motivele plecării lui din WWE şi la proiectele sale de viitor.

Întrebat despre diferenţele dintre federaţia lui Vince McMahon şi actualul său loc de muncă, Angle a declarat că nu va trece mult timp până ce TNA-ul va ajunge la profitul de 100 de milioane de dolari al WWE-ului. Superstarul mărturiseşte că de când a fost angajat, compania a progresat 200% şi că totul se datorează unei echipe unite. În ceea ce priveşte recrutarea wrestlerilor, Kurt a subliniat că TNA-ul pune mare accent pe talent, că urmareşte să angajeze cei mai buni atleţi şi să nu facă discriminări. Fostul medaliat olimpic menţionează că, spre deosebire de WWE, care în general acceptă în vestiarul lor doar luptători masivi, compania din care face parte are mulţi wrestleri cu o înălţime sub 1.80 m. În final, întrebat despre intenţiile sale de a-şi face debutul în domeniul artelor marţiale mixte, Angle a răspuns că a fost contactat de numeroase companii, însă riscurile de accidentare sunt prea mari comparativ cu sumele oferite.

Los dueños de la sexta no tenían en su mente crear un canal que llevase diversión y entretenimiento de calidad a los hogares españoles. Querían crear un imperio, al más puro estilo prisa, y como todo aficionado a Ciudadano Kane sabe, no existe imperio sin periódico que le respalde.

Y ahí nació Público, un medio enjendro con más similitudes con la prensa gratuita (20 minutos o adn) que con la prensa tradicional, como demuestra su precio, 50 cent (que ya ocasionó alguna protesta entre el gremio kioskero) y que sube a 1,50 el finde con un DVD de los hombres de paco (?). Público, como no puede ser de otra manera, se situa en ese conciso punto ideológico donde confluye el progresismo, el nacionalismo catalan mas rancio y el buenrollismo general que respeta tanto a las minorías como defiende la igualdad del gorila con el humano.

Pero Publico es a la Sexta lo que Cuatro a El Pais (bueno ahí habría que matizar), y claro, de cuando en cuando hay que plegarse a las exigencias, así, pasan por ejemplo de criticar a Cuatro por emitir el Pressing Catch en horario infantil (es un producto infantil) con perlas "El patetismo del show es tan exagerado que sólo los niños son capaces de tomarlo en serio." a publicitar su sucedaneo "Power Catch" que es para ellos una epítome gloriosa de "gomina, músculos y ficción" (denle vacaciones a ese redactor) y donde sin el menor rebozo de vergüenza llegan a publicitar la participación de una estrella decadente del WWE (El último guerrero) en un cierre de artículo original de los que solo se aprenden en la facultad "¿Se le habrá olvidado la danza?"

Así que esto es más o menos lo que tiene que ofrecer la nueva prensa, y la pregunta está clara, pero que cada uno se la haga en su mollera.

Warum die WADA sich keine Probe von Mircera geben lässt, um einen geeigneten Test hierfür zu entwickeln, fragten sich viele Fachleute. Dass das Statement des WADA Präsidenten nur heiße Luft und pure Panikmache war, erklärte Roche dann direkt einige Stunden später. Martina Rupp, die Roche Pressefrau, hierzu in einer Email: "Die seitens der WADA gegebene Information, dass Roche dem Präparate Mircera ein geheimes Molekül beifügt, um Mircera für Dopingtests erkennbar zu machen, ist falsch!"

Martine Rupp weiter: "Roche hat der WADA Proben von Mircera zukommen lassen, damit diese hierdurch einen funktionierenden Dopingtest herstellen können."

Ein Komplott der WADA und Roche, um dopende Athleten in Sicherheit zu wiegen und sie dann eiskalt zu erwischen? Wohl kaum! Ein missglückter Versuch, Athleten einzuschüchtern, um die Anzahl der Dopingfälle zu senken und die WADA dadurch in einem guten Licht da stehen zu lassen? Wohl eher :)

Doping kann im Spitzensport nicht verhindert werden. Ganz im Gegenteil: Durch Dopingtests sind Athleten oftmals darauf angewiesen, noch gefährlichere Medikamente einzunehmen und Methoden anzuwenden, um die Dopingtests zu unterwandern. Siehe z.B. die weltweit größte Wrestling Promotion WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment): früher nahmen alle Testosteron und Deca, in Ausnahmefällen auch Oxymetholon oder Methandienon. Seitdem die WWE Dopingkontrollen durchzieht, fällt auf, dass der Großteil der Anwender auf kurzwirksame Substanzen in Tablettenform umgestiegen ist, beispielsweise Stanozolol. Mehr muss zu diesem Thema nicht geschrieben werden...
